The trees of the Copse hummed forebodingly, and the female Amuni shivered slightly, as she made her way beneath the eerie archway their branches formed. Shadows danced lightly across her forehead, contrasting greatly with the spectrum of hues that embellished her coat and eyes, yet her mind wandered to other imaginings, thoughts that haunted her existance.. To remember..or to forget? Her mind reeled with the possibilities. After all, was that not why she had made the treacherous journey here, in the middle of the insomnia-ridden night, if not to clear her head of the thoughts that plagued her? However, it appeared that to rid herself of these thoughts would not be easy at all. A single unearthly screamed echoed from below the trees, and Aleibsa shuddered. Perhaps it was not such a good idea, after all, to wander in the dark.

On the contrary, for Allieje, wandering in the dark was something that he did quite often. There were just too many interesting things in this world -- why miss them because you were sleeping? Well, because it was interesting to sleep, too, sometimes. But tonight, he didn't feel like sleeping. Lieje was up and about, weaving between the trunks of old, dying trees as the shadows played over his spotted coat. The night air was refreshing, and he stepped lightly and freely, his mint-webbed wings exaggerating the motion of his mane-draped shoulders. Then, a wailing scream pierced the copse. Unconsciously, Lieje swiveled his large ears towards the sound. Ick, somebody wasn't having too good a time with things at the moment. He changed his bearings, heading slightly away from the source of the misfortune. As he did so, he caught sight of something vaguely white and canine-shaped walking through the dark maze of trunks. He narrowed his eyes slightly, then crept forwards stealthily, sneaking closer to the other Amunu.

For a moment, Aleibsa held completely still, as her eyes, used to the light of day, searched through the darkness intently, hoping desperately to catch a glimpse of some movement.
She had heard something, that was certain. She knew now that she was not alone in the copse..
Yet, friend or foe? echoed the hidden voice in the Promise's mind, and Aleibsa found her question unanswered.
Carefully, she moved backwards a single step, hoping that a ray of starlight would cast through the branches, and assist her further. However, the sky was dark, eclipsed with clouds, and her hope was to no avail.
Sighing, the Canine Amunu crouched in a protective stance. Perhaps, if she held still, no harm would come to her, and she could escape in the first hours when the sky is bathed with sunlight.

Allieje, hidden away behind a stand of dark-leaved trees, tilted his head as he observed his query. It was a she, he saw; a Promise femme, much like the twins that he knew all too well. But he would not have to fear this femme like he feared the other two -- probably. No matter, though; at the first sign of trouble he could simply run away. That was what he always did, when situations started spiraling out of control. He was, after all, a Creation -- and every Creation could create something that was unique to themselves. Lieje's particular creations allowed him to do things that normal individuals could never do, for fear of terrible consequences. His whole life, Lieje had tried and succeeded at evading those same consequences, fleeing to safety unscathed. His power might be atypical for the Creation type, but it was useful, indeed...
So it was with confidence and a hint of arrogance that he stepped out from behind a tree, several body lengths away from the Promise femme. His lush, mint-colored mane, tail tuft, and vestigial wings caused him to present as quite a regal individual, his slightly lower forequarters only proving to accent the contrast of his front and back halves as they faded from dark to light. He was roughly the same size as the other Amunu, if not a little larger; however, his confidence and poise lent him the illusion of several additional inches. You might say that Lieje was slightly largish for his size -- but he was also slightly young for his age. A life that was consistantly devoid of consequence had offset the age that normally showed in an individual such as him, making him...not spoiled, really, but perhaps a bit egotistical and naïve.
Allieje did not speak any greeting, simply because he did not feel like it. He would let the other move first, then reply in trade. His stance was one of nonaggression, muscles relaxed, expression neutral, eyes trained on the femme. His tail was raised, rather than low to the ground, showing that he felt (and offered) no threat. The only movement that he displayed was the occassional twitch of his verdant tail tip, and the rustle of the gently wafting nighttime breeze against his thick ruff of fur.
