Concept.....[/u]
[/li][li] The cool cat above is looking for some tunes. Like any good euclides he's got a taste for music, but he just can't seem to find that one good song that suits him best.
[/li][li] For this contest you'll be tracking down songs that best fit the character above. They should be some kind of indicator of his personality, or perhaps his history and/or occupation.
[/li][li] Try to put a lot of thought into the songs you pick, and don't be stingy when filling out the form. The best, most suitable song will win the serval above.
[/li][li] hint: This smooth cat has a favorite genre, too. Maybe a song best fitting his soulful self would tip the scales in your favor?
[/li][li]hint: What big ears he has! Make sure you pick a good quality song, or he won't want to listen to it. Smooth cat isn't too big on the mainstream.

Why you chose this song: This serval is clearly a smooth operator. He likes his music as cool and smooth as his own bad self. I can see him sitting and listening to good ol' classics like Bobby Darin, Sammy Davis Jr., and Frank Sinatra and classic jazz/blues. Those days were just so much classier, along with its music. This song in particular resonates with this boy. Only these old masters could make murder sound so SEXY.

This song is the soundtrack to his life. He walks with his head held high and a certain amount of swagger to his strut. Though, as much as he prides himself as being a hot shot, especially with the women, he prides himself at being able to fly under the radar when the situation warrants it. He loves the thrill of a good con and doesn't feel the need to make all his money through legitimate means. He's a cool cat.

Why you chose this song: I thought this song (while I don't know too much 'smooth' music right now due to my current love for metal), was pretty close to what you were asking for even if it doesn't fit exactly. Being Blues, it's pretty smooth. It's got some sort of subliminal and also canon violence in it, perfect for a violence feline. And it's pretty much the most non-mainstream thing I listen to, seeing as I originally came across this band in a bar I often frequent, and have only EVER heard of them or seen them there. They give a truely wonderful performance.

This song definately speaks to someone who has gone mad with love, either of a woman, maybe the bottle (as it seems most blues song refer to the bottle as a woman who clouds their judgement), or some sort of ideal...it doesn't have to be a physical being. I can imagine this guy sitting back and playing it cool at a bar...but due to his nature...I can also see him getting extremely violent when to much whiskey gets in his system...

Why you chose this song:

I chose this song because if there’s anything this cat likes to do, it’s hanging out at a bar where the drinks are cheap and the music’s loud. He’s a suave, charismatic creature who doesn’t bat an eye at immodest behavior, although he himself is more mischievous that outright dangerous. However, he is not immune to his type, and when denied something he wants, he can quickly go from sarcastic to downright cruel. While brute force is not his forte, he knows enough people in the seedy underground clubs to make someone’s life miserable. He’s shameless as well – nothing is off limits when he talks – and all too often he gives in to his many vices.

I think this song is perfect for him not only because I see him spending long nights in sleazy swing clubs, but also because the lyrics describe him perfectly. For instance, the line “Now you sailors know/Where your women come for love;” not only do I picture this boy to be a womanizer, but it also illustrates his personality as a whole. He takes, never gives. Plus, “In my veins hot music ran” is just the definition of cool.
