The wind was both a blessing and a curse that night. Not a soul was left outside when the hoards of Euclides, Amuni, and Defore made their way across the commonly packed streets. The stink of animal and the commotion they made kept the weary homeless from straying too close. All of them, there must have been thousands, were headed towards one, tiny building. A shack of a thing, really, with broken windows and peeling paint, battered walls and boarded doors. The creatures slunk through every open entrance they could find, and soon it too was swarming with agitated Euclides and their cousins. Arry watched this all with nervousness building in his gut. A single murdon would not be able to control these hoards of animals if they decided to attack. Minor fights had already broken out within the group, mainly between the Amuni and Euclides. A few dead, bleeding bodies were scattered about, and more were being nipped at every minute. The majority had split apart to be with their respective species, prefering not to mingle with the others. Arry would be more than a little relieved when this was all over. Finally there came a gentle prodding against his mind, and he slipped off of the long legged table he'd been sitted on. It was time to find The Five. Oh Zar. This was going to take some time. ---------------------- Alrighties ^^ This is the Open Pre-Hunt roleplay. Seeing as the Hunt is going to have major plot-influence over the entire board (eventually), Mem decided to let you guys play here. Those who have done up applications for the hunt may also roleplay their characters here, if they'd like. Keep in mind that -all- Euclides/Amuni/Defore have been summoned here, so you may RP as many of your pretties as you'd like. This is will only be open until the 10th. Mem is also not going to be participating in this very much. By participating in this, though, your character will probably have a better chance at being accepted. AND any non-character Euclides/Amuni/Defore might get mentioned in the official introduction for the Hunt Start. >3

Sirib walked among her own kind, trying to stay away from the ever haunting Amuni and Defore.. She had no idea what she or any of the others were doing here. Her mind just said, "Go" and she did. That irritating beeping noise hadn't stopped, but she wasn't paying any attention to that anymore. She was watching everything going on around her, taking in the sights, smells, and feelings of the others. Most looked confused, others had death on their mind.

another also walked upon them. an Chiroptae Heaven Amuni. a Priest as well. he didn't like the rush too well. he saw some Amunies irritating some euclides. he puffed out his chest and fly over there. it was hard to pick out individuals. however he didn't have those big ears for nothing.
JaKeaj landed right in between the Amuni and the euclides. "now, now there. we all live on this planet and we should harmonize. don't you think thats how he would've wanted it?" he scolded the youngsters. with a snarl they decided not to get in a fight with this more experienced Amuni.

In a hot and overly crowded room, Jiaro was not the sort of creature you wanted to run into. Alas, many Amuni and even a few Euclides discovered this before Jiaro's attention came upon something even more enraging than an obnoxious Amuni trying to purge their precious world of him: Kujien. Kujien had been getting along better, though the smooth-talking feline wasn't at all in his normal state. It was hard to be completely neutral and self-contained when there was an awful screeching in his ears and hot bodies pressed against him on all sides. However, the was one thing worse than the ear-splitting noise, the abrupt need to get the hell to whomever this 'creator' was, and the mass of creatures invading his personal space: Jiarokumo. The two figures stood stock still among the tide of surging bodies, eyes locked in a furious debate of wills. Jien knew he was powerful enough to take on the 300 year old Annihilation, not with brute strength alone. His eyes narrowed and the familiar smell of acidic poison seeped slowly into the air, tainting Jien's slick coat. Jiaro hissed in rage at the scent of poison tinting the air and tingling at his nose. The little coward. How dare he mock him in such a way! As if poison would save him? He didn't need his fangs to assist him, a few well-placed swipes would leave this fool in pieces. There was too much noise around him, too many obtuse morons bumping into his dark hide. He couldn't take another minor of glaring down the smaller Poison feline. Abruptly Jiaro lunged forward, he never gave anyone a sporting chance, it wasn't at all in an Annihilation's personality. Luckily Jien was a swift where he wasn't powerful and was able to duck out of Jiaro's vicious tackle. However, that also meant another foolish beast wound up on the other end of Jiaro's claws. Jiaro removed his claws from the side of the unlucky fellow who had gotten in his way and spun, facing Jien once more. This wouldn't work. There were too many others in his way. Not that he'd mind mowing them all down to get at Jien, but it'd be a long and bloody fight before he got to the male. "Stop running, you little coward."He hissed out, fangs bared as his tail lashed in the typical image of feline rage. Jien purred deviously, his usual silken words had a poisonous undertone. "What? Is the big lion too slow to catch me?"His own tail flicked in anger, his eyes narrowed upon his rival. Slowly his venomous smile slid onto his muzzle, already he could see the muscles coiling in Jiaro's body. The larger male was ready to pounce again, and Jien's words had hit their mark. Jiaro twitched slightly in anger and lunged once more, but this time he was far faster than Kujien had anticipated and the Poison Puppet Master was left with a nasty slice along his hind leg. Kujien mewled in rage and leapt further out of Jiaro's range before spinning and lunging at the dark male. Jiaro was fast, but not as fast as Jien and there was no escaping the swift lunge for his throat. Fangs graze the tender flesh, but a well placed paw dislodged them in an instant, sending Jien tumbling into an unsuspecting Defore which quickly got out of the Poison/Annihilation brawl. Jien and Jiaro showed no need plans of relaxing their vicious attack on one another, however, if they continued they might tear down the whole shack as well. ...Perhaps someone should stop them?

