A quick pattering of paws, the click of hind talons, she was in a hurry. Mulsej would have to catch up later; she wanted to get her talons on those bells! The Masquerade followed the human woman closely, the bells on her silly human skirt tinkling softly, the woman was constantly looking over her shoulder, frightened by the faint indiscernible sounds behind her. Dayobi continued onward, the pale greens and purples in her fur standing out in the lamplight as she passed, slinking in and out of the shadows, twining behind lampposts, eyes fixed on the human. Her own decorations, tiny metal grapes, clinked softly as she moved, blending into the sounds of the humans bells. Dayobi's mouth turned up ever so slightly at the edges of the beak. Purple scaled paws were placed gingerly in front of one another, claws extended. Those bells! They must be hers! Dayobi wriggled slightly with anticipation, some of her new followers were in need of adornment...that little Bibine, she would look so splendid in some belled pawrings! Clustered together to look like grapes, it would be perfect, just perfect... The human stumbled as she finally tried to break into a run, her fear overtaking her. Dayobi crouched, muscles coiled. "Not until I have those bells, dear..." She whispered

Katon lay sprawled lazily on the edge of a low roof, in the alleyways. Her left side lay curled up underneath her for warmth on this cold night, while her right dangled lifelessly from the edge. She would have looked exactly like a lioness, sleeping in a tree in Africa if not for the fact that her coloration made it very hard to see her as anything but a Euclides, that and well...her beak and spikes. She let out a little sigh, shifting her head so that the right side of her face looked up towards the sky. Her blank eye searched the stars for amusement. She was very bored. The humans had been particularly smart tonight. She hung around the alleyways, despite her vanity, to get a glimpse of entertainment. Any human who entered these areas basically begged to be ripped apart, and similarly to the Romans, her main sourse of entertainment came from violence. It was in her blood as a Annihilation/Sin mix after all. But not tonight, as said before, the humans were smart for once. She hadn't seen a human all day wander into these areas. She gave another hardy sigh before clambering to her feet. She supposed she should call it a night, and find a place much for suiting for her to lay her bones then this shady place. She was much to good to sleep in the Alleyways of all places. With a leap and a bound she found her four paws on the solid cobblestone ground, and she began troopsing off to wherever. There would have been a definate destination, but almost as soon as she had decided to leave, an interesting chase started heading her way. She could hear the jingling, the running, the paniced breathing of a woman escaping a hunter. Katon smirked, her eyes suddenly coming alive despite their soullessness. She turned in the cover of the shadows to watch the woman race towards her, unknowing that Katon lay in wait for her. Katon knew she should probably leave the woman alone, and let whichever lucky duck spotted her claim her. She was still much to small despite her teenage years beginning to end, to contend with any adult Euclide. But then again...she WAS the daughter or Jiaro. True, many could make that claim now adays...but it was true, and with his blood in her veins, she to would grow to be strong and formidible. Maybe not as much as he...but she had to start pushing her weight around at some point. She waited in the shadows...the woman grew closer, and the hunter became slightly more visible. Katon was still unable to make out much, but she didn't care. The only on in her sights right now was the woman herself. Patter patter, went her paniced feet and she came quickly forward. Like a concealed wire, Katon suddenly sprang, black claws fully visible and sparkling in the moonlight, grasping on to the womans legs through her jingling skirt as she tried to run passed. The woman let out a screach of complete and utter terror, absolutely unsuspecting of another attacker. Katon let out an amused cackle feeling the human's pained muscles flex and unflex around her dug in claws as she tried to escape her grasp. In a quick movement she flung herself towards the woman's face, sinking claws into the side of the womans face and using her beak much like a dagger, stabbed into the flesh of the woman's neck and dug around the wounds for vital pipes. The noises erupting from the woman's mouth were horrifying, gurgling and screaming and crying. Katon's mouth smirking all the while. She didn't like to get messy, but her annihilation side couldn't ignore the fact that it was enjoying the horrifying scene more then anything. Katondabi: 11 / 15

