Joranuriel stepped away from the theatre, his movements as light and smooth as always but his thoughts were bogged down. How was he going to find this Rosemary human...perhaps he'd best get more information from Juramento. Slowly the gold-hued male vanished into the alleyways, his tail flicking in a beckoning manner. He hoped Juramento would take the hint and follow. A charming smile played on his lip and his mischevious fox side was starting to kick into play. How could he not have a little fun with Juramento while they were together? It was, after all, best to be friends with those you worked with. Abruptly, in an elegant flash of golden and white fur, Joran lept onto a box, lifting himself over the filthy ground and staring back at Juramento with coy playfulness. What to say to justify his playful actions? Usually he was so...in possession of himself, it probably didn't seem natural for him to have a playful streak. "So," He forced himself to appear more business-like...less like he was planning to pounce Juramento from his wooden perch. "where did your last lead take you, and where shall we go from here?"However, regardless of the business-like attitude Joran had shifted into, the mischevious look remained glinting in his hollow gaze.

Grime. That was all Juramento noticed for a moment, it was everywhere, caked to the cobblestone roads and dripping from the wooden walls. He had ventured to this disgusting alley only because Joran had led him, but how he wished they met somewhere...cleaner. It wouldn't have surprised him to find a rotting body in this particular alleyway.
Leaping across what appeared to be a mound of forgotten trash, Juramento looked up long enough to see the Symphony leap atop a box and away from the filth. He matched his look for a moment, nearly flinching inwardly. He wasn't used to play of any kind, only serious remarks. But those did become boring after a while, even for this Oath. Perhaps this company would do him some good.
Well, at least he didn't look as if he was to pounce upon him, god knows what Juramento would do then. He remained silent for a moment, thinking. "My last lead was found from a Marionette, mostly trustworthy so I don't believe she lied." He laughed, it was always a possiblity, even if she was an insane music type. "And she said that Rosemary--or at least a relative, lived near here...but where, I'm at a loss."
He noticed the look Joran gave him, and swallowed. How indeed did such a meek, nervous creature become Director?

Joran was not exactly fond of the grime himself, but it had its uses. The alleyways were usually deserted of humans and Euclide alike. Nevertheless, he could easy see Juramento's dislike of it was far more than his own displeasure and he almost felt sorry for bringing him here, almost.
"I see." Joran murmured thoughtfully. "What sort of human was the man who gave you the pendant?" He leapt down, his slender fox-like frame brushing Juramento's side before turning to gaze up at him. "Mayhaps that will give you an idea on where to look?"
Work or Play. Oh, it was such a hard choice.
Even when he was alone all he did was work...perhaps play would be nice. If only just for a change.
A strange grin touched his muzzle, suave and mischeivous at once. "I'm making you nervous?" He didn't want to make Juramento nervous, no...quite the opposite. The Director needed to relax, drop some of his tension.
Considering their current actions, Joran and Juramento would've been better to exchange ranks. Joran had always been a bit too cocky for a simple Script Writer, but he couldn't help that he had quite a bit of pride.

ooc| Hehe, that would be a good idea. Juramento as a Script Writer.
Juramento shrugged casually before answering. "It was a shame I had to kill him, if I wasn't near death I certainly wouldn't have," he said. As Joran made contact with his own side his tail twitched slightly, though from what was uncertain. "He was intelligent, and heartbroken. Rosemary had broken him, that's almost all he said. It was almost kind to kill him," he spoke softly.
He smiled for a moment before casting a look around. "You? No no, I don't think so," he chuckled. "Most likely, the garbage."
The lie flew quickly off his tongue, and unlike usual, he felt bad for speaking so. The bright male in front of him was correct when he thought Juramento needed to relax, his whole body was tight with nerves. Which wasn't unusual for him, but having Joran here increased such defenses, at least for the time being.

Joran remained close to the other male's side, tail held high so that it wouldn't brush the filthy floor beneath him. However, because of this effort, it repeatedly brushed itself against Juramento instead.
"Ah, I see." The Symphony mused slightly. If she was the sort to break hearts with such skill, perhaps Joran had an idea as to where she was. He'd deal with that when the time came, however. "It usually is. There are so many broken humans."
Juramento's lie was amusing, and quite see-through. At least to Joran. Garbage didn't seem to be the most frightening thing in the world. Unpleasant, yes... Frightening, no? Leaning in he licked Juramento's cheek with teasing affection.
"I must admit, I've never heard of anyone being afraid of garbage, Juramento."
He looked away, his tail still swaying lightly...still brushing against Juramento with casual interest. Joran retreated into his thoughts, trying to muse up a way to relax the tension in Juramento's rigid frame without further frightening him. Upon reflection, licking him might not have been the best way to do that.

ooc| -pats Juramento- Poor, nervous Oath. o.x
"Which means there are many heart-breaking humans," he mused thoughfully. "I don't believe it was her fault though, I do believe the male had brought himself that trouble," Juramento added. "He did mention an affair." That seemed to be a spoken taboo amongst humans, affairs.
Well, Juramento surely did react as expected, nearly doubling over onto that nasty floor. And--a surprise to him, he leaned forward slightly, though for what he was uncertain. What strange emotions this alleyway stirred!
Despite the predicament, Juramento managed to laugh and shake his head. "It was a ridiculous lie, even I will admit such." But then again, he was not used to telling anything, let alone the truth, to anybody.