Even everyone's favorite self-proclaimed prince felt the pull of the call, though in what he thought was only a matter of course (regardless of how it was actually luck) the cieling was far less crowded than the floors below. It was only fitting after all, that he have more room to himself than those squabbling simpletons below. It was warmer here perhaps than the masoleums he so adored, but there was no surprise in that. Great radar-like ears swivelled about, taloned toes clinging to a board of the cieling as eyes that looked to be doused in blood focused downwards. So many little fights... but that one... two puppet masters.... What better time to off a competitor than here? A shame there was no sheltered place that he could drag some unfortunate simpleton aside to feed. "Ah, Herren...." he said, teasingly substituting the german word for gentlemen. "So nice to see that childish squabbling is not given up, even among our elite." He finished, clearly implicating them both as immature. Toothy smile was afterwards displayed, rather prominant fangs readily visible assuming they'd the eyesight to pick him out amongst those on the ceiling. Then again, what other spoke with that gutteral accent he'd fashioned as his trademark?

"As we have proven on several account, my Prince?"
Jaku slipped liquidly through the crowd, eyeing his fellow puppet master with a cool smile. He didn't enjoy the crowds in the least, too many females, and he was a solitary Euclides by nature, as Vlaj knew. Besides, he had been called in the middle of a rather delicate dissection, and now she would be incomplete. He relished in the fact that the whore would be able to examine her own internal organs for several minutes before she finally bled to death. He eyed the two Euclide warily, recognizing one of them as that Jiarokumo legend that had spread through the streets. He would rather not get involved, and he wouldn't unless someone injured him. Then, well, his blades hadn't had the proper exercise today...
"Jaku!"
The second voice was poisoned polite and sensual. Jadereith pushed through the crowd's, his small, slender build perfect for slipping in between the gaps in the heated bodies. He didn't mind the contact so much, a social being at heart. He rubbed lightly against Jaku's side, his greeting smile coy but with a sardonic bite near hidden behind the green/black mask. "It's wonderful to see you again, with your own kind instead of that human slut of yours..."
The spite by which he said it would've normally earned him a decapitation by most Puppet Masters, but Jaku didn't kill males, and Jadereith's petty jealousies were amusing to him. He smirked back, allowing the mustildae's possessive touch but not responding in the least. "You are throwing stones, Jadereith. I have told you that a marionette's pretty games aren't meant for script writers."
Jadereith glared at him behind the mask, then his eyes flicked to the two fighters. So that was Jiarokumo, eh? No wonder they called him a god. That Poison type must be something to get him all riled up like that. He absolutely loved it when others ripped themselves up, especially two attractive ones as this. Jaku traced the smile behind the mask, deciding that it would be fun to play with the mustildae as they waited, it would take his mind off of the heat and the others in general. His voice was light as he questioned. "Isn't Sangjaheil with you?"
Jadereith managed to smooth his irritated start into a nonchalant shrug. His voice adopted an arrogant tone as he watched the fight. "I don't know. Just because we live in the same theatre doesn't mean I keept tabs on him. He came the same time I did, he's probably just creeping someone out somewhere."
Said Euclides actually was near the break of the fight, next to the Defore that Kujien had been sent barreling into. He gave a brief glance at the two fighters, noting their rank and anger. The whole shack was going to collapse at this rate, but trying to stop it would be suicide, considering the fighters. It was best he just stay in the background, as he was accustomed to, but his bright coat, almost blinding in the crowd of dark bodies, allowed him none. There were too many he was not accustomed too, and the blood from the fight, the perfect red gashes on the two contenders, the hunger was starting to burn in him. He closed his eyes as he resisted the sanguine temptation, it was not the time nor place. They needed no further bodies, and with this many powerful Euclide around, it would probably be at his own risk.
(More to be added, have to eat ))

