Starting a Faction

R U L E S

● You must have recruited the minimum number of members in order to start a faction thread.

● Once you have enough members, you must REGISTER your faction, using the form located in the Faction Registry thread.

● Once your faction has been approved and registered, you MUST create your official faction thread.

● This faction thread is used to keep track of members, ideologies, events within the faction, allies, enemies, and offspring.

● A faction cannot have members of different species (apart from defore-hybrids). They must be all amuni (a church), all defore (a caravan), or all euclide (a cast).

● Defore hybrids may join any faction so long as they are 50% of the original faction species. (eg. A defore-amuni may join a church or a caravan, but not a cast).

● Euclides-Amuni hybrids cannot join or form factions.

● Each faction can only consist of individuals who live in the same province. As each faction has a "home base" (or even a living establishment for all members), it is very, very difficult for an individual living in Turacha to try and keep up with faction-proceedings in Eneis!

● It is the responsibility of the faction founder(s) to keep up with events and updating member lists on their faction thread.

● A character cannot be part of more than one faction at a time. They may, of course, quit their faction to rejoin a new one, but need to alert their current faction leaders that they are doing so.

● The "Faction Records" board is for faction threads and registrations only. Recruitment and advertising should be done in the "plotting" board.

● AMUNI

S E T - U P

All factions are posted here, in a thread, on the ML forum. They are not web-page based, and shouldn't be. This is to keep things organized for the ML, and it allows members to view current factions easily. You want members in your factions, don't you?

Faction threads must follow a particular guide-line when setting up. They may be decorated however the founder wishes, using banners, images, alternative texts, and so forth, or left plain.

POST 1
- Includes the faction's name (eg. Caravan of Whistling Wind)
- States whether the faction is currently seeking members
- Summarizes the basic ideology or purpose of the faction (eg. Church of the Angry Amuni's purpose is to eliminate all euclides by using SUPAH-SAIAN-PUNCH-FORCE in the FACE).

POST 2
- Is a deeper explanation of the ideology, and includes future plans (and plots!) for this faction
- May include a brief history or introductory story and information about the faction
- Includes the type of members accepted (eg. The Dark Cast of Fury is looking for felines only, preferably of darker-colors).
- Includes any requirements or rules new faction members will need to abide by, once they've joined (eg. Members of the Church of Pink Unicorns can only wear pink clothing!)

POST 3
- Lists the members and their ranks, including a link back to each individual member's page
- Lists offspring produced by faction members while they were part of this faction. Offspring produced prior to joining the faction should not be listed. Links to offspring's pages are required.

POST 4
- Lists the allies and enemies of the faction.
