Gygax Contest

Alright, since I'm so pleased to have the common types done and being only a few blurbs from being ready to submit my site to Memz.... I offer a contest.

Who: This contest is open to everyone with no prerequisites! Please- join in the fun. Not only will there be prizes, but you're helping Fera out in completing her long-term goal of getting the Gygi up and going!
What: I'm looking for Colors and Traits for my Uncommon Gygi types. The goal is to see if we can get them completed!
Where: Just post your entries here in replies!
When: For the rest of the afternoon, and possibly as late as tomorrow morning. I'll post a warning in the thread an hour or two before I close it so that you have some fair time to fill out any extra submissions, and then after posting the contest closed, I'll go through and choose from the submissions and assign points.
Why: Out of the goodness of your heart, of course! (Nevermind that everyone who contributes will get at least a small prize for helping.)
How: When it comes to traits, what you're listing is personality traits. Try to come up with at least four, though you can submit more. The purpose of the traits is to give people who get gygax of that type an idea of the personality that they should have. Now- submitting colors has a little more to it. Not only do I want a notion or two for the base fur color of the gygax, but I need thoughts as to what shape or type of markings they'll have- as well as the colors of those markings. You can also suggest common mutations for the type, as gygax are going to have mutations be something of a common thing.

- A * in front means that a color/pattern has been accepted for the type already.
- A * behind means that a set of traits has been accepted for the type already. On to it!

Prizes: Since I'm sure you all want to know what's in it for you- here's how it works. Each accepted submission you make earns you not one, but three points. As I have a bit of time to sit back and think about it, I'll list what you can redeem them for. This goes from custom/semi-custom/random gygi to such things as tickets to bump an ordered gygi to a Rare types, Title rank, or to convert them to patchworks. There will likely also be tickets for such things as breedings. Even if I accept none of your submissions, you will get some sort of prize.

Siren- Light yellow blending into purple with whispy blue markings around the eyes, like the edge of a decorative mask or makeup, long matching lines going down the neck on either side and along the body in the same style as the eye decoration.

Pegasus- Pure white with light blue spotting ocassionaly only on the body, tend to be reserved and a little shy, peaceful and intelligent with a playful side.

Satyr- Pure brown with sapphire blue and deep green rings around the face, as well as swirling bands around the legs. Double horns are a common mutation to this breed, as well as rear hooves. Tricksters by nature, their attitude can be described as 'impish', though certain usually older Satyr types tend to be more interested in playing whimsical instruments in song to nature than interacting with others.

*Manticore - personality - skilled hunter, large appetite, clever, stolid
Merling - color/pattern - Back half is in a different color than front half, might have mutations such as scaled hindquarters or webbing. Personality - mischievous, seductive, calm, fun-loving
Myth - color/pattern - usually white/cream like the pages of a book, with dark banding, swirls, or "text" on their bodies; oftentimes bare faint patches of markings from other types as they identify with the myths that each type embodies. personality - Spacey/daydreamers, creative, good imaginations, love to tell stories, can sometimes harbor delusions about certain imaginary things being real
*Orc - personality - violent, aggressive, somewhat dim-witted except in rare cases, in which case they are deadly hunters
Pegasus - colors - natural horse colorations such as palamino or roan - personality - airheaded and vain, or righteous and vain. obsessed with freedom and claustrophobic.
Satyr - colors - hindquarters are natural horse colors and patterns, front half can be any color and is usually bright and attention-getting - personality - horny, obsessed with sex, loves innuendo, also somewhat immature in that they love to play games, be those games physical or mental
Siren* - colors - back half and/or legs are usually blue, green, or red, occasionally black; front half is usually a lighter or darker version of the back half's coloration. elaborate, seductive swirls and spirals are common. may have scales/webbing or a long, flowing mane
*Skeleton - personality - into the occult, resilient, often greatly obsessed with/in need of something, be it food, wealth, love, etc. as they have a feeling of not being "complete"
Spell - colors - Black, white, or dark blue with splashes of bright, radioactive-looking color, oftentimes reds, purples, greens, or golds.
Can have scrawling, mystical inscriptions carved into their flesh or naturally growing into their fur, be it runic or actual writing. personality - love the magical arts, and tend to specialize in a certain art such as necromancy, pyromancy, geomancy, etc; esoteric, ritualistic, and a tad bit odd in the head.
Treasure - colors - golds, silvers, reds, blues -- resemble precious and semi-precious metals and gems. however, can also be based off of non-wealth treasures, such as books, a loved one, etc. Some have patches of fur missing where an underlying layer of the precious material they represent is showing through. personality - hoarding, greedy, sentimental, obsessed with a certain object that they feel compelled to safeguard or collect. however, can also have an antithetic personality and be extremely charitable and kind -- their individual natures really depend on what their "treasure" is. for example, a treasure based on gold would probably be very vain and greedy, while a treasure based on books would be very literary, knowledgeable, and possibly antisocial.
