Introduction[/u]
You find yourself standing in front of a small, curtained booth. Behind the curtain you can see only the silhouette of a...is that a human? Or something else? You can't tell, but the scent of strange chemicals and smoke is thick in the air, and it makes you uneasy. Cupping your nose and mouth in one hand, you step toward the booth.
"Hello?"
The figure behind the curtain straightens suddenly, and you see a flash of cloth as it whips something around its shoulders. Suddenly the curtain parts, and the person - at least you think he's human, but his face is shrouded by a hood, and his form is bent - shuffles out to greet you. You see a twist of cracked, scaly lips, and the man bobs his head in greeting.
"You're here for the exp- contest, correct?"
You nod your head. You heard there was some rare and valuable prizes to be won, and you didn't want to miss out.
"Good, good," the man's voice is but a hiss on the air. From under his cloak he retrieves a scroll of parchment, holding it out toward you. You notice with a cringe that his hands are covered with gray bandages, stained pink from...from something.
You snatch the scroll quickly.
"For each question you answer correctly, you will be given five tokens, which you may spend in my la- shop...and we'll see what sort of prize we may cook up for you."
Explanation[/u]
This contest will work much like custom grab-bags. The tokens you win from your correct answers will go toward an array of ingredients. You will not be told what each ingredient does, but you'll get some clue from the item itself.
Each person who takes part (and answers at least one riddle correctly) will win ONE LC. The only choice you have from this is the species (Amuni, Defore, Euclides) and Gender.
I'll give you all a heads up and say that these are not going to end up being your average LC.
Riddles[/u]
I. What is so fragile that when you say its name you break it?
II. Until I am measured, I am not known. Yet how you miss me, When I have flown. What am I?
III. Poke your fingers in my eyes and I will open wide my jaws. Linen cloth, quills, or paper, my greedy lust devours them all. What am I?

IX. I killed one fourth of mankind. Who am I?
X. What is greater than god, and more evil than the devil. The poor have it, and the rich want it.
You MUST PM all answers to Mem, with the subject RIDDLES. Capital letters and all.
