{ooc| I haven't really introduced myself, I'm Cinna or just Cin. I hope I'll be getting to know everyone better now that I've got my own lil' bundle of joy (many thanks to Memoru).} "Would ya look at that then!" the Puppet exclaimed to herself quietly, sitting on a log in the middle of the copse. It was a unusually warm autumn evening, with only a forgotten summer breeze shaking the multicolored leaves. Still, even in the warmest weather, hypothermia was still a risk. She knew that well enough. But for the moment it was not hypothermia nor pneumonia that caught the Paranoia's interest. No, it was the splinter sticking from her right paw, dangerously close to a vein. And even if she didn't bleed to death the chance of infection was astronomically high, or she could be unable to move and eventually starve to death. Oh, this game was so fun with so many options! But then again, it wasn't completely a game. The Feline fully believed this sliver was to be the death of her, but why stop there? Who knew what lurked behind the maple trees, preparing to strike at a moments notice. What was that, a shadow or a Puppet Master, ready to steal her soul. Or worse. A noise broke the Paranoia's rambled thoughts, causing her to roll over and land in the dirt, hiding behind the log. Her large ears picked up almost any sound, so it could've just been a cricket, maybe a bird. But it wasn't, it was something coming ready to kill her. The game was over now, this was life or death. Could she run? One look at her could tell you she could neither run fast or far, plus she couldn't risk having her heart give out or a stroke. Even an aneurysm was possible. God, she was so hungry. It never failed, if she panicked it was time to eat. But there was nothing here, only dirt, and she couldn't very well eat that. Not if she didn't want a parasite, that is. With her luck it would probably eat her brain. Should she just give up and face the creature that awaited her? If she stayed here much longer the log may roll over her. Logs were evil like that, always benign until they had a chance to attack. The Puppet leaped up and over the feared log and into the clearing. Her wild eyes searched for the source of her death, but the formidable beast seemed to have disappeared. A retreat! She had won! "Ha! Not so tough now, eh?" She called out and flung her head high in the air in victory. She spied a shadow moving among the trees. "I showed ya, huh?" Her voice was quieter now, less triumphant. What if it was still there, waiting. Oh, but no. It was just a butterfly, about the only thing Isedorbi didn't fear. Her chubby frame relaxed and she sighed. If only she wasn't so hungry.

There was, however, something else lurking within the bushes, something somewhat small and lethally silent. Silence was this young lads world and he never uttered a sound, and he was ok with that... most of the time. He was half silence and there was naturally unable to lend his voice to any situation, and sometimes he wished beyond anything else that he could, but not today, today was about fun! He'd been lying in wait in the brush, stalking his colorful little prey item and, just a few breaths beyond the butterflies exit of the bush, a yellow, gray and white form would suddenly spring from the bush after it. Gray foreplays flailed after his fluttering adversary but alas, it was to no avail. He was out maneuvered once more and fell in an ungraceful heap next to the brush and flickered his tail about in anything but pleasure.

Isedorbi could almost laugh, a butterfly! She was much larger than a butterfly! There was nothing to be afraid of, at least not at the moment. Her relaxed state did not last long, already a worm was appearing as a formidable foe. She watched in premature terror as it inched through the dirt, no doubt carrying god-knows-what diseases.
"Get 'way from me!" She wailed and slowly crept backwards, her large eyes never leaving her attacker. The worm, apparently unfazed by her pitiful display, continued on its journey, unaware of the fear it struck in the Euclide's heart. Tentatively the Puppet jumped back and even managed a weak snarl. The worm burrowed under the ground, probably hoping to escape the madness.
"Ha! See there, I ain't no weaklin'!" She called out and pranced about, her ears wagging in the autumn breeze. "Who's next, eh?" She added with a hiss. Oh, naive thing!
A noise, accompanied by a tiny form, quickly banished all thoughts of successful skirmishes. It wasn't a particularly dangerous looking Euclide, by the looks of him, but you could never know. Some of the worst were those appearing benign. Isedorbi quaked and cowered close to the ground, a whine rising in her throat.
"What ya want then? Get!" She whispered, feeling none too brave. "But then, I 'pose tha' what ya want." It was probably trying to herd her into the shadows, where she'd be attacked by unnamed monsters. Another whimper accompanied that thought and the female couldn't help closing her eyes, preparing for death.

He was completely unaware of the fact that there was another Euclides anywhere in this area and was entirely focused on the task at hand, chasing the butterfly. He even stalked it a bit more and lept into the air again with all the grace of a teenaged feline with a sleek form. Again his paws fell short of the butterfly who flew up and away from the scene, not wishing to meet it's end at the paws of the young male. This was fine anyhow, his ears had caught and registered the fear laden orders of another.
He turned his golden head, empty orbs peering over to where he thought the other was and was indeed rewarded with the vision of the chubby lynx. He thought a moment about her markings before her type came to mind, yes, definitely a paranoia. Was there any was to really calm them? He was unsure, but he knew he was probably one of the least threatening Euclide roaming this city.
He peered at her with interest, rounded auditories perked forward as that silky snow white tail partially curled back and forth idly. He noticed that she cowered and seemed to be waiting for death, and this drew him in more. He moved toward her slowly, not wishing to scare her more. He was sending soothing thoughts toward her, but she may not pick up on them, he didn't know how well versed she was in non-verbal communications.