Laekubi snarled at an unfortunate Used Puppet, baring her teeth in anger. She /hated/ this. Absolutely hated everything about it. The stench, the sheer number of Euclides...and those Amuni, those moronic Amuni stirring up trouble. What in the hell were they being called for anyways? Who was this creator, and why were they obeying him? She was startled out of her thoughts by the snarling of two fighting Puppet Masters whom she happened to know well. The arch enemies, the legendary rivals, Jien and Jiaro. Apparently another was interveening, but it would be fun to see what happened if she entered the mix. Stepping up towards the gaudily dressed possible Master, she gave a gruff canine laugh and turned to the Chiroptae gleefully, "It's always the Felines, it seems."She shot a mocking glance at the two Masters, noting with a frown how attractive they both seemed to be. Pity they were so immature.

Following closely behind the Blood Puppet Master, allowing the large canine to open the pathway, was the Temptaion feline, Ravashkaebi. Her bulky build might be shadowed by that of Jiaro's, but not by much. Though it was true she lacked the sheer male power of the Master. The comotion caught her attention, and she sidled towards the rivals and their potential mediators.
"Don't be so quick to judge, my dear canine." She countered, politeness coating her words as she sent a bold wink to the two haters, stretching in what little room the masses allowed her.
{{Sorry for the shortness, but I must depart!}}

Despite the fact that the two felines had been hellbent to tear each other to pieces, the jibe from the 'Prince' put them at a momentary standstill. Neither were one to take insults and merely shrug it off. Jien because he was the Euclides biggest narcissist, and Jiaro because he had a temper a mile long.
"I dare you to come down and say that to my face." Jiaro debated this for a second and then decided against that. "Forget that. I'll go up there and get you!"
He growled angrily and absolutely launched himself off the floor at Vlaj. He could've gone higher if he'd tried, a six foot beast at the shoulders, a 3 - 4 meter high roof wasn't holding him back in the least. His deadly jaws snapped shut, but instead of closing on anything vital, he merely caught the hem of his cloak.
Ah well.
Yanking his head back, he tore the Chiroptae off the rafters and landed smoothly upon his massive paws, Price clutched in his jaws. Without bothering to set him down, Jiaro began to finally shake his head from side to side, ripping Vlaj about like a doll though the dizzy Chiroptae would be able to get away once he got it in his head to do so.
(<3)
Jien tilted his attention toward the others while Jiaro had his fun with the bat. No need to interrupt such a pleasant sight. Slowly his venomous smile deepened as his gaze rested on the Blood Puppet Master.
"My dear, tempers are flaring everywhere. We are not the only one to pick at one another."
Slowly his gaze scanned the small crowd of onlookers.
"But you're ones to talk aren't you? So calm and collected in this mess."
His voice was low, smooth as always, but his tone was acid. It wasn't exactly the best time to get on either Puppet Masters' nerves.