The woman’s movements were becoming sporadic, she was truly terrified, the feeling was delightful! Dayobi tucked her head a little, preparing to speed up, as the human feel; a good forty feet away. Confused, Dayobi slowed to a walk as she watched the human fall ahead of her, moving sedately; she picked her way over to the fallen creature and whatever had attacked her.
Slowing, he tried to catch a glimpse of who...or what had brought the woman down…did she need to signal Furl? But no.
She hid her surprise. A youngling? Hmmm...She hadn't expected one alone at this time of night, but as it was...
She approached cautiously; admiring the look of the youngster, a feline avian patchwork...now didn't that ring familiar..? She smirked and stepped forward, her feet moving deliberately over the cobblestones.
"Good evening, child. I see you have made a kill, might I join you?"
She settled on her haunches near the other Euclides. No need to guilt the child over the loss of her snack, there was plenty to eat at home if the need arose. She just needed those bells...
She arched her neck and brought a purple scaled paw up to her chest. "I am the Lady, Dayobi." She gazed down at the youngling. "And who might you be, my dear?"

The woman was dead. The reminence of life clung to her paleing face as the blood oozed out of her wounds, in the form of a horror struck scream. Katondabi picked idolly at the meaty wound she had created on the womans neck, much like a raven might pick at the carcas of a dead rodent. She delighted in the taste. It had been a long time since she had actually made a kill herself, as she didn't really like to get her paws dirty. In fact this might have only been the second or third time. She normally just stole from other younglings/young adults such as herself. Her face glew with self accomplishment. But she was not left alone with her kill for long. She knew the original hunter would be upon her soon, and then the real fun would begin. She lazily lounged upon her kill, like a house kitten on a particularly comfy sofa, a smirk upon her face. She picked up loose pieces of meat from the woman's neck with her unretracted claws. She waited paitently for the oncomer, blank eyes staring. Her smirk only grew larger upon seeing the original hunter. A patchwork not unlike herself. Her smirk turned into a rather perturbed snort at the greeting the other female presented her with. "Dayobi, is it? I am not a child, and you obviously new to this area, or you would know of who I am and not address me in such a relaxed fashion." She drummed a paw full of claws upon the woman's carcass. She had a bit of an attitude now didn't she? Her fustrated look soon turned into a suave smile, not unlike her father's famously seductive one. "I shall enlighten you. I am Katondabi, Director, Daughter of the Dark Lord Jiarokumo."She watched as the other patchwork lay closeby to her and the kill. Her claws tightened on the dead skin, opening up new wounds, though they did not bleed, as most of the blood had already escaped the body. She continued her smile, absolutely unwavering. She wasn't about to hand over the kill, even if she had stolen it in the first place. She let her actions say 'no' versus her actually saying it. She liked playing with people, and making them do the guesswork was always most pleasureable. After all, if they got it wrong she could call them an idiot. Oh how she loved to belittle other Euclides' intellegence. The fact that her plaything was a full grown adult only made her head that much bigger. This would be a fun interaction. Katondabi: 12 / 15

From the instant the young one began to speak, Dayobi could hear the contempt practically dripping from every word. She was heartily cautious to let no expression, aside from the calm one now gracing her features, to cross her face.
Contempt? This was unexpected, to say the least. Jiarokumo? Who in Lucifer's name was that? Dayobi did not remove herself from the spot, her direct interest in the bells and the human lost in favor to this intriguing Euclides. She had rarely been back-talked...how odd.
"My sincerest apologies," Dayobi murmured with a dip of her head. "How foolish of me to mistake you for a child, it must have been the light..." She smiled, revealing the small rows of teeth in the back of her beak.
The attitude... Dayobi thought What an admirable trait, so useful...I wonder if she would...she certainly has the presence of mind. What a marvelous creature. I shall have to make the acquaintance of this Jiarokumo...
She watched as the other Patchwork's claws tightened possessively into the flesh as Dayobi continued to hold her ground. Her eyes slitted slightly, and she continued to grin. Moving her paw delicately to brush some fur into place, Dayobi made certain that the small, metal grape ornaments that adorned her body chimed softly.
"However, it does not deter the fact that I am pleased to make your acquaintance." She continued to smile, though she had dropped instantly the "child-speak" voice, adopting the tone one would take with a perfect equal. "A Director...what a fine position to hold." She tilted her head to the side. "I suppose you must be a treasure to those who might appeal to your prowess in the theater, am I right?"
She stretched her back legs, arching her back unconcernedly. "There must be many under your chain of command, I am duly impressed, once again..." She snapped her head up, meeting the other's eyes. "I have yet to meet this wondrous father of yours...But I suppose I'll tread lightly in this area from now on, shall I?" She smirked in her mind, the gall of this girl’s ego...what a delightful change from the scraping servants at home...
Staring into the other's eyes, Dayobi seated herself. "Don’t trouble yourself, I shall not touch your kill...only," She twirled a paw deftly, the metal grapes tinkling softly. "Enlighten me on the precautions I should take of this area...of your father."
Her eyes lit. "...Of you..."

