Sleep. Sleep lots. Lie down, think of happy things. That's what I did on my first ride, but then again, I enjoyed flying. Sure I was nervous as living christ the first time because every bit of turbulance was 'OMFG I'M GONNA DIE!!!' but now I'm a little more... mellow about everything heh.
Tigs has spent 7 hours on a flight to Vancouver, only to wait to board a 17 hour flight to Taipei, where we Luckily got to stay overnight in an awesome golf resort type thing, to get up in the morning, and have another 9 ish hour flight to Bali, Indonesia. That would be my longest trip ^^

My daddy's a commercial pilot. The first time I was on a plane, I wasn't even <i>born</i> yet. So I'm perfectly comfortable with planes, as long as I'm not the one flying it, though I've done that too. ^^;; I'm slightly afraid of heights, but only under certain circumstances. Otherwise I love them.
Oh come on, taking off and landing are the best parts! Especially take off. You can hear the engines roar, and feel gravity pushing you back into your seat (always makes my back feel awesome), and just that sheer amount of power pushing you forward until BAM! You're in the air, breaking away from the Earth's grip into the freedom of the skies... *sighs* Now I wanna go flying. Maybe I'll see if dad can take me up to the gliderport over the coming week, though I'm gonna be doing shopping for cosplay then...

Yay! I lived through my flight!
But we had some computer troubles, hence my little hiatus. All is fixed now. Commissions and contest should be ready within the week (hopefully x.X; friends and relatives aren't giving me a lot of time to work on things.)
