Hey everyone...I am both working on an essay...and working on a cast page for Xerxes. How do I do it? I don't know, I'm pretty much ADD XD;
Anyway...I'm having trouble coming up with a name for it...I'm not really thrilled with the idea of calling it Cast of 300 or something...cause...that was more Spartiany...and well...I want a more Persiany feel...so I'm tossing up between these two things.
Cast of the God King - Xerxes is refered to as the 'God King' in the movie, and historically, he was seen as the earthly embodiment of the Zorastirian God, like all kings of Persia. So in a way, it's fitting.
Cast of the Immortals - The 'immortals' was what Xerxes' "special forces" were called, said to be heavily demonic and near impossible, nay, completely impossible to kill. I figured this might also be a good name to show the 'power' of the cast.
So...votes anyone?
Also, as of right now, I have one or two female marionettes pinned down for this cast...but is anyone...not marionette...wanting to join? Of course I'm happy to roleplay it out, but as I'm making the pages, it might be nice to have some bulk in the 'members' section XD. While I do have those females, I'm still not putting them down on the confirmed list until they are reconfirmed XD;
What is Xerxes looking for in Members?
For his Marionettes...he is looking for extreme beauty and frailty. He's not much into the headstrong, 'I am woman, hear me roar' type. He likes being looked up to, so they can't think they are above him, or even equals. In his mind, everyone is below him, and none should act like this is not so.
Loyalty - extreme loyalty. He wants people that would put down their very lives for the cast, and for him. Any hint of treachery and you are out. His Marionettes are HIS...and no one can touch them. Infidelity is something taken very seriously.
Praise - He is CONVINCED he is a god, so you MUST treat him like one. You have to remember, he came from an aristrocratic family where he was treated like a god, and this quality is not going to change upon arriving in London.
Strength - Any men seeking to join the cast, and he does need men (not for anything breeding wise though), MUST be warriors at heart. These men will be able to breed to any of the females in the Cast, this is their gift for their servitude. They may not touch his select five Marionettes, though there will be many other Marionettes (because like Jiaro...I can't imagine he will only keep five) in which they can mate/pleasure themselves with. In return he asks for a force to be recond with.
Something to keep in mind - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't be upset if your euclide is not allowed to join the cast. Xerxes IS an ass and WILL say no to people, and it would be very OOC of me to not say no to the people he would say no to. He would hate if his cast was full of people he didn't approve of. So please don't blame me, blame his muse.