She didn't acknowledge the appology, she didn't wan't to milk it. The appology was all Katon really wanted. Appologies were an act of submission. To admit error to another was not something that Katon was capable though, despite the fact she might be aware of that error. However, making others appologize to her was good for her status. She cared not what this female's rank was. Indeed, Dayobi might well have been a Puppet Master, but Katon wouldn't have cared. Directors were just as looked up to, and she was of important lineage, something that would tower her over all in status. Don't believe her? Just try and harm her. Jiaro would be there in a millisecond. When Dayobi's eyes slitted at the sight of Katon's possession of the kill, Katon began showing a little more signs of agression. Her smirk perpetuated, but her eyes slitted dangerously, and the feathers/fur on her neck bristled ever so slightly. Just a warning, thats all she wanted to give. Her smile continued with its seductive touch, radiating a strange message between itself and the more agressive body language. It was slightly unnerving. The greeting continued, though now it seemed the female knew her place a little better. Katon's smirk widened, and now it was her turn to show the beak grooves that made up her 'teeth'. Her yellow tufted tail flicked absently as she was praised, though she made no motion to praise the other in return, only to correct her slightly and to enlighten her further. "I am more then a treasure, my dear. However, while I may not be a child, I am still fairly young, and not yet ripe for entering into a Cast." she snorted slightly, pausing for a moment before continueing again. "I have not heard of a Cast worthy of myself, and so I find that I dont care about my limitation. To be sure there are plenty of Casts in this area, and most of my families' Casts are up and coming, but I have yet to hear of one as great as my father's or even my sister's, and so I am uninterested." As if to illustrate this on the physical plane, she turned her gaze from Dayobi and began picking at the dead woman's arm, slowly picking off small pieces of flesh and swallowing them delicately. "It is not just this area that requires your vigil." she said after a small time in regards to her question of where to tread lightly. "The entire city is my father's domain. The only reason there are other Casts is because he allows them to be here. He has the power otherwise to decimate them.", uttering the word 'decimate' seemed to excite her greatly. Her father reigned supreme in this area, all knew this. She was rather suprised the female had not yet met her father, or even heard of him up to this point. It was a sign that the city was growing larger. She would have to alert her father. She relaxed on her kill, she was far more interested in this conversation then she had anticipated, and the body of the young woman was slowly turning more into a pillow then a meal. "You have to fear of me, what you have to fear of my father. I am his daughter, and his legacy runs in my veins." she cackled slightly, now her body language reading far more coy. "I think you have little to worry about if you know your place. We have the same weakness for women, and you are easy on the eyes to be sure..." Katondabi: 13 / 15

Dayobi didn't mind giving the other Patchwork an apology. Others saw apologies as submission, as the other buckling under you, accepting their wrong. She knew the power of an apology, a nice, empty, pseudo promise. It had the power to give others the sense that they were in charge, it had the power to gain one friends in places where you wanted them...
Dayobi had learned long ago that making apologies to others wasn't a dent in her pride. Those who followed her, even the lowest members of her Court, would receive an apology from her if the need truly arose. It made them feel as though their leader was a compassionate creature, who cared about them all. It had gained her many a loyal soldier...they gained their fear of her in other ways.
She would never underestimate the power of fear as a perfect inductor. She could see that this girl and her father used it well...
The Masquerade watched as the other lounged on the slowly cooling corpse, she smiled at the way that the girl's tail curled at the compliments. Good...very good, she liked to be complimented. There was nothing worse than a friend you couldn't flatter on occasion.
The entire city was her father's domain, was it?
Wonderful, she would be sure to run into him at some point then; no further need to concentrate on him now. She focused on the creature in front of her... An alluring young thing, to be sure. Dayobi's curiosity was peaked as to what it might be like to be with another Patchwork.
She was therefore surprised to hear the girl's rather blatant "offer", a few seconds after the thought crossed her mind. Her eye ridges raised behind her mask.
"Indeed..." She murmured her voice nearly a purr. "I have been told this before. Are you interested then, my dear?" She rolled her shoulders lightly so that her decorations rang softly, curling her neck and closing her eyes for a few seconds. "I certainly wouldn't mind spending more time in the company of one such as yourself...such a desirable individual..."
She stood and weaved a slight pattern around the other Patchwork, perched on the corpse. She then smiled; her voice breathy. "Where shall we go?"

