Regal Pride

Deybi looked at her, she was obviously judging the creature, and made no effort to hide it. She had no problem with Cannibals, she liked them just as much as she liked any other type. This may not have been the best time to ask the Puppet Master about her cast. "Hmm," she whispered. This Biase seemed unwilling to accept that she was of a lower rank. Deybi was no better than she, but she was more powerful. She would have to meet this 'Makaeja' before she even considered accepting them into her cast-to-be. She had no idea what type of Euclide she planned on permitting a postion in her cast-to-be. She hadn't even settled on a name yet. However, she was on the search for cast members, was she not?

The only thing she was absolutely certain of was that she liked this 'Sebi.' She felt they had connected, dispite the fact that they were complete opposites. She had been unsure of Biase the second she spat at the Puppet in which Deybi grew fond of, that was, indeed, a bad move on the Marionette's part. One should not act in such vile ways around someone they expect such great favors.

"I'll be honest with you, Biase," there was a faint smile on her face, but nothing similiar to that of before. "As I am sure you would rather the truth?" She was quite close to the Marionette, inspecting every inch of the pretty femme. "Had you not spat at Sebi, I'd be much more fond of you," she glanced at Sebi, letting her smile fade, and a hollow, crystal eye winked. "Marionettes are useful due to their beauty, seductive and ladylike manners. Spitting is not becoming of a Marionette." Though, she couldn't be too picky, she did want several beautiful Marionettes, such as her! "Though I will not reject you now, I shall get back to you with my answer." Unfortunatly for Biase, she could not hope that Deybi would forget her spitting, after all, Deybi never forgets anything.

Sebi kept her stare on Biase for what seemed like minutes, but then she tore her gaze away to look over at Deybi with calm eyes. She slowly started to calm down, though if Biase made one wrong pass at her, nothing would stop her from attacking. No even the great puppet master that stood before her would stop her, though she knew that she could be pushed over. Though how she ment by not being stopped was that if it was the choice of her showing her best side to get a chance to be in a cast, or protecting her feelings and showing how she really felt. Well she wouldn't hide those feelings even if she lost her chance to be in the cast with Deybi.

The Euclide was very fond of her and would enjoy to be in a cast with her if she was even accepted. Sebi then noticed the wink and slightly smiled and glanced over at Biase, her tail twitching....now she would never forget who this Euclide was for how she treated her. She could forget for a long time but then out of no where things would pop in her mind reminding her everything that had happened, though it wasn't often but it was painful to her. The puppet waited not saying anything as she listened to both speaking for a while, while she gazed around the alley once more.

"Yes I very much understand you. I shall continue to search for another puppet master just until you make you'r true decision. Because I can't have you say you might have me and my mate then turn around and say no we can't be in it... Well I must be off now in search of my wonderful canibal mate." She stuck her snout in the air and stiffly stood up and stretched. "Tah-tah!" She royaly walked away not caring if the others were staring at her. She turned invisible right before them and exited the alleyways. Finally getting out of the nasty muck.

Deybi refused to stare after her. She was not impressed by Biase's invisiblity, and staring at her would give her the wrong idea. "'It'?" she whispered. There was no 'it,' she had yet to form a cast, at this moment, there were only two in the cast-to-be. Just her and her beloved Puppet, and hopefully the Amnesia Puppet. She brought her attention back to the femme, smiling sweetly. "Touchy, isn't she?" She giggled, she wasn't sure what she meant by this, or if there were any meaning at all. She hoped the Puppet would ignore her pointless comment.

"Now, my dear, tell me," how it felt good to be smiling again. "What is it that you hold against Cannibals?" She did not mean to be noisy, though she normally asks personal questions. She liked this Puppet, and if she were to have her join her cast-to-be, she would not want the Cannibal, granted she decides to let them join, to discomfort her, dispite the fact that she's a mere Puppet.

With Biase completely off her mind, she let more pressing matters slip back into her thoughts. She was already planning on having Sebi meet the Insanity back at her theater. The though that the Amnesia would refuse to join her cast-to-be never crossed her mind. What reasons did she have to refuse? "I'll be honest with you, my sweet, I need one more cast member before my cast becomes official..." She smiled, making herself more pleasing. Yes, what reasons does she have to refuse? Deybi would treat Puppets with more respect than other Puppet Masters.

Sebi's hears perked up as she heard the other was leaving, and she just looked away over to Deybi ignoring the other leaving. The puppet then smiled as she looked over at Deybi hearing her comment and chuckled a little bit. Her tail slowly came to a rest after Biase had left, meaning that she had calmed down now. Sebi's eyes glanced around the area almost forgeting where she was again, but before she could react she heard the puppet masters question. It took her a few minutes before she replied "Ohh...well it was cannibals that hurt me and pushed me around, or made fun of me because of what type I was.....they never killed me for they seemed to enjoy the pani they caused me. I could never forget it because it was such a big event in my life."

She looked at her then towards the ground "I know that some cannibals can probably be kind and all...but its hard to gain trust from them when you know how they should be...you know what I mean?..." Sebi then looked at her with a slight smile and then glanced up towards the sky for a minute or so then back at her.

After hearing what she said next and she thought about what she said and then had to ask "...You mean you would want me to join your cast-to-be?" she was overjoyed but hid her feelings pretty well. She never thought that she would get a chance to be in a cast before, though KeaJe always said she would no matter how long it took. The tip of her tail started to wag from side to side and her form shapened up so she wasn't so bent over. So her head was up a little higher and her shoulders straight waiting to hear what the other had t say.

Deybi was relieved that the other had calmed down. She didn't want the Puppet to do something she'd regret, giving her reason to doubt whether or not she'd do good in her cast-to-be. But the Puppet did just as Deybi would have expected, and she was very thankful that she and the Bone didn't kill one another. "Well, my dear, any type at all could torment you," She smiled, trying to comfort the Amnesia, something she wasn't too awfully good at. "In this case, it just so happened to be Cannibals."

"But yes, I know exactly what you mean." She smiled, reasurringly. She addjusted her tophat, letting herself get a better look at the Amnesia. She admired the Puppet's coat for a minute, and after a moment of thought, she was brought back to the world by Sebi's words.

It wasn't easy to hide things from Deybi, she could usually catch people with their true emotions. And, she could be wrong, but the Puppet seemed fairly pleased with Deybi's offer. "Yes," she said, smiling ever so brightly. "I've no reason to refuse a position in my cast-to-be to you." Though it did not show, she was getting a little cocky, of coarse she'd join her cast! A refusal would hit her hard.
