It was a positively splendid evening. The sky a haze purple on the horizon, giving one last glimmer of color before the sun rays were forgotten for the day. Everyday ended like this. The sun slipped away and the shift between day and night ran smoothly, like a well practiced dance. It was just so... rehearsed and boring. And speaking of boring today had been rather ... dull. He rose from his chosen place of slumber, stretching his limbs ever so gracefully as he removed any kinks or stiffness from them. One clawed paw was placed before the other, setting all four into a steady, liquid motion. It wasn't long before he reached the edge of his present 'home', as he hadn't found a theatre that quite suited him yet, and took a graceful leap to the earth landing with a hushed thud. He wiggled his claws, enjoying the feel of the soft, emerald tresses beneath them. The fading light reflected off of his white top hat and coat, giving a very soft glow and dulling the appearance of his horns and spikes, which had grown more impressive with adulthood, much like the rest of him. His body, long and lean, his legs a flattering length for his size and his face, handsome, more then a match for his father any day, or so he liked to think. He'd received only the finest qualities of his parents and this was more then visible in his new found glory. And he'd acquired his top hat as well, ascending into his rightful rank, simply splendid. But for all of that he was bored. Vash had long since became a toy below his standards and thus left to fend for himself, his other siblings were boring from the start and he hadn't seen any other playthings in awhile. Where had all the pretty dolls of the past go off to? Those that hadn't been to frilly and empty headed had been fun, but even a gent would be fair enough to ease his present mood. He could not, however, guarantee a nice trick for them. No, gentleman were fun in other ways. Hollow eyes scanned his surroundings once more before he stopped, rocking back on his hinds and allowing his spiked tail to dance through the grass as he awaited company. He wasn't the kind to seek it, no matter how much he desired it. He hadn't played a trick in a long time, and today was the day to get back to himself ...

The young femme flitted along, blissfully enjoying the sparks that jumped from her paws as she practiced her small magics, pausing to cast a small explosion here and there with her wand. The hat that adorned her head would be misleading if she wasn't always bouncing around displaying her small magician's tactics, for in fact she wasn't a Puppet Master, rather, next in line, a Director. Fitting, she thought. A large male with a hat very much like her own sat, looking terribly bored on his own. Being young, enthusiastic, and curious, she ventured forward with an excited smile in place. "Ello! You look mighty bored. Don't suppose you could, ah, show me a trick or two, sir?" She seemed to wiggle in place, mistaking him obviously for one of her own, as compared to the rank above her, which he was. Now, she was not disrespectful in the least, but prone to getting ahead of herself. She tipped her hat politely and did a small bow. "Birakaecia, Bira if you'd like, sir." When it seemed as if she might have to promp him, she motioned at his impressive figure and spoke again. "And you are?..." Expectant, she had absolutely no idea who he was, else she might have held a little more caution. She was familiar with three of his bloodline already and it had been more than enough for her to be honest. Of course, it wasn't nice to judge one simply based on their lineage... surely he couldn't be so bad.

A rustle of motion caught his attention bringing rounded auditories forward briefly before they returned to their previous, lazy position. The oncoming youth wasn't trying to be quiet or illusive so it wasn't a hard task to pick up her movements and watch her approach.
He noted the confidence in which she approached him, twas and odd thing indeed to see especially from a bebe. Her words confirmed his thoughts, she hadn't a clue who he was nor where his blood ran, making her a far more interesting presence then before. Although he couldn't blame her for guessing his type wrong, Pandemonium Euclides weren't exactly common and most hadn't any clue what they were.
He dipped his cranium low, coming almost nose to nose with her, a smirk curling onto his perfectly sculpted muzzle keeping his features deceptively pleasant, but hiding a hint of something else. His voice was smooth and cool, enough to send a shiver down those with weaker wills spines. "Well my dear Birakaecia, it all depends on the types of trick you seek." The corners of his smile twisted more, allowing fangs to become briefly visible.
His body transferred fluidly between sitting and standing, that spined tail flickering a bit again as he raised his head, keeping his gaze upon her. "Lokijikuvair is who I am, Loki is what I'm called." There was, indeed a difference in his mind. Loki had far more meaning to him then his honorific name. It was just so long, and ... dull.