Katondabi found Dayobi very amusing. Only seconds before the female had thought her a child, and now she was picking up on her advances. She was assuming the female did want her after all, though she wondered if it was a horrible joke that would, in turn, annoy her to bits and pieces. No one teased her about things like her looks and desires without recieving some sort of punishment. Though she didn't think that the female was pulling her leg, at least she hadn't shown any signs of doing so.
"Am I interested?", she repeated cackling softly, "I surely wouldn't be complimenting you if I wasn't, or if I did not find you desirible. But this is something you must know, if you have truely been complimented like this in the past." She grinned slightly, her beak grinding ever so slightly. Greed was her sin. She had found the female beautiful, and now she wanted her all to herself. The mention of others sharing her bugged her a great deal. She let it slide, it was not as if she could find an equally beautiful female to call hers in the future, though...having this one to wouldn't be bad either. Greed.
Her chest feathers and fur puffed out slightly at the comment of her being a 'desirible individual'. This was something she already knew, or at the very least thought about herself. She chuckled quite a bit as the female became even more bold, asking her where she would like to go. Katon had forgotten all about the dead female human below her. She poked at it for a moment however while she thought, her tail flicking back and forth like a content cat. "I have no place of my own, though the park can be a very lovely place for such activities." She smirked.

The Masquerade watched as the other Patchwork's beak ground slightly...she wondered what was causing that, she was obviously not displeased... so what? She rolled her mental eyes; she would worry about it later.
She the listened to the girl's next statement.
Dayobi's eyes lit, slightly.
The Park?
She arched her neck and allowed her paws to knead the ground a bit, to express her pleasure at the idea.
Forget the bells, she thought to herself. Mulsej would be along eventually, he would know exactly what was to be done with them. She resisted the temptation to flick her eyes upward. She knew that the other Patchwork's full attention was on her. The temptation was great though...she knew Furl was around somewhere...she just didn't know exactly where...
Curse his silence! This was one of few, but quite annoying occasions, where she wished he would make a creaking leathery noise as he flew like other Chiroptae. She wanted to be able to pin point him.
Ah, well...so be it. She would speak to him later to find out if he had watched...
She returned her attention to the girl before her. Briefly wondering if this was the right thing to do...then practically scoffing at the idea. What was right to the Euclides, after all?
"The Onyx Park sounds fabulous..." She purred. "If we go over now we may be able to avoid any run-ins, and I believe I know just the place." She turned and watched Katon over her shoulder, eyes positively shining. "This will, indeed be fun, my dear Katon."
She stretched he long legs and waited for the other to rise...fun it would be...most assuredly...

The female seemed slightly distracted for a moment, which resulted in a raised eyebrow from Katon. But just as suddenly as Dayobi had flitted away from her body, her mind came rushing back with a seductive smile that made Katon grin. "Fun doesn't begin to encompass what it will be..." she said getting up from the forgotten carcass, as if it was just a pillow she had been resting on. The bells jingled excitedly, as if speaking the inner feelings of the female. Since she was very young she had enjoyed sexual activities, something extremely rare in even euclide younglings, but not in the bloodlines of Jiaro. She already had one female in her mind that she would eventually like to see again. To have all to herself... She walked gracefully up to the other gryphon-like patchwork, rubbing her lionish body up against Dayobi, much like a small feline might do with a beloved owners legs. There was nothing platonic about Katon's mannerisms however. Blank eyes winked at the female, and in an unnaturally adult purr said "Lead the way..."[OOC: If this rp keeps going in the direction it seems to be going then I will move it over to the boink forum ^^; Do you know the password for it?]

