Birakaecia positively grinned from ear to ear, she really did like compliments, most Especially on her magic. Pleased enough to purr, she flicked her tail merrily from side to side in contemplation. A gambling and loan sort of deal sounded interesting, and she could be of use... "Is your mother free anytime in the near future for some business negotiations? I do much like performing, and your little operations are very intriguing..."
Making his way over, the young price raised an eye at the end of the conversation. What was she getting herself into now? Trouble no doubt. However, the business tactics the lapine suggested were very clever, and in turn roused his interest. Perhaps he could nudge his way into things as well... he didn't like Bira to be alone really, but he was also one to seek out adventure whenever possible. None were so brave as he, after all!
He turned his head to glance at Babs, smirking to one side in thought. "She becomes a handful at times, nothing I can't handle of course. It's worth it to see her softer parlour tricks, the ones that don't involve the changing of bodies or disembowelment..." He made no move to try and hide his words, for though the lapines seemed young, he was commonly known to treat everyone like an equal. Equal to each other, of course, not quite to him. "Eh... telepathic maggots you say? That sounds very peculiar, is this male perhaps of the dead and rotting type?" He couldn't hide his slight discomfort, necrophilia was a little too much, even for him.

Berri and Jaun both bobbed their heads in agreement. They knew their mother's schedule very well, having learned it so they could find ways to get around it and have unsupervised fun. At this time of day she would almost certainly be sleeping, resting up for the night ahead. She far preferred activity in the late afternoon and evening, when her unusual body structure would be less noticeable under her large woolen cloak. "Maybe we can take you to meet her tonight or tomorrow," the young Director offered with a grin. "Day after that won't work, since I think she's going to see our father and that'll take up her whole night."
Still unnoticed by her siblings, Babs continued her conversation with the handsome, princely male. His bluntly spoken words and faintly superior manner didn't bother her in the slightest, reminding her strongly of her more dominant sister. As a Script Writer, she would always play third fiddle in their little group, helping Berri come up with plans but standing to the side while she and Jaun began their implementation. She was content with the sidelines and with following orders, so long as she had some say in where those orders took her.
"I guess you could say he's sorta rotting, but definitely not dead," she said firmly. "He's as alive as us, just with a lot more holes in 'im. I think he's a Carrion, so the three maggots are prolly his friends and companions, but they seem to drive him a little crazy sometimes. I know they talk to 'im, just not how or why. He doesn't do anything special himself besides carry 'em around and fly and go out on missions for Lady Dayobi. I dunno what he actually does."

She considered for the first time in... well... ever, what it might be to be approached by someone of her age. She was barely an adult, and this female had already raised a batch of kids, in fact, this could-be-business partner of hers seemed experienced enough to be her mother! Well, she would probably be treated as a bit of an apprentice then, and while Bira felt she was destined for fame and awe in the minds of those who appreciated magic, she was willing to work her way up. A little. For a while.
"Ah, well, truth be told I have no cement plans for tonight or tomorrow, so that could work out perfectly. She is... fond of your father, then?" A little bit of curiosity slipped into her voice, she didn't know of many monogamous Euclides, she'd barely met her mother before she'd departed for bigger, better things, and her father had met an unfortunate end... the parents of her dear friend Rakaeja had never stayed very close either, though that was more his mother's fault from what she'd heard... it always seemed to be that the females tired of their mates. She understood some aspects of it, but still found it strange. Rakaeja had his interesting moment, even though he could be a bit of a blind deuce...
His expression was one of casually cool puzzlement. He didn't want to seem as shocked as he was, but he couldn't even consider keeping company with something that wasn't even remotely beautiful. Beauty was a big thing to the young prince, for he had always fathomed himself having quite a bit of it surrounding him someday. "I can imagine how that must be... difficult to deal with for this boy-toy of your friend's." Shaking it off, it was obvious by his charming grin that he had a sudden strike of inspiration on what direction to take the conversation. "So... what do you do around here for fun? Do you ever go out on your own, or with a date perhaps?" Oh yes, he was very sly and not obvious at all.

"Yeah, she's pretty fond of him. She explained it to me once... something like 'I nibble on his ear and give him what he wants, so he gives me anything in return. Especially if it looks like my attention's wandering.' She said it differently, a'course, but that was the gist of it. They get on really well. From what I can see, she leads him around by the nose and he likes it. I dunno why, though. I certainly wouldn't stand for something like that." Berri finished and shrugged. Far be it from her to understand the eccentricities of her parents. She just participated.
Jaun's ears had slowly tilted in the direction of his other sister's conversation and he listened with increasing curiosity. Babs blushed at the question and looked away, catching her brother's interest and glaring. "Well, sometimes we chase homeless people around the slums. We spend a lot of time in the Lady's hide-out, helping her with whatever she needs. She gives us pretty trinkets in return." The lapine shook one of her charms and it made a pretty tinkling noise.
((I dunno how much more inspiration I have for this. ^^ They'll be growing quite soon and I'll want to wrap up their baby RPs. Would you like to make a closing post of some kind?))

((Sounds good, these guys are growing soon too, we could perhaps have a fun little adult rp sometime? )) Birakaecia couldn't help but chuckle at the thought, though she very much agreed with Berri. "Yeah, can't really say I'd tolerate that either, but... perhaps the male gender is just less demanding as a whole. Or simply, not quite able to take our dominance in such an embarassing fashion." She snorted, smirking very pleasantly in Rakaeja's direction. He just happened to be glancing over, and she hoped he'd heard her conversation with Berri. He was never one to let the male ego as a whole be insulted. However, it seemed his current companion was keeping him too engaged for him to respond properly. Pity, he was fun when he was riled up! "I don't think my mother and father had such a relationship, if any at all... but that's common around here from what I've heard." She shrugged, not bothering to waste time thinking about it too much. He grinned charmingly at the lapin, she seemed to have a sense of adventure... "Oh really? That sounds somewhat exciting actually, and pretty trinkets do so set off a lady's fur, she should never turn down the opportunity to happen upon one by any means..." He was fond of stealing from the wealthy humans who, drunk out of their minds, were known to waggle and toss off gold bangles and rings as well as pull off fine necklaces. He might have to see about finding a little bauble for his new princess, though she certainly had a few as it was, she would surely want a few more. "Perhaps sometime I could join you? Not this evening, as we do have plans I'm afraid, but perhaps the next?" At this he peered up and waves at Birakaecia, she'd no doubt forgotten his commitment to his dark gypsy sister and their nightmarish companion. The feline politely tipped her head and jerked her head at her brother. "We must be off for now, see you in a few days time, perhaps." She would definately pursue that offer with the lapin's mother, it was too juicy to pass up! She turned on her paws and saunted merrily towards Kaeja who was saying his own goodbyes and looking rather pleased with himself... she'd have to ask about That later. "Ta-ta for now!" She called over her shoulder as Rakaeja winked at the group.
