Laekubi's eyes flashed dangerously. Almost as if a string had snapped somewhere, she became instantly calm. Sweet and still as honey. It was unnerving.

"No. I am not a cannibal. I do not eat my own kind. I eat humans. And they, as much as they might think otherwise, are not Euclides. You eat your own kind. Therefore, you are a cannibal. You see?"

She spoke as if she was speaking to a small cub, talking down to the fiesty canine, pulling her lips back in a mocking smile. The arrival of his little creature did nothing for her disposition. She shed her calmness like a snake would its old skin.

"Really? And I fail to see why either your opinion or your name should matter to me."

She stopped walking around and stood right in front of her and ready to jump and attack but didn't show it.

Laekubi snarled. This youngling dared speak to her with such venom in her voice? And protecting a dim-witted cannibal, no less? The hackles on her neck rose with rage. This would not be acceptable. She lunged quickly for the smaller one's throat, though danced around her at the last moment. It was more a show of what she was capable of than anything else.

"As much as I would adore to continue this conversation, I will not accept your pathetic attempts to conceal the fact that you are nothing more than a putrid cannibal's plaything. And you DARE suggest that I know nothing of cannibals! That I have never had an experience with one. You may call me whatever you wish, but know this: you will regret it."

She snickred and then Craver continued forward exiting through the smog of the graveyard.
