Sie hopped slowly around the tall grasses of The Prairie. There was nothing to do and she was slowly growing sadder. A soft playful breeze picked up blowing the grasses around making them wave a friendly hello to all that passed. “Why is everything so happy.” She muttered to her self, for she had never learned the joy of being alone to think and enjoy life. “Anyone around?” she calls

Kala stepped through the tall grasses of the Prairies, her head low and a gloomy look in her smoky gray eyes. Another dead end...just like all the others. Why did she keep torturing herself like this? Most of the Shamans she encountered scoffed her. How could such a magically crippled Hendunu become a Shaman? And all the rumors she chased for rare artifacts that lifted magical abilities...they were always just that, rumors. Nothing was solid, reliable, and the weight of it all was unbearable sometimes. The feeling of the wind blowing through her tri-colored coat was a relieving one, and for a moment Zitkalasa allowed herself to stand in a reserved sort of peace. Just enjoy the wind, She told herself. we can't give up now... But a small break will help to mend the hope that was broken. A smile appeared on her muzzle and Kala began to strike out across the plains once more. She'd go home to the forest, find Gudahaei and they could practice improving their magic together. Kala could go questing anytime. Rumors rarely moved, especially when they were false ones. Suddenly, a voice cracked through her thoughts, causing a soft gasp to lift from her muzzle as her gaze flashed upward to fall upon the rain Lapine. The young Ash smiled tentatively, but she did not move to further approach the Lapine. "I am here. Are you in need of something?"Zitkalasa: 3

Sie swiveled her ears around as Kala’s voice called over to her in the wind. “Hi, I’m Sie.” She says turning towards her. “Just looking for someone to hang around with to go exploring with. Who are you?” Sie asks hoping forward a bit to see Kala a bit more clearly. She smiled softly and unsurely because smiling was not one of the things she did a lot. “So whatcha up to?” she asks

Kala perked her ears forward, moving slowly through the wind-swept fields. Her tail was wagging slowly, thoughtfully. She wasn't exactly the most social creature out there, but this Sie appeared to be just that. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Sie. I am Zitkalasa, a Pioneer of the Ash type."The canine dipped her head slowly in greeting, coming to a restless halt before the Rain Lapine. Why was she talking to a stranger like this? She should be heading home... "I was just returning home to my family." She glanced out in the direction of the canyons with a heavy sigh before turning her attention to Sie. "I had gone away to speak with a Shaman, but he gave me no peace of mind."But that was the story of all her endeavors. Never any peace of mind. Never any proof that she'd be able to alter this limitation. It was a haunting failure...but she was young still. Her magic had room to improve as she aged. Perhaps it would unlock upon the coming of age? She could only hope...and, until she could prove that the case, she would continue on her quest. If anything, she'd be twice as powerful in the end if she could obtain her artifact and unlock her abilities. "I suppose, though...if you are in need of company, I could stay and chat a while. I'm in no rush to return home."It was hard to believe Kala was just a child. Especially after she returned from a failed lead, burdened by failures one so young should not have had to experience. If the child minded, or even noticed for that matter, she did not make any acknowledgment of her loss. Zitkalasa: 4

((Sorry about the short posts))
Sie stood watching the young one with interest. “Well if you have to be heading home…” she said but stopped short to see what else Kala had to say. “Is there anyway I could help you find what your looking for?” she asked. She might only be a guard of caravans but she loved exploring things. Sie smiled down at the young ash defore hopping that she may be of some help.

Kala shook her head sympathetically and then glanced toward the cloud-blanketed sky above. "I am afraid not." The Ash Canine looked over at the Nindian with a sad sort of smile. "I am looking for a artifact which may help me overcome my crippled magic abilities...or a Shaman which may be able to teach me the arts."The Hendunu sighed heavily. What dreams she had! Even she knew that they were quite unlikely, but she couldn't stop hoping. How could one ever resign themselves to a life without hope for betting one's self? Her tail swayed slowly from side to side, thoughtful and distant before she abruptly snapped her attention back to the Lapine. "I'm sorry." The young female finally allowed herself to perk up, her lovely ears tilting toward the Lapine as her tail swayed more prominently. "There is not much anyone can do for me, unless they have heard of a Shaman or said artifacts, but I am quite willing to spend the afternoon with you. It would be nice to relieve my thoughts of such heavy things."Zitkalasa: 6

Sie smiled happaly as she listened to her new friend. "Well um i do know a Shaman, Let me see if she is around." she says looking at Kala. "Mind you she might not be much help bet we can see." she says she loked around then turned towards Kala smiling. "Of course if you just want to hangout we can do that." she smiles sudden;t her ears perk to here somthing coming towards them. "Great here comes Iehae." she pouts as Iehae comes closer "Hay Sie, didn't Kaligh say we needed to stay close to eachother huh, didn't she." iehae says licking sie's face playfully. She was a shaman that was for sure but she didn't show off her talents. "Oh i, I'm Iehae. She says turning toward kala

Kala flicked her tail lazily, her head cocked to the side in thought. Would she like to meet her Shaman friend? Most said they couldn't help...but anything was better than nothing. Her tail began to quickly sway from side to side, her joy becomming increasingly evident. "Sure!"The approach of another bring Kala's swishing tail to an abrupt halt. She wasn't exactly fond of strangers to begin with, let alone too...but she'd be brave and not run. As the Shaman introduced herself, Kala bowed low and blushed. It was so humbling to stand before a full fledged Shaman and to know that she was nothing more than a simple Hendunu Pioneer. She would have given so much to be a Shaman like Iehae...so much. "It's a pleasure to meet you Shaman Iehae." She lifted herself slightly and smiled meekly. "I am Kalieska...Hendunu Pioneer."Zitkalasa: 7
