For all that I hate having them- I'm proposing the addition of a rant board.
Rants are negative threads full of negative feelings, and while you may write one to get it out of your system or look for support- everyone who reads that thread gets touched by those negative feelings.
More and more I've been seeing them in the general forum, and it irritates me to see a good, clean (okay- maybe not clean), friendly enviroment like these boards dirtied by smears of hate, frustration, and anger. I know we all have problems and frustrations, but those things are better off told privately to friend, not broadcasted to tint everyone else's day with your negativity.
I suggest either a rule that bans rants and other threads posted purely to be negative.... or we conglomerate them all in one board so people don't click them expecting something insightful only to end up losing a good mood. I don't like reading rants myself, and I'd prefer they were in their own little place so I could avoid them altogether.