He had an air of arrogance about him it seemed, as if he had some bigger place in society that she wasn't aware of. Maybe he did, but surely he'd say something if he was too high and snobby to socialize with lower class or whatever. Not that she was lower class, beind a Director and all... But still, lower class could mean anything to anyone, to some perhaps she would be considered lower class for simply being female. Wouldn't surprise her in the least.
"Ah, impressive ones. If I can't figure it out then you get bonus points. Mind you, I've done quite a bit... sawing someone in half through a box, stabbing with swords, you know the deal. All that humans pride themselves in being able to complete, I've already mastered." She boasted, one hand brushing at her hat pridefully. She looked up at his and whistled low, obviously appreciative of the item. "Must have cost you a pretty penny, that's quite a nice hat indeed."
Her smile wavered around the edges however when she was forced to pay attention to the smile he gave, noticing the strange tone to his words at last. Now, she didn't spook easily, but she was starting to think a little more caution on her part would be a good idea. He was rather... big.. and just because he was handsome, didn't mean he wouldn't pummel her. Or eat her. Oh yes, she'd had many attempts at her life already, she was normally a quick learner.
"Lokijikuvair... wow. I'm glad you don't mind just Loki. No offence to the name, 'tis impressive by any standards but ah... a bit of a mouthful." She bowed slightly, dipping her head respectfully. There was something about that name... she could have sworn she'd heard it before... Hopefully he wasn't one of those crazy death cannibal... murdery types. Come to think of it, she couldn't place just what he was. She'd been around her fair share of times and was plenty good at naming a type and often a rank, but his wasn't so easy. Was he even a magician of some sort or- SHIT. If he wasn't a magician of some sort that meant she could be in grave trouble if she didn't watch herself. A Puppet Master to be sure, was the only other she knew of who wore a hat like that. Why didn't she think of it sooner?! Well, at least if she ended up getting his fur ruffled over something she could possibly negotiate out of it with a service. Such as... director for a cast, yes, on days like today it was nice to be a rare find such as a director, to be sure.

Class wasn't exactly something that separated others, to him, and bloodlines weren't much of importance either for he came from the most renowned one there was. And arrogance was something he had plenty of, and it had been challenged before and he'd proven himself worthy of being an arrogant child and oh how he wanted to meet Jaelin again, it had been quite awhile since he'd seen his crusader half sibling, what had time done to the boy? Not exactly the time to be musing over past encounters his attention shifted fully back onto the smaller presence here.
He moved forward slowly, curling his body ever so slightly to make a wide half circle around her, flicking his tufted tail forward to run it across her chest. If she chose not to move and allow this the tips of several of those black spines would surely graze her, his touch light enough not to cut. His intentions were not ill in nature, or she would have known by now. "I know not of illusions my dear." He tilted his head down, pressing it forward to whisper in her. "I know tricks of the mind."
Swishing his tail back around, curling it slightly to his other side, his smile softening. "Actually didn't cost me a thing. I played all the right cards for it." Ah yes, she had stroked his ego a bit for he cherished his hat. White was just so, wonderful and uncommon and he made it a point to keep his prized possession the shade of fresh snow.
"Care to show me a trick? As you guessed, I'm rather bored." That smirk returned, he had reasons for everything he did, this included.

The circle of his body made her go very, very still, but she was careful not to feel fear, in case he could feel or smell it the way some could. She was neutral, positively neutral in every way she could be, and watching him out of careful, falsely-lidded eyes. She played the bored youngling, but was streetwise beyond her years. Getting out of sticky situations or avoiding them were usually two specialties of hers.
"Tricks of the mind? That sounds similar enough... Maybe we could, ah, compare?" The entertained, curious lilt returned to her voice, more confident now seeing that they had something in common. At least, it was a small thing to bind with, but if there was anything they could offer each other, she was certainly interested. She strived for fresh, new exciting knowledge, new skills and tricks. Of anything, though, she hadn't had much experience in these 'games of the mind'.
"Your talent must then make me look like a fool." She chuckled aloud, casting a few more polite glances at the impressive top hat before returning her eyes to watch his expression. She could tell that he was proud of this possession, and it was good information to keep for later. Although, she should have predicted that one with arrogance such as his would appreciate such compliments. Learning, still learning.
"A trick, hmm? Well, I suppose I can try to pull out something special then..." She did a lot of free-standing magic, no assistance involved, just very good skill. She was born with it, after all. With a flick of her wrist towards a couple moving quickly along the sidewalk a few yards away, she commanded a serpentine from within the young female's body to come forth through her mouth, trailing with it her inner organs not at all unlike the magical cloth stunt, where the cloth appears from nowhere and stretched out in a line of tied colour. But this line did end, the organs seeming to change shape and turn into extensions of the snake's own body. The empty shell of the human fell to the ground just as she turned back to the male in front of her.
Her laughter was merry and the look on her face was of surprise. "Well, that wasn't exactly what I'd been going for, but my wild magic is still a little... ahem... unpredictable. We should probably move along as that male will probably attract a crowd and officers in no time. Sorry about that." She shrugged apologetically and let the wand hang limp at her side, wondering idly where her organ snake got off to... often her creations didn't just dissapear and it was best to find and destroy them at some point. She wasn't really into mindless killing, but for the sake of others and her magic, she had come to accept certain responsibilities.

(( My apologies if this is bad, I haven't' slept yet and I've been up since yesterday cause I work grave yards with day shifts mixed in so some days I don't sleep, lol. So advanced apologies. =3 )) As he watched he trick an amused undertone found it's way to his maw, taking pleasure in the sight before him, he'd seen far more gruesome things so this wasn't anything that would phase him at all. He was, however, not well versed in how a Magician type worked and he was curious and didn't deem this youngster as much of a threat so he decided to let curiosity get the better of him. Insanity and Annihilation, when mixed, seemed to dull the sharpness of each, or at least in him, the resulting Pandemonium. Rounded auditories found their way forward at her words, bringing him from his musings. Yes, well, it was rather dull here anyhow.
He glanced back at the gathering humans and stifled a laugh, pathetic they were, letting something so menial trouble them so. So one of them died mysteriously? Get over it, move on, end of story.
Then he peered back down at her. Shall we away then? And without waiting for a response the muscles in his limbs tensed and he sprang forward, heading for some foliage, hoping she'd follow. When boredom struck he could be nothing more then an overgrown bebe ... depending on the day.