Unfortunately for them both, Isedorbi was not one to pick up on subtle conversation, and the fact he was approaching scared her close to death. Gone was the warrior who bravely faced the log, now there was only a hunk of cowering fear. She backed up until she was near the edge of the trees, then she was trapped. What to do? Could she make a run for it...ha! No, of course not. That's what they wanted her to do. Her ears twitched this way and that, hearing every single sound off in the distance. There didn't seem to be anyone else lurking, and she could usually trust her ears....
And he was quite small anyway, perhaps she was being foolish. Or ridiculous, was she ridiculous? No, she was merely prepared. Oh, all this thinking made her hungry! And she really couldn't let him get near, not yet. But why hadn't he spoken yet? It seemed silly to not say hello, if one was of friendly nature. Isedorbi was ignorant, it did not occur to her that their were types unable to speak. To her, it was all treachery.
But she could play along, maybe? At first glance he didn't seem so tough, so maybe for now she should wait and bide her time. Anything was better than running through those trees, prey for any ruthless carnivore.
"Uh, 'lo," her voice was a whisper, and her eyes grew ever wider. The lynx shook her head and looked back at the tiny Euclides with a bit less pitiful fear. "'Ello," she repeated, and although her voice broke it was louder. "Who're ya?" She asked, trying to keep herself from sprinting off.

The fear that rolled off of her body was thick enough to be almost tangible, and that wicked Graffiti half of his lineage wanted to just take advantage of the situation... but he'd long since taken control of that little devil inside, Siibsynomelyn had helped him do that. He was simply curious and wished to understand this creatures fear, or fears, better. Knowledge came with understanding, and you could only understand what you tried to.
For a moment he thought she would bolt, but she surprised him by staying put. He was still rather confused as to why she was so afraid of him. He was small, his colors weren't all that flashy or intimidating and he was trapped in a world of silence, it baffled him.
He stopped about a foot or two from her form, tilting his head to the side inquisitively and merely looking at her, he didn't want to stress her out to badly. She was actually quite lucky that she'd run into him rather then some of the other demons that patrolled these lands. He was nothing compared to the others, especially some of the Puppet Masters.
When she spoke his ears jumped fully forward, and then she spoke again, slightly more confident this time around. It was times like these that he longed for speech, but he couldn't think about that for to long now, he didn't want to sadden himself and especially not in front of his present company.
At her question he motioned toward his tail, which had become his main form of communication, and started to use it to spell in the air, the most direct way to get his point across. And if she were able to catch the hint and read it, he would spell out his name for her, Jiyoshikae.

"Wha...? Can't ya speak?" She asked, her eyes narrowing. Silence made her uncomfortable, and that was the main reason she found him unnerving. Was it a trick? She couldn't tell, he seemed adamant about not speaking. Maybe he was hoping she'd break the ice. Maybe he was as afraid as she was! Not that she was particularly afraid, but still, it was nice to have someone in the same position. If only he would speak though! Then maybe they could help each other...
As he moved closer she instinctively moved back a few steps. It wasn't him, it was an impulse. She wasn't used to anyone getting within a few feet, and she wasn't going to change that now. Such rules had saved her life from time to time. Despite the soothing knowledge he probably didn't mean any harm, Isedorbi could feel her pulse racing. It never really did slow down, even while she slept.
There was a few awkward moments of silence, in which the female did her routine sweep of the surrounding area. Every five minutes or so she felt a unconscious desire to check for intruders. She had been surprised not many other Euclide did the same thing, it was second nature to her. She couldn't help noticing that the male in front of her did no such thing, in fact he seemed almost at ease. Obviously he didn't know what dangers could be out there, lurking in the shadows.
Now, what was he doing with his tail? How strange, it was almost like a co-
Oh, of course! Isedorbi practically moaned with her stupidity. He couldn't speak! He was a Silence, maybe? Either way, he was mute. And here she was, attacking him because he wouldn't say anything. He'll probably get angry and attack her, or worse leave her out here to starve.
"I-I'm so sorry!" She apologized meekly and lowered her head like the subservient Puppet she was. "I didn't...I didn't realize you couldn't speak. Is it Jiyoshikae?" She asked and bit her lower lip. Should she tell him her name? No, that was never a good idea. But a nickname, that was surely fine. "I'm Dorbi," she introduced simply.

He was indeed of the Silence variety, or, rather, half of the silence variety, his other half was that of the destructive Graffiti type. However, it seemed the traits of his other half laid dormant beneath a peaceful exterior and despite his communication set backs, he was a pretty shipper, social young feline. There was certainly to much to do and see to let something that was completely out of your control stand in the way of happiness, a lesson the chubby feline in front of him could certainly take a hint from.
He made no move to leave, not put off by her little show of aggression at all, he was used to it. The way his colors were it was hard to tell what type he was, much less the two halves of his whole. Besides, he was quite confident in the belief that it would come to her eventually, most adults knew their types pretty well, especially the common types and his faith was eventually rewarded.
He gave her a toothy grin, more goofy looking then fierce and nodded before dipping his head and bringing a paw up to his chest, his form of a greeting, before waving his tail about again, spelling out the name she'd given to show he'd been listening.

"Yep, yep. Isedorbi, that's me!" She exclaimed cheerfully, she really wasn't an awful creature, once one got to know her. Usually though she just panicked and ran off, or else she challenged them to a fight. She wasn't a threat though, there wasn't much muscle hidden underneath her fur.
"I'm gonna guess yer a Silence, but maybe I'm wrong?" Probably, she'd been wrong about everything so far. She couldn't for the life of her remember another type that couldn't speak, but maybe he was a mix. Hopefully not a Cannibal or something dreadful! He didn't have any fangs that she could see though, so he probably wasn't a Vampire...
Her stomach growled like a tiger, and Isedorbi remembered how hungry she had been only moments ago. She needed something to eat, or else she'd probably faint. But what about Jiyoshikae? She couldn't just leave 'em here.
"Um, I'm gonna find something ta eat. Yer welcome ta come, if ya want..." The lynx trailed off meekly and lowered her head. She was never so brave as to ask someone to eat with her, she was secretly proud of herself. Even if he said no, at least she made an effort, right?
