Apologies

I am so sorry that I haven't posted any pick-ups lately. God, I feel terrible. I have so much planned for this month and I haven't gotten around to any of it.

Anyway, I'm posting this apology because a friend of mine put my writing into perspective for me. I was trying to finish a chapter a day, at 4000 words each, with a general word count goal of 100,000 words. To put it simply, I was tryingto write a novel in 25 days. Yikes.

Now that I've driven that insanity from my mind, I've made some more non-writing freetime for myself, and I PROMISE that I'll finish commission sketches, trades, breedings, etc. this weekend, and post the information for the mini-story.

Thank-you all ever so much for putting up with me the past few weeks. I realize I've been terribly distant and inactive. Writing, it steals my soul...and my time.

I understand completely. ^_^ I know what it's like to get so utterly caught up in one thing to the exclusion of all else, so don't feel bad that it's happened to you too. It'll all work out!

Hehe I figured the writing was taking over :3 as long as you enjoy it, I personally don't mind waiting a month for pickups XDD. And of course... as long as you post it for us curious people to see <3

Wowie, that's a lot! XD I know with NaNoWriMo they want you to write 50,000 words in a month and many people have trouble with that, much less a goal of 100,000. Should be a good-sized novel-type story when you eventually finish, though. ^_^ Good luck with that, and don't worry about taking your time. It's your time after all. <3

I'm trying to stick to 2000 words a day now. Ease off my workload and give me a bit more time to do other things. I've been having a hell of a lot of trouble with the story as well x.x; Scrapped 12,000 words because I wrote a character too young.

I have villains now, so it's...much better. <3 The Dickens and the Seuss have become my favorite pair to write, by far. I also have a head from which to bounce ideas off of.

But...thank-you all for understanding. I will get this stuff done for you for the weekend.

Family thing yesterday. Everything is finished, though, so I'll be scanning and stating later tonight. The Mini-Story may or may not be completed today, but I'll try to get it done.

Family things can take up a lot of time. *nodnod* Don't worry about delay - when they want to, family can suck up an entire day and you stand there dazed, wondering where it all went.

Aww, poor Mem. I hate it when I get dragged into things that I don't even really want to be a part of (I love my family but, those huge get-togethers? Blehhhh T__T)