She could tell he wasn't threated by her, and her ego was not at all bruised by this. In fact, it was relieving, because if he didn't find her a threat, he would have no need to do anything unkind to her. Though, she still had no clue what type he was, so it was fair enough to assume at any moment he could turn around and try to eat her. She watched as the human authorities quickly made their way to the scene. They were always so prompt about investigating murders, but they never seemed to get any better at preventing them.
"I would agree with that statement, sir." She smiled that same mystical and happy-go-lucky smile, though it was edged with a cold mirth, she had no qualms about killing. That femme was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and her mate would move on. It was an emotionless way of thinking, but one she'd gotten accustomed to. After all, she was just barely starting to consider the act of producing offspring. Soon she would be fully grown so she had to accept it at some point. But she wouldn't ever admit depending on another, no, she would breed and move on, to be sure.
"Indeed." She watched the work of his powerful form as it seemed to dance into the air and away into the bushes. Poetry in motion, come to think of it, his design was particularily... beautiful. Perhaps then he was more of the music or art side and less of the murderous? She'd met quite a symphony once, she had been rather nice. Once again, best not to assume the most favourable outcome. She lept in after the last flicker of tail, landing soundly beside him.
"Pardon me if this is too rude, but ah... what type are you exactly? I've come to create quite a mental list being of the streets I've seen and met many, but you are nothing I recognise." She tried to make it sound like mere curiosity, after all, surely he would look down on her for being worried in the presence of a stranger such as himself. Or perhaps that was simply her mind playing him out to be fearless. Was he? Well, either way, it wasn't like she was in the position to have such fearlessness. She was no Puppet Master, only a Director. And though that gave her comfort some days, she had to remember that Directors were a competitive type, being so sought after, and she'd had more than one attempt at eliminating her from the competition. There simply weren't enough Casts available lately. How sad.

He didn't even have to turn and look back to see if she'd followed him, he'd heard those light paw steps and the slight rustle of brush as she passed. Good, she hadn't injured his ego, which could turn into a fatal mistake depending on the date, time and direction the wind blew. It was, in generally, a good idea to be kind to something that was large and spiky for they generally had a myriad of things lined up in their minds that they -could- do to build themselves back up.
But it looked as if she wouldn't discover such things this eve as she knew how to play her cards correctly. This was something he mused over momentarily before her voice drifted to rounded auditories. Her question was one that he didn't get asked often. Most Euclides he came across were older, and to proud to admit that they hadn't a clue what he was. Most guessed at Insanity, as his markings were closest to theirs, but they were only partially right, in a way. He was an interesting combination for sure.
That trademark grin spread over his maw once more as he turned his head, resting his gaze upon her form. "You're the first to ever ask me that, smart girl." He hated those who merely assumed things, that was a deadly trait, far worse then plain ignorance. "I am of a type that I've yet to see nor hear another of, I am a Pandemonium." He loved the way that word just rolled off his tongue, it was such a delightful title, much like Puppet Master. He was born a Director, and still held onto that competitive spirit, but the title had left a bad taste in his mouth. He had believed that his type had meant he was for bigger and better things then his mutt siblings. Something that still clung to his mind.

He seemed amused, or perhaps... pleased? She had felt slightly embarassed asking outright, but to be honest, she had no idea. Unlike most, when piecing a mystery together she never settled for 'close enough', if something wasn't dead on, it simply didn't fit, and therefore she'd have to dig deeper. This was the case with the male before her, oh she could guess many a type that looked close to him, but surely if he were rare as she suspected he would be proud to be unrecognized, uncommon.
Pandemonium? She'd never even heard of it. But he wouldn't be lying, as it would make sense that a type she'd never seen could only be a type she'd never heard of either. "Pandemonium, the only one. Hmmm... impressive!" She seemed generally excited at this, her tail flicking back and forth as her mind worked quickly. She would have to create a mental file for him, in case more of his kind started popping up. But she was sure he was rare for a reason, hopefully his was not a competitive type that existed with the purpose in mind to be the only one. Well, not that it affected her, she was a Magician.
Deciding to leave it at that, she found another topic of interest. "Well Loki, what do you do for entertainment?" She sat her rear down and raised a paw to adjust her top hat, pleasant smile ever in place, an intrigued look in her eyes. For in fact, this male was intriguing, and were she just a smidgen older, she might have noticed how physically alluring he was, even more than his personality. But instead she could only fathom one word to use when describing him, and it was 'impressive'. For everything about him seemed to demand respect, even awe. Her own smaller form seemed terribly inadequate suddenly, but she didn't think on it for long.