"Ah, Jaku." he began. "At least our fights do not come to blows, so droll."
"You must be joking..." the chiroptae spoke in responce to Jiaro's dare, attention only starting to re-settle upon the feline before... what in the hells? He was forcibly dislodged from his comfortable perch, splinters of wood raining down as he'd dug his talons firmly into the one beam of the ceiling. Wouldn't it just be their luck if the fight brought the shack down around them?
Luckily, Vlaj had not survived all his time in the world without learning to react quickly. By time the leonine's paws connected with the floor again, he would swing about with his face and belly towards the great cat. His intention was to fasten a taloned foot to each of Jiaro's forelegs, staving those away from his body as taloned wings wrapped about his shoulders. Again, pending success, the vampire would do what came most naturally to him. He'd give the man one hell of a bite, and await the chance to release him. Why wait? He wasn't just going to drop beneath those clawed paws! Uh uh! He wanted a chance to be flung or somesuch, wanted a chance to get out of range. Melee was not his forte...

Jiaro wasn't dumb, it was in his blood to solve things through violence. In fact, most Euclides were like that, Annihilations more so. Nonetheless, Jiaro wasn't the sort to just allow himself to be bitten and so he promptly released Vlaj's cloak and hissed lowly.
"You've made your point."
Seems a nice dose of pain from someone other than Jien was enough to put him in his place. Narrowed eyes stared at the vampire latched to his throat. He was not so irrational as to risk tearing out a junk of his own flesh just to paw a vampire off of him.
Jien flicked his gaze toward Jiaro, smirked, and then turned it back toward the others. And they called him immature, but he didn't voice that opinion...because it was was quite honestly immature.

Thank the makers.... At least while Jiaro was a terror to deal with, he had limits. Now one need only hope he wouldn't double-back and try again the moment he was released. Vlaj found it beneath himself to do such things except in extreme cases, but this was not one of those.
Given his chance, he disengaged from the larger, at the most leaving a bite and a few faint piercings where desperate talons clasped a tad too tightly. Down he dropped, and to taloned feet. Wings were implemented in a practiced fashion as fore-legs, and with all the pride one whom Jiaro had backed down from deserved, he'd stalk away and into the crowd. Well- for all he'd not intended the scuffle, perhaps the vampire would earn a bit of prestige? And at the cost of his beloved robe.... He'd have to find a marionette to stitch it back together for him.
More distracting yet... he'd that lovely taste in his mouth. The scent of it filled his nose, the coppery tang as pleasurable as the touch of a lover. Once he'd found a more out of the way place to do so he'd painstakingly groom his muzzle. Not a fleck of hid fellow puppet master's lifeblood would go unconsumed.

