Well... I came to look at my batsnake and wonder.... what does he need? Do undead need to eat? Do they need shelter? Is there any reason for him to have a job, or motivation beyond the habit of life to take responsibility?
Does anything, in the end, keep him from just... drifting about and doing whatever makes him happy?

He doesn't need to eat and temperature won't effect him, so essentially, he could run around naked just as comfortably in Eneis as he could Turacha. He doesn't need shelter, unless he really wants a place to keep his stuff.
If he has stuff. Stuff that would be "wow, this is shiny/cool/rare/useful", I think I want it. Being a ghost, he doesn't need anything. If he wanted a job, it would be for his own personal enjoyment, or to be able to collect those objects he thought were "shiny/cool/rare/useful." He has no physical needs that need to be met.
While he can't be harmed physically, the undead aren't immune to magical/psionic abilities, so there is also that to think about, if he's worried about his ghostly self being damaged, harmed, or trapped. There will be people with the ability to put him in his place if he chooses to break laws.

*wobbles thoughtfully*
Thank you Memluff! He seems the pensive sort, so I think I'll go with my plan to put him in Vlaj's base and give him an easy/useful duty in exchange for the shelter.
