They were quite a pack, each with their own very seperate quirks, every rank from Puppet Master to Marionette though none below that. The proudest was questionable, for though Rohjiku had the highest rank, Vexasirabi held the most commanding presence. Nikaebise's sneaky innocent eyes were a perfect contrast to the shambling wide-eyed eerie tribal beauty of the sleepless Demetibkae. Standing in small groups it seemed the females took to each other most, with the exception of Nikaebise who was comfortable with everyone. The Puppet Master stood alone, watchful but seemingly on edge. One could understand why, if they knew his demonic sister. His desire to see her was like the desire of a mother to loose her child. He had been the one to call together this family reunion, though predictably it was Vexa's sadistic pleasure which called the thought into his mind. She was more than eager to see certain members, and far too curious about the rest. Deme was eager to not be left alone, her nightmares of the Amuni haunting her night and day. Adonijse was her sworn protector, standing guard beside her with a cool and casual smile as he took in siblings and half siblings alike. Nikaebise curled around her older brother's legs, smiling impishly up with impossibly childish eyes, though there was a certain maturity there that spoke volumes. She knew how to use the charm of feigned innocence. Soon there would be many, many more than even this. [Alright XDD I went a little overboard inviting ALL my babies, it would be cool to get like every ungrown Jiaro kid in here, but a lot of people probably don't want to play 5-6 characters in one thread. I'm just crazy :3]

It was not hard to believe that such a reunion would reach Rez's ears. He was afterall, slowly growing into a Puppet Master title, and most puppet masters, either young or adult, seemed to hear about everything going on in the city. He had invited his pet Oshun, who happily followed her brother oblivious to his intentions when she grew, as well as his sister and dear friend, though one had to wonder why, Katon. Katon, however, had decided better then to go to such a large reunion. For the most part Katon had a very hard time getting along with her family members, probably because she was just as pompus and self-loving as the lot of them, and she couldn't be in a crowd of herself without going insane with fustration. So it was just Rez and Oshun, the young female happily prancing about Rez's feet. The scars that had once adorned his eye from an incounter with a horrible mixed female were now completely gone, though...one couldn't say he was completely healthy. Indeed, it had been quite a while since Rez had slept...and because of this, he was very skinny. Much like his father, he was indeed handsome, and his health couldn't take that away from him ever, but his ribs sticking out were slightly alarming. He had strength to him, as one could see from his arms, but they were lanky...it was lean muscle. There had been one or two occurances more recently where foolish Euclide had thought him an easy meal thanks to his thin appearance...but would not live to tell anyone to stay away from this psychotic and diseaving male. His mane was beginning to grow in even more, and while he was still to small, he was big enough and grown enough to tell that he was on the cusp of adulthood. His hat sat proudly atop his head as he reached the large group of children. Oshun, being a little brave ventured before him, leaping towards her other siblings. She was very different from most Jiaro children, as she was not as dark as most of them. No, indeed, she was a little ball of activity, and while she was quiet most of the time, she was happy to talk to those that would be brave enough to engage her in conversation. She looked back at Rez with a smile. "They are over here!" she proclaimed cutely before wiggling her tail with a smile to her gathered siblings. "Now, now, settle down...remember what I told you about your older siblings? They aren't much for the giddiness." he joined her side and smiled with plans for the future in his eyes. "Like Katon?" she said a little afraid. Rez couldn't help but chuckle. Oshun was the bane of Katon's exsistance...and the poor dear had not exactly warmed up to her either. "Yes." he said. It was then that she lept behind him, using him as a shield against her siblings, and peaking out her head from behind his rump. Rez shook his head slightly. Oshun was still very young, and he would have to teach her to grow out of this...'cute' stage of hers, or she would really not make any friends with her kin. His attention returned to the group. "A fine day is it not?" he said to them all, a suave yellowed smirk playing upon his features. Oshunsi'ib: 4 / 15

It was the scent that drew her; such a gathering of the dark god's blood had not been seen in quite awhile, and the scent of his power coarsing through all their veins...it was enough to make one giddy. Her smile stretched slow and slender as the crescent moon as she took in the group. Truth be told she had not kept up tabs on her siblings, and there were quite a few that were unfamiliar to her in face, but the marks of Jiarokumo were all on them, in their smoky coats and wicked spikes. Individuals became clearer as she moved closer, dear Vexi like a queen at their heart, and that other Puppet Master that they had both had brief encounter with...his name...Reznikuj, yes. He had grown, hadn't he? But then again, so had she. She stopped lazily at the edge of the crowd, knowing well enough that her family followed aristocratic ritual and looked down on those who 'butted in' without elegance or invitation. She could play courtier at times; it wasn't beyond her in the least. She would never be as beautiful and fine as Vexasirabi, that she knew, but she had enough grace in her lithe hunter's form, enough ornament in the fan of spines at her shoulders, to be recognized as one of Jiarokumo's finesse. Her hollow orbs danced lightly over the crowd, never resting on one more than another. She didn't know who called this meeting, so best to play it safe and address them all. Their pride was a dangerous thing indeed. "A fine gathering," she said, smoothly echoing the skeletal Puppet Master's greeting. Her eyes rested lightly on Vexa, her true sister in this lot and the easisest one for her to speak to. "Is there reason, or is it all for fun and games?" She wished for an instant that she could've dragged Biesindrette along, shown the girl what the true blood of Jiarokumo acted as. Shown her this fine court.

Positively grinning from ear to ear it was easy to see Vexa was enjoying herself. From the saunter-prance she performed whilst walking towards her half-brother, to the frighteningly shimmering smile she presented to her true sister. They were all so polite though, so contained. Where was the arrogance, the wildness she remembered? Did they have to grow up so soon? But even her father was an arrogant ass when he felt like it, and she'd inherited that. Nobody was as desired and feared as father dearest.
Though she wouldn't mind being a runner up...
"Hello, Rez... did Katon not want to play tonight? Sadly, I anticipated that... oh a new one! She must have been born sometime close to those two." She gestured over her shoulder where Nika was still preening before Rohjiku, the small femme looking up with a brilliant grin and a quick flash of eyelashes. To this, the older more sultry femme rolled her eyes with a chuckle, muttering "Kids.".
Demetibkae clung to the shadows and Adoni equally, looking nervously around, trying to offer small smiles to everyone, paying particular attention to Oshun, she seemed very... comfortingly familiar. Familiar in the sense that her attitude represented one that Deme would have had if she were not so plagued by nightmares and insomnia inspired apathetic frustration.
Rohjiku ventured forward, a loose smile on his features, obviously relaxing visibly as time ran on and there remained no sightings of that strange demonic sibling of theirs. "It is important that we stay strong, bonded together as the single strongest bloodline with the most potential. Though we need not intimidate our enemies more, what can be more frightening than the strongest family alliance to ever grace this place?" He had been slowly prowling, seeking out different members of the crowd with different words, seeking attentive gazes, or at least a faint sign of intrigue. Perhaps not all of their line would indulge, but those that did... well, he was secure in the belief that it would not be regretted.
"For this, I feel a family gathering was in order. Now, what better than a little... celebration?" He chuckled low in his throat, glancing out into the night, the scent of lost blood on the air. He had played a little trick on those indulging in a forest hike this night. He had to provide refreshments after all, and corpses simply wouldn't do for his guests, no, he'd collected mice in a maze for them to hunt if they so wished.
At least that had been his idea, though Vexa thought it was too involved. She had assured him hours in advance that she personally would have done with a relatively warm corpse. But it was hard to tell who would be easily insulted in this batch, better to practice flattery than take chances and appear lazy. It would be hard convincing the crowd to follow a thoughtless leader.