Dayobi allowed herself to shiver as Katon rubbed herself along the Masquerades' forelegs. She knew that the idea of her being so abundantly open with her emotions would please this girl...she was quite open to flattery, and what better flattery was there than to show the other that you found them frightfully attractive?
Though Dayobi preferred males, she wasn't necessarily opposed to females...especially if being with them would get her proverbial foot in the door. Anything to gain a friend...anything to find out more about everything and anything there was to know.
Fun doesn't begin to encompass what it will be... Dayobi smirked as the other passed beneath her, not risking allowing katon to see the expression. Such a needy girl...though she may act otherwise, she couldn't quite hide how necessary it was to her that others be there for her. Dayobi loved it...she loved dependant people, even if they weren't necessarily dependant on her...there was always someone that they did depend on.
Dayobi leaned down to rub her cheek along the top of Katon's head, the bells on her mask ringing softly, and then brought her face directly in front of the other's. Moving forward, she tapped her beak against the girl's, and smiled.
"And lead I shall, Katon...I know exactly where we should go..."
With that she turned and moved purposefully down the street. Her hind talons clicked softly on the cobbles as she swung her hips in an alluring fashion; sashaying her way home.
She turned a few corners, every now and then checking over her shoulder for Katon. Under the cover of night, it would only take half an hour to reach the trees outside of her home. She glanced back at the other, before turning away, grinning to herself.
"You have not earned my trust yet, Katon. Perhaps someday though..." She thought to herself. "I will actually allow you into my home..."
They passed a large stone wall, covered in ivy; it towered over the landscape, and soon arrived in an area encompassed by a rusting wrought iron fence. Dayobi slipped through the back and waited inside. Glancing around at her private vineyard...her home away from home. The area inside of the fence was large and mostly empty, with the exception of the hundreds of grape vines, they stretched up the fence, nearly making it impossible to see; a wall of vegetation.
They grew over tree limbs, and up rocks, almost on every surface, the air was sweet, almost too sweet. Smiling, Dayobi waited.
[OOC: Yup, after this we will need to move it there...ah, no I don't know the password? Can you give it to me, or do I need to wait for Mem?]

Chunk! Scraaapppe! Draaaaaag! Chunk! Scraaapppe! Draaaaaag! Mulsej followed his Lady's scent to the corpse of a human woman; she lay sprawled in an untidy heap in the street. She seemed slightly picked over, but as of yet mostly untouched. Glancing around nervously, he sniffed it. His Lady had certainly been here...and so had another...one he didn't know. He sniffed again, inhaling with an odd echoing, mucus laden noise through the cavernous holes in his face where a nose should be. There was no blood, and no traces of fear... The old Torn sighed in relief; his Lady was all right, then. She must have just made a friend...his Lady was so good at that. He looked the corpse over again, this time seeing the bells on the human's skirts. He knew what he was to do. Shrugging off the patched leather bag on his shoulder, he sat upright, as best he could on his ruined hind legs, and began to shift to his anthro form. His body strained and cracked as it slowly changed into something, if possible, more horrid than he had been a few moments before...but now he had hands... As a humanoid, his fur was patchier, and his face an odd mutated mess, his hands were gnarled and the skin was practically see through...but they were hands...thumbs and all. The old Torn hummed softly as he began to work the bells off of the skirt, and put them into the bag at his side. He worked for about twenty minutes when, for no apparent reason, he froze. His eyes moved without him, worriedly snapping from, not side to side, but from left to right in the sky. "Listening out for me, old friend?" Came a voice from the shadows. Mulsej jumped, whipping about to face the other Euclides. It was a Chiroptae, a Carrion. His red fur, ruffled slightly by the wind, his black wings tucked at his sides. His voice was soothing, and as soft as silk, though slightly muffled by the pipe stuck between his teeth. "Our Lady has moved onto the Park...her vineyard, with a friend, Mulsej." He murmured, moving over to assist with the bells. "I'll take these back with me, you should get back as fast as you can...I've already informed Atreju, he's ready in case anything should happen as well..."The Torn nodded, changing back with unnerving snaps and cracks. "All righ', Furl, Ah'm out then. Gotta keep an eye on my Lady, eh?" He laughed, voice old and raspy, before turning about, and heading toward the Park, dragging his mangled body away. The Chiroptae stood, soundlessly, watching the corpse of the woman. His head would occasionally twitch, and his eyes rolled from side to side constantly, as though he was having multiple small seizures. Every now and then he would mouth words, or nod and shake his head. After a few minutes of this, he bent over the woman's corpse, and began to eat.

