Nejuseta watched the laughter fade, watched the apologetic expression return to play. A ploy now perhaps? Yet, it wasn't his place to question. Shivering all over, trembling from both fear and confusion, the Amnesia moved toward his 'friend' once more.
Of course...she was crazy. Of course...she would probably eat him, or something just as horrible.
But she looked as miserable in her insanity as Seta was in his world where memory was only a half existent creature, lurking on the edge of his mind, there but too shrouded in the heavy fog of his reality that retrieving the few slivers he did find was quite near impossible.
"Are you okay?"
He repeated his question from earlier, assuming the answer would be no. However, now he tried to dig up an answer to her inevitable one. Could he help her some how? Unlikely. She could just as easily rid him of his amnesia as he could free her from her insanity.

She lowered her head in pure humiliation. He was kind, but why? What had she done to deserve such care from him? Had she not nearly chewn her paw off infront of him? Had she not jump back in retreat from him? Ignore him when all he tried to do was help? Why was he so reluctant to run like all the others who are lucky enough to witness her 'mood swings'?
She didn't know, but she was thankful for him. He was the first stranger who, on their own free will, stayed and tryed to help. But, saddly, he could not help her, no one could. She would be insane, though she'd hate to admit it, forever.

Nejuseta moved closer, a sense of anxiety was rushing over him, but he ignored it. Instead he sat beside the femme and gave her a faint nuzzle. Tension filled his every muscle, afraid he would be wounded for the attempt at comfort.
Seta was not exactly the smartest Euclides to wander these allies, but he was kind underneath all his paranoid uncertainty caused by the frequent black outs in his mind.
"Don't be upset." He murmured, hushed voice finding as much comfort as it could muster. "I'm not mad at you or anything."
Quietly the lynx-like Euclides wondered what to do about her poor wounded paw. He knew nothing about healing in the least.

The voice cackled, but she did her best to ignore it. She gave a few licks to her paw every so often, but completely ignored it the rest of the time. The pain did not bother her in the least, infact, she seemed to enjoy it. 'He's not too bright, but he is kind,' she silently wondered why the voice would comment on such a thing. Is it possible that the voice accually likes him? No, the voice hated all, and wished to only cause pain and misery.
She stood one all fours, putting just as much weight on her injuried paw as the other three, and showed no sign of pain, and when she walked, examining the Feline, she had not even the faintest limp. Was he comforting her in fear she'll hurt him if he does not, or is he genuinly concerned? If he is afraid for his life, why hasn't he run? Oh, too many questions. He paw went to her temples, nursing a headache.

Nejuseta tilted his head up at the femme, curious and confused as she circled him. Was she going to hurt him now? A light cringe shuddered through him, but he remained on the dirty earth, watching her move.
He opened his maw, preparing to say something, and then it happened. With a look of utter shock his mind was washed completely blank of the last ten minutes they'd spent in each other's company.
His stare was blank, his eyes wide. Abruptly he was leaping to his paws and staring around wildly. How had he gotten here?! Who was this female?!
A terrified leap backward and a familiar question. "Who are you?" Angry now, suddenly so vulnerable and lost...but she looked hurt? Had he hurt her? Oh lord, he hoped he hadn't. Speech now accented with a nervous wobble instead of an angry edge, he tentatively voiced his concern. "I...I didn't hurt you did I?"
He was doomed if he had... Kujien wouldn't keep him around anymore if he was biting strangers. Oh no, nono...he was in trouble now... He just knew it.

She stopped and cocked her head. She had a look of humer upon her face. 'Who's the insane one here?' The voice humorusly whispered. She wondered what it would be like to have no memories, no recollection of her previous thoughts. He was afraid, of what? She had no plans of harming him...
She shook her head, as if to say he had not brought harm to her. What had happened? Why had he suddenly forgotten her? She was pained, was she not worth remembering? 'My dear, he's the luckiest Euclides alive, not remembering you is everyone's dream!' Selfpitty was something she usually did not engage in, but misery had overtaken her. Why had he forgotten?

Misery was laced into his hollow eyes, lost without any recollection of the time he'd seen with her. Shudders, but they stopped quickly. It was always terrifying to come through the memory wipes in the company of another. Suddenly he was in the middle of a half formed sentence, aware of what he'd been about to say. Eyes flickered closed, focusing on the face. He'd seen it before...
Somewhere... in the haze...he'd seen this pretty canine's face before. But how? He'd never met her. Unbidden, words off his tongue.
"Kaebi?"
He winced, opening one eye... He was wrong, he'd never seen this creature before. What would she think? Would she be angrier? No...Seta had a feeling she wouldn't be. She seemed...sad? Yes...very sad...but why?
"Are you...are you sure I haven't harmed you? ...I...I can't remember anything." A pathetic shudder. "I'm just an Amnesia... I...I'll understand if you're mad at me."
Seta didn't stutter, but his habit of stopping and starting before finishing his sentences almost made it sound as if he did.

She wanted to explain to him, she was not mad, infact, she was relieved he remembered her. She gave him a look of pitty and shook her head, gesturing to her wound, suddenly embarrassed to have caused it herself. What kind of creature inflicts such pain upon themselves? But there was no pain, her paw was pleansantly numb, and she liked it.
The voice was getting louder. She prayed she would not have another... er... tantrum in his presence. She gave him pleading eyes, but she was sure he had no idea what they were given to him for. The voice was screaming and laughing at intense volumes, she winced, no not again.

Seta was washed with a moment's relief. Yes...he'd met her before the memory wipe, but he hadn't hurt her. Then...who had?
Pausing slightly the lynx-like feline looked around, confused and trying to find the assailant. Herself, perhaps? ...Why? Sane creatures didn't attack themselves.
This time, another thought, unbidden but welcome. Insanity? Was she an Insanity type? Perhaps, it'd make sense. It was always comforting to be in a familiar setting when your memory wiped, memories floated back on occasion and he was never as lost as he had been in the company of a stranger.
The pleading look in her eyes sent a strange tension into him, confusing him more than thoughts of an invisible assailant. What was she trying to say? This time no comforting memory came to his rescue, only a sense of miserable foreboding.
"What's wrong?"
The question was in vain, Seta realized this before he even spoke it...it was useless to try and save those of the Insanity types. Sadly, Seta lacked far too much experience to discover this realization on his own.

She suddenly grew angry, frustrated. But why? Would she have to explain everything over and over again? Oh, she could scare him like she had again, she didn't want to, it wasn't in her. Then again, maybe it was. She was never able to admit it, but deep within her mind she knew that the voice was herself, an angry, merciless, male version of herself. No that can't be true, she was kind and gentle, and caring, he was rude, hateful and... insane. Oh, how can one not understand one's self, more headaches, oh the pain.
'He's not worth it, dear, leave him.' The voice had this odd way off sounding kind when he had the worst of intentions. Was it sarcasm? He sure as heck wasn't being sincere. She shook her head, she would not leave him, not when his memory had failed him, not when has was worried as he was. But what could she do? She couldn't explain herself to him, no that was impossible. More body language.
But how could she go about showing him that the voice in her mind scared her so much, that she could not disobey him, she was forced to listen to his hateful comments. For the first time, she really felt... insane.
