For some of the new, upcoming information, here's a few little "sneak peeks." =D Enjoy.
TRAVEL:
Airships: Similar to small blimps or hot air balloons in appearance, these airships are controlled by steam powered motors and filled with helium gases to make them float. The main balloon is attached to a large deck, where crew and visitors reside. Airships can travel at significant speeds, but require heat and water in order to do so. Direction is controlled by the motors. Airships are the main form of long-distance travel available to Izarn-residents.
Crawlers: Mechanical vehicles that are vaguely reminiscent of a big cat in appearance. These long, slinky vehicles are built in various sizes to accommodate from two people, to up to twenty. They run entirely on steam, which works a system of cogs and levers that pull its joints. Its four 'limbs' rotate 180%, moving in a fashion similar to swimming. Its 'legs' are short and triangular in build, with ridged sides that allow it to grip any terrain. Crawlers can travel across ice, sand, snow, and even scale extreme altitudes with no problem. To accommodate rides, its back is flat, and sports rails on either side of it to keep passengers in. The most expensive crawlers have an optional glass dome that rises up over the seating area to protect its riders from poor weather.
...enjoy! =D
Abominations are individuals who were born as artifacts, but have been corrupted. Twice as rare as regular artifacts, these individuals are sickly, mutated caricatures of their originally selves. They are mutated beyond recognition, and have equally corruptible personalities. They emanate fear and unease, which trickles onto everyone that comes near them.
Abominations, like artifacts, are not affected by psionic abilities of other LC, but unlike them, murdon cannot penetrate their minds either. Magical abilities of any species (LC, familiars, murdon, etc.) do not affect them in the least. But abominations do not have abilities of their own, other than this innate immunity.
Abominations are often ostracized from society.

As Izarn has no humans (or shouldn't have any humans), the ability to shapeshift into these forms has become irrelevant. No longer does this ability, or lack there of, determine an individuals birth rank in LC society. Shapeshifting is also no longer common to one sex or another. it is controlled by the 'marionette' gene, so named because of the infamous shape-shifting euclides rank. The marionette gene is recessive, and therefore appears much less commonly than those without shape-shifting powers.

Translated very roughly to "blessed insects." These were earth animals, typically insects and arachnids, who were blessed by murdon. They are sentient, slightly larger than normal (about a handswidth in length, regardless of their natural size). Natokua are created on an individual basis, they do not breed with one another, and will very rarely breed with non-sentient animals of the same species. Regardless, natokua can on spawn more natokua.
Natokua are created as bonds for an individual LC. They cannot exist without their bonds, and become extremely attached to them - whether or not they actually like them is a different matter all together.
Natokua are capable of telepathic speech with everyone, and have no language limitations. They can sense their bond's emotions from any distance, and may also be gifted with additional powers on an individual basis.

Tagon
Size: 2-3 feet in length, 10-15 inches at the shoulder
Clutch Size: 2-5 eggs
Diet: Insects, small animals, eggs
Abilities: Venomous fangs, supernatural speed, invisibility
Taming Difficulty: Moderate
Rarity: Very common
Tagon are small, lizard-like creatures, with long bodies and four delicate limbs. Their sport a crest of brightly colored feathers on their heads, which they can use to indicate their emotions. Tagon release a high-pitched scream when in distress, and can scuttle away at supernatural speeds. Their venom is highly toxic, causing temporary paralysis and possibly blindness if no antidote is taken.
While very shy and reclusive, tagon are actually a social species who live in large groups in the wild. Taming takes time and patience (and thick gloves!) but once these little ones have bonded, you've made a friend for life. They respond very well to food, and can become aggressively protective of their keepers.
Coloration:
Various shades of green with brightly colored mottling. Their undersides are yellowish to white.

Humans? Here? In space? Near Zar? Yeah, we're surprised to...because the murdon didn't bring any with them when they returned. Even Amunuku, whose love for humans surpasses all things, thought it best to leave them in their own environment to flourish is peace and safety now that the euclide were gone. So why are they appearing on Izarn?
A select few murdon are working on the radar to create a 'human trade' for the euclide. Zooming back and forth from Zar to Earth to collect specimens and sell them a high black-market prices to the euclide - for them to use as food, puppets, or whatever else they might please. Who knows.
