And, of course, pregnancy, birthing, and the joy of receiving new (albeit very odd) babies often does wacky things to one's mind. Which, in turn, means it does wacky things to Mem's mind.

Especially when one's brain spider is the father of the litter.

I suppose you're all going "Get to the point!" now, as Mem does tend to enjoy rambling.

Right-ho. Well, due to Muse's recent giving birth (-ish) of a fine littler of spider-unicorn-dragonlings (aren't threesomes grand?), Mem's brain has exploded with some wonderful ideas.

Someone needs to tell Mem that she's NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE MORE ML BRANCHES!

Because she wants to. Rather profusely. Yerg, I say. Yerg.

First off, there has been very little interest in the Tolkienites and Rowlings. Mem (and FP) do love the lord of the rings though. So I have a compromise.

How would everyone feel about a Medieval setting?

Secondly, Mem has been all PIRATESYAY! And while sitting about finishing FP's commission, she came up with a rather fancy idea for a summer event (involving pirate!Euclide). Which brought her to the sudden realization that there are no water based roleplaying boards, thus the pirates would be rather saddened. They might even go mad. Which would be quite depressing, really.

Therefore, Mem would like to make a Pirate themed ML as well.

The number of legacy branches will not change. Mem will simply get rid of the Rowlings and Tolkienites, making them cosplays of Euclide/Amuni/Defore and the medieval based critters, and replace them with the medieval and pirate branches.

So...erm...who's up for that?

Hmm but i like the idea of doing the medieval setting, and pirates. Cause I think maybe the reason the Tolkienites and Rowlings have been not so popular, is because they are based off a main plot. That was based of movies/books, and if you never read the books or watched/understood the movies. The tolk/Rowl are very difficult to understand. Thats what I think though, might not be true ^^;;

Though rping pirates, and medival crits would be awesome!! Specially when PotC ish one of my favorite moviesXDXD And medival times has always interested me.
Though I have one question, if you got rid of the Tolf/rowlings what would happen to the crits that were already handed out? Just leave them paged and such kindof like the noulque or how ever it was spelt?

The rowlings will become cosplay Euclide/Amuni/Defore (I'll have to update their stats, of course).

The Tolkienites will become cosplay medieval-LC...which was the whole point of doing a medieval LC. I really just wanted my pirates, but I refused to give up LOTR in return.

Heh I like Tolkienites and such, but the movies confuse the hell outa me, and I am not much of a reader so that doesn't help either. But I know it has a good plot and everything^^;;
But I like what your planning on doing with them and such ^_^

I like the prospect of making generalized 'fantasy' rather than Tolkienites, since I know the series indirectly but I've never been a huge fan of the specific world. Also, if you do that, will it mean that the profusion of LotR boards will be deleted and/or some of them changed to suit fantasy settings? Since they seem to be little more than blocks in scrolling down to the bottom of the page at the moment. ^^

The Tolkienite/Rowling boards will be deleted, and new ones, more befitting of the Pirate/Medieval LC will be put up.

In fact, the old boards should be taken down tomorrow. The only reason I haven't gotten rid of them yet is because of the egg hunt. ^^;;

I know they're annoying X3 I don't like them either.