Katon couldn't help but look up with Ivy covered wall as they passed it, momentarily forgetting about the activities to come. This must be the female's home, it just seemed to match up far to well, what with her...Dionysis like theme and all the grapevines they were passing. Katon would be very suprised if this was not her home.
She followed Dayobi into the small enclosed area, and was stunned. The smell of ripe grapes was everywhere and almost completely overpowering. She could hardly smell the woman on herself at all, and all she could do was look around at the vine covered land that Dayobi had taken her to. She felt completely out of place, but, she thought, that was not hard in a place like this. Light flitted around the vineyard, and there was green everywhere. The only real place that suited such a dark femme fatale as Katon was the shadows of the urban jungle. She would always stick out like a sore thumb in a place like this. She snorted a bit, upset with herself for being so overly dumbfounded by the area. She had a name to live up to...one that was rarely in awe of anything. "I'm impressed..." she said simply, a small bit of contempt could be heard.
She was oblivious to the events that had happened while she and Dayobi left the body, and was even more so oblivious that one had started following them, he was far away from them enough that she didn't hear him pursuing. It was for the best though...if she had felt like there was more then just she and Dayobi, especially in her own home...she may have felt a little threatened...and that wouldn't have been good for anyone.

Dayobi eyed Katon's suspicious looks, guessing that the other had correctly made an assumption on her hideaway of a home...perhaps the girl would come calling on her own some day? That would certainly save the trouble of finding her again...
Dayobi smiled, trying to prevent a smirk at the other Patchwork's poorly concealed amazement at her garden. Dayobi knew only too well how the sudden aspect of the garden's scent tended to overwhelm the senses, one of the reasons that she used it to duck into when in danger was it's ability to render opponents suddenly powerless in the realms of smell.
She also took note of how poorly Katon blended in, how terribly her coat stood out against the en masse of greenery. "Poor girl," Her mind mocked, while keeping up the outside pretense of heavy flirtation. "Does it displease you to be so far out of your element? How uncomfortable you appear..."
Dayobi did take into account, however, that the girl managed to tell her that she was, in fact, impressed. Admission, the Masquerade already knew, was quite a rarity from her companion. She feigned a blush, raising a paw to her face, as though slightly embarrassed.
"I am indeed glad that you approve, I had so hoped that you would find my humble garden to your liking. Especially..." She wove her body around the other Patchwork, tapping their beaks together again, lightly. "With the use we shall be getting out of it..."
Dayobi then pulled back, seeing how the other would react to being lightly teased. She moved back toward the entrance.
"Give me one moment, my dear Katon." She murmured. "It is possible that one of my Courtiers is in need of something, I would hate for us to be interrupted..." She glanced over her shoulder. "Fear not, I will not venture beyond the gates...I will remain within your sight, far be it from me to be wont to stray from it..."
She then pushed her face through the leaves...directly next to the languid features of a Carrion Chiroptae. Only a year of living with him enabled her to hide her surprise. "Ja'Kaefurl...just as I thought..."
The Chiroptae made a sweeping bow. "My Lady, will you be occupied long? Atreju is in need of your assistance, and the tiny Lapines are becoming abhorrent." He straightened slightly, smiling genteelly at his mistress, his eyes flickering unnervingly about in their sockets, though his expression never changed.
Dayobi cupped his face with a paw. "Perhaps I will be, dear Furl." She gestured back through the foliage to the fully visible Katon. "This is my new aquaintance, the lovely Katondabi...Katon, this is Ja'Kaefurl...a good friend of mine...he's going to go and take care of the Lapines, by sending them out to hunt for dinner." She watched the Chirpotae begin to roll his eyes good-naturedly, an odd effect, given that his irises continued to dart about.
"Oh Furl, they do enjoy it so...let them be. Tell Atreju that I will make time for him this evening. And..." She smirked at him. "Keep the others away; I may as well not be here for a while...understood?" She practically purred the commands to him. The Chiroptae nodded, gazing over at Katon once more, before leaving, the leaves and vines tumbling back into place.
Dayobi turned around, moving over to the girl and again, getting close. "Now..." She murmured, "What did you have in mind for me?"
