Grand Re-Opening
Welcome to the Murdon Legacy, Version 4.0: Planet Zar. The first complete reboot of the "euclides theatre" RPG/Cyberpet game.
New members should check out the Joining Guide before filling out their application. There's quite a bit of information, even a lot for the old members, so questions are to be expected. Feel free to post them here, or on the Help! board in the OoC section.
We've got seven events open during the G.O festival, which you can check out here.
In-character shops won't be stocked until February first, which gives everyone lots of time to start roleplaying and gathering game tokens.
I hope you all enjoy the overhaul, old and new alike. C: It was tons of fun to set up, and I'm super excited to get back into the ML.
We are currently in beta-mode, though, so feedback is welcome and will help me decide what features stay, go, or adjust to fit my member's preferences. I'll be working primarily on the encylopedia for the next few weeks, as well as transferring guild skills from my notebook to the website (html coding, ugh!). There are a couple more shops that need to be set up (and the Turachian armory needs to be stocked, ha!), as there will eventually be at least one shop in each province.
Humans and hybrids (including the official opening of Kerame, the hidden city) will be implimented in late february to mid-march, so expect some neat events focusing on them in the next couple of months.
We'll also be having a small game for Valentine's day, for a chance to earn that holiday's limited edition item. Whoo! Also, those who nabbed the "odd turkey feather" should now add it (and the recently added image) to their inventory.
^ That is now my official opening date.
I have very little work left to do on the website, and I've got all the item images completed (I'm just fiddling with transparency right now).
There's going to be a lot of room for expansion, and the first couple months will put us into a sort of....beta version. But role-playing, events, games, and so on will all be ready to go. Hurrah! =D
Also, people who previously volunteered for editting, I'll be contacting you this upcoming weekend. Thanks so much for the offer to help.
The "opening events" for Jan 28 have also been worked on. It'll be a mini-festival of sorts. Hoo-ha!
Very excited, guys. Very, very excited.
And if you all direct your eyes to my (temporary) forum banner, you can get a sneak peek at the setting, and one of the new defore types! There aren't more types than in the previous version. I believe I have around 30 types for each species, some of the old, some new. "Retired" old types are now only available through breeding, to make some of them extra special.