"Well, if that was the case, then perhaps we will find our missing lady trying to mask her own heartbreak."
This was town was quite lovely, and Joran had to admit...the masquerades were quite delightful. If only he'd been a Marionette he might've joined more. Instead he settled to just watch the lovely masked humans dancing with one another.
However, his mind lingered on the parties for only a second, immediately returning to Juramento as the male folded away from his affection, and then back again to escape the grime. Poor, handsome lad. Joran was making it so hard on him, but Joran had no reason to hide his affections for the other male.
Quietly he leaned in again, brushing himself again Juramento in an attemp to help keep him upright. The smaller male tilted his gaze upward to the Oath he was pressed against. "So, then, is it me?" Once more the light brush of his tail, nothing compared to his sleek form against Juramento's. "I wouldn't want to upset a friend."

"I do hope so."
Juramento said and thought of humans. Unknown to him, he shared Joran's discomfort, at least for this. He, on many occasions, wished for something...anything which resembled a real life. Either for a human or an euclide, he wasn't picking on the factor.
Perhaps that was why he was so apprehensive? Hell, he was borderline on paranoia, definitely high-strung. Worse of it though, is that he really wanted it all to stop. It was like realizing you're afraid of heights just when the rollar coaster falls, only much worse.
Juramento sighed, exhausted with everything at that moment and hating himself for it. He allowed Joran to lean against him, afraid he would fall without his support. "No, not you," he said simply and closed his eyes for a moment. "It's never been you, always me," he added and then shook his head. "I'm afraid it might be me upsetting you." He said with a weak smile of apology.

Joran could only nod his head in agreement. New friends they might've been, but Joran couldn't overlook just how utterly pointless it would be for this young Oath to die because of a human's foolish mortality. Nevertheless, even if Juramento was to search until Rosemary's demise, Joran would be sure the uptight Director experienced at least some pleasure in life before then.
Slowly Joran shifted from canine to his anthro form, finding it more capable of keeping Juramento upright. Slender arms slipped around the larger canine, gold-furred fingers sliding along his neck. Joran might've been charmingly friendly, but he typically didn't concern himself so with the feelings of others. So, for that reason, one could imagine the surprise it was to Joran to find that he truly pitied Juramento and the exhaustion he must currently be facing.
"Ah, my friend. You're not upsetting me in the least. You've a right to be tense, but not so much as you currently are." Still Joran stroked Juramento, his grip loose enough that the higher ranking male could escape if he chose, but was otherwise nicely supported by the lithe Script Writer. "This tension you're under is more likely to kill you than your elusive human." Joran smiled gently. "Besides, you've got someone to share the burden with now, perhaps its time to let yourself relax. If only for this evening?"
I must sound like a fool... Joran thought to himself, a flush of warmth rising to his golden cheeks. Why am I so concerned for the life of one who is, practically, a stranger to me? Joran shook the thoughts off with an absent flick of his tail. What was said was said, and only time would tell if he was making a fool of himself or not.

Lucky for Joran, he didn't have to steady Juramento much longer, for soon composure regained him. With a smile of thanks, he found his balance and breathed a sigh of relief. That was horrid, he did have to stop playing the weak, victim, Oath. Pity made him slightly ill, but from Joran he could understand it, he ['he' being the Symphony] had been around Juramento longer than most. In fact, longer than everyone. The Director wasn't meant for companionship it seemed, hopefully this would prove otherwise.
Juramento merely listened, words seemed little compared to what Joran was saying. "Ah, then I'll be killed either way." Despite everything, Juramento laughed quietly and shook his head with amazement. This male was certainly something else. "I shall try then, you've proven your point," he spoke and even as he did he felt himself relax, if ever slightly. It was an improvement at least.
Ah, now he's embarrassed, Juramento noticed and chuckled inwardly. He was less experienced on feelings than his companion, but he smiled gently at Joran. "You feel foolish?" He asked and laughed deeply. "Now, that is ridiculous."

Joran didn't mind supporting Juramento, it was part of the reason he had come with the other male. He wanted to help him, and not just in finding Rosemary. The Symphony Script Writer was quite the stubborn fellow, and he didn't plan to be leaving Juramento's company anytime soon. Not if he could help it.
Even once he'd released him, he was close. Graceful fingers remained against the warmth of Juramento's neck, toying with the fur ever so slightly as he took in his reply. "I have no intention of allowing you to die." The relaxation, however minor it might've been, of Juramento's powerful frame brought a smile to Joran's previously somber expression. "Much better." It wasn't a massive change, but it was better than nothing.
And then Joran's blush was deepening, thanks to Juramento's words, but he was also laughing warmly. It was a pleasant sound as the Script Writer twisted his own embarrassment smoothly into amusement.
"I'm not accustomed to compassion." He admitted without pause to overly debate his own words. "So...it's new to me to be so concerned whether one Director lives or dies."
His tail flicked, that coy look was filtering back into his eyes. Such depressing topics, and he could be making things so much more interesting.

ooc| Sorry it took so long. >_><_<
Juramento marveled in Joran's touch, he hadn't allowed anyone this close to him, both physically and mentally, since...well ever it seemed. "Well then, I won't to death, will I?" He stated simply and chuckled. Ever more were his tense muscles relaxing, he now felt nearly unbearably loose. But, if it made Joran happy, he would keep this way.
More blushing was spread as Juramento felt his face flame, if but for a moment. The other male was quick at morphing his emotions, Juramento felt he could be embarrassed for quite some time.
"Ah, so that's it," Juramento said with a nod of his head. It seemed to make sense, at least to the Director. "Well, I believe we felt the same way then," he concurred. His tail twirled gently around his leg and he remained thoughtful.