Jaku admitted he was rather amused by Vlaj's turn of luck, but the chiroptae had sealed his fate with the remark, in his eyes at least. He made no move to hide his wide grin at the Prince's misfortunes, indeed would've laughed if he wanted to rip the cast apart. His gaze flicked over to Kujien and his poisoned words. My, some were certainly on the edge, as he might be if he weren't so accustomed to acting outside whatever he might be feeling. He gave a brief nod in the Puppet Master's direction.
"It is for the best that we try not to bring the place down, isn't it?" he said lightly, his tone impossible to figure. It couldn't be taken as an insult, nor as placating. He didn't want to start anymore fights, just get the hell out of here as quickly as possible. Having this many Euclide together, not to mention Amuni and Defore, well whoever had planned this escapade was not in the least very self-preserving was he?
"If you'll excuse me," he moved from Jadereith's side, the mustildae sulking that the fight had been ended, over to Jiaro, still remaining a respective distance from those claws. He raised an eyebrow at Vlaj's current position.
"And here I was thinking you only fed on those beauties you collect Vlaj, unless there is something you are not telling me. Come along then, it would be so much trouble to find another Puppet Master for the cast, you know how tetchy they can be."
He was hoping the vampire would try not to be decapitated, it would be such a mess to actually have to deal with the cast alone. Still, he couldn't help bating him, it was such a fun game to play...
Sangjaheil slipped past the quelling brawl, giving a singular nod to Jaku before moving to Jadereith's side. The Script Writer didn't seemed to notice, watching Jaku with an almost concern. The blood's silk savage voice, tinged with a faint, seductive french flavor, surprised him. "You are wearing your mask here, why?"
Jadereith curled his lip. He had hoped that Sangjaheil would've been among the bodies he had seen lying upon the floor. With a irate flick of his paw, he pretended to be absorbed by the negotiations upon the floor. "I cannot risk having my face ruined in this mess. After all, we can't all be as pretty as you, can we?"
Sangjaheil ignored the jab at his past, a hard thing to do with the bloodlust screaming in his mind, but he remained impassive. His delicate, feminine look was reminiscent of his mother's, the thing that had gotten him captured in the first place, both a blessing and a curse. But he had survived Eris, he hoped he would survive this night. Still he couldn't resist a jab at Jadereith, no longer a fun victim, he was so predictable. He flipped his mane over one eye. "Pity for you anyways, you might hold Jaku better."
Jadereith snarled and swiped angrily at Sangjaheil's shoulder, scoring an angry gash against the pure whiteness of his coat. In the light it looked like but another of his markings. The Blood type merely shrugged, then swiftly tackled the mustildae, holding him down easily, a strength unseen in his slender form. He leaned his face in close, the bloodlust burning in his eyes. "Trust me Jadereith, you do not want to anger me tonight."
The Script Writer turned away from those inhuman eyes. He had enoguh self-preservation to know that Sangjaheil did not make threats lightly.

((Oh my goodness! You're gone for a couple hours and I can't find out where I should post.. hmm...)) Sirib was walking around, trying to find a familiar face, or one that looked worth talking to. She wandered through the croud in a very swishy way, trying to get any attention possible. She did not like being ignored or anything of that nature. She looked through some canine Euclide and saw Sinnarnbi! Sinnarnbi and Sirib had met a couple years ago in an abandoned theatre. Both her and Sinnarnbi had had trouble with humans, and they had bonded quickly, but Sirib hadn't seen her in about 4 months. She called out "Sinnarnbi!" The other feline Euclide looked over a smiled, "Hey! It's nice to see a familiar face here!" She walked over to the tiger and sat down, looking around. "Have you seen all the fights breaking out? It's going to be a slaughter house soon if things don't calm down," Sinnarnbi said, looking around at all the wounded and dead bodies lying on the ground. Sirib nodded and looked around, feeling like she was being watched...

A rather tired Defore arrived outside the shack, sniffing the air and perking his ears. It reeked of his brethren, and more slunk through his vision, all with the same destination. He peered around, walking slowly towards a broken window, trying to pick out at least another Defore, but it seemed that few were here yet. I was rather lucky to have arrived so quickly, he thought to himself. The overseas travel may have been strenuous, and taken its toll on the gold Defore, but at least he was where he needed to be. He shrugged the pack slung across his back into a better position, cheering slightly at the lovely jingling sound it produced, and glanced down at the small pouch on his left foreleg, then defly leaped through the window.
And nearly onto a few Euclides, which managed to scamper out of his way, snapping at him as they did so.
Endenu was no longer quite so glad to be at his destination, as he darted into a small bit of open space away from the Euclides he'd nearly crushed. His eyes darted around, scanning the large crowd. He took in the fighting and bickering, and the clusters of each sub-species, spotting one of his own type. With another glance around him, though, he decided not to join them, and sat against the wall, trying to be out of the way, at least to the extent that it was possible.
Hmm. I may as well take advantage. His roving eye passed over those near him. Some of the nearby males he eyed with suspicion; he wasn't inclined to find himself engaged in a fight. The females, however... well, there certainly were some lovely ones, and Endenu's blue-violet eyes drank in the lithe forms, regardless of species. A slight smile curved up his lips, but he was content to merely watch, for the moment.
