... And I'll bring the Pills and Games.
It had been a perfectly dreadful evening, the winds rushing through the foliage of the copse, ripping the weaker limbs and leaves from their places, the rain pelting the ground while lightning danced in the sky, leaving thunder behind. It was quite the glorious storm, or at least it had been. Now, in the dead of night, the air was wickedly still, the earth moist and the copse was left in silent disaster. Surely none would be out tonight, especially with the clouds that loomed overhead giving every bit of promise that another storm would be on it's way. however, this wouldn't keep everything indoors, not a chance. There were always looming souls in the lands, and the ones in the copse were less then ethereal.
This evening three souls, whom the sight of them would make any mildly religious Amuni's blood boil, picked their way through the aftermath of the storm. This was their first evening away from the protective gaze of their father, out of the warmth of their underground refuge, they're first night alone. And they were enjoying it to the fullest.
The most prominent figure was a large black canine who, at first glance, didn't look much like a bebe at all for his size, but he was the same age as his smaller companions. He walked with his head and tail held high, sun amulet bouncing with each step he took. Already strong muscles moved fluidly beneath that thick, glorious coat, promising that in adulthood this would be quite the impressive male. He turned his head, peering back at his smaller sister, making sure she was still alright with coming out tonight, she hadn't wanted to leave initially and he didn't want to have to take her home now, not when the evening was just beginning.
The second figure was far less impressive. Her coat was a dull and drab shade of grey, no markings, just grey. Her build was small, and frail and her steps seemed labored, or rather steps with her hind legs. Her hind limbs looked nothing like a feline's should, her paws were deformed, her legs in generally shriveled and sickly just like her tail. Her steps were slow and calculated, like a zombie and yet, not. Her mane hung haphazardly over her face, blocking out most of her features, but she gave a very small smile to her brother, a smile that just screamed I don't like this, but I'm not going home yet.
The third could easily be missed if one were to merely scan over his larger siblings, especially since he almost disappeared in the fur around his larger brother's throat. He was an oddity, a small, weak oddity, who'd ever heard of a Serpent euclides? Well, here was one, wrapped snugly around the Eclipse canine's neck, getting a free ride. He to was looking back at the frail feline only to lift himself up to Fenrir's ear and whisper something into it, which in turn brought the canine's attention back to the expanse of land in front of them.
His ears went back and a low growl erupted from his throat suddenly, there was something out there and he'd be damned if he'd let it get to either of his siblings.
