She was a lady. Full grown and as stunning as any, she felt she had obtained the beauty she'd been told to seek. The necklace around her neck had been basically a gift, she'd 'won' it, but she hadn't taken any chances about it on her part. Her eyes tilted to the sky, without reason or purpose, there wasn't much to see anyway. It was a natural habit when she was thinking, and for a moment she fondly remember her cubhood adventures. Kujien! She had to find him... only mere weeks earlier when she'd hit the 'teen' inbetween stage, just old enough to reproduce, they'd been caught up in a moment which had left her mind spinning... And it had left her with something else. Always elusive, she knew Niva would be nowehere to be found until she wished it otherwise. Hopefully she'd want to come and see her father tonight, as much as Saiba wanted to show off her new form. Still she spoke little, but now it was more of a ladylike, serene silence. Her desire for emotion was still lacking, yes, she'd been driven to the point of realizing emotion was possible, so instead she decided she wanted nothing of it. She did love her daughter though, but it was more in the way of someone who knew they had to be a caretaker. She had little maternal instincts, but it bothered Niva little, for she'd inherited her mother's eerie understanding. The theatre had been empty, where was he? Her pursuit seemed to have gained speed in those few seconds, but what was it that made her so anticipational? Everyone reached the stage she was at now, so why was it a big deal? Perhaps because she'd waited so patiently, waited with him. She felt special in a way, but didn't fully comprehend why, something rare for her. Not bothering to linger on it, for that was her way of dealing with things, she simply continued on.

Kujien did not like to leave his Cast in the dark. Especially when it came to him spontaneously up and leaving as he had, but there were things best left unsaid. His twilight escapade had been one of those things. The Cast would not be concerned with his issues, that was a problem for his mind alone. Jaseubi had encouraged it. The new Marionette, a beautiful boy, but his games were far more advanced than the typical Marionette. Blasted Inspiration...he was picky and there was chances he might not stay if things did not appeal to him. After all, he had left a Cast before. Regardless...a truce with that feral Puppet Master would be...quite hard. Even after their price meeting...Jien couldn't decide if it was a price he could accept. With a heavy sigh, the Poison collapsed into the shade of the isolated Verboten Copse. Out of sight, out of mind. He'd deal with the real world later. Sighing heavily, Kujien had just barely closed his eyes when they suddenly flashed back open, alerted by the sound of rapid movement. Someone was coming. Jiaro? No, too faint a step. Jiaro always made quite the entrance. Then she stepped through the tree line. His beautiful Puppeteer. A Marionette in his eyes even if she weren't one to the rest of the world. Slowly, as if he were a Puppet being pulled by another's strings, Kujien rose to his paws to greet her. "Akaesaiba." He purred out, his voice currently lacking its usual poisoned taint despite holding all its usual ensnaring qualities in place. "Why the hurry?"

Her voice, her thoughts, all seemed to cut off when she saw him. So caught up in her excitement, she forgot that it wasn't like her to be so unstealthy and... excited. Normally rather blank and emotion-less, it seemed she was caught in quite a strange mood indeed. She had had something to say only seconds before, but now the words seemed to pathetic and useless. Instead of making a fool of herself, she decided to just play things cool and casual.
"Look at me." She stated, moving in a slow circle to emphasize her finalized form. "Notice a little bit of a difference?" Though it wasn't massive, she was proud of the last changes which had been administered to her fully adult form. The necklace as well shone beautifully in the light. That was certainly something she hadn't had on their last meeting. It had been too large to fit properly untilt today, as if that lapine had designed it specifically to fit measurements which he somehow predicted.
Her enjoyment slipped only slightly, he seemed tense... was there something she'd missed? It was probably business of his own, and Akaesaiba was one who understood the limits of personal problems. Don't interfere with someone's issues unless you're invited. She might question to see if he was alright, but any further information would be his to offer up, or keep silent. "You seem distant. Anything wrong?" Simple and caring, she was allowed to be concerned for his well-being.
Moving to his side, but keeping her space, she allowed one hand to drift, lightly, to his arm. His to refuse or accept. Saiba was very inbetween, very cautious. She let her intentions be known, but she left plenty leeway for one to do with those actions and that information as they pleased. Often her feelings would not be hurt either way, so it didn't matter the outcome, not really. With him she was a bit more curious, but perhaps there is an automatic bond which comes from sharing offspring with another, whether love was involved, or not.

Kujien's thoughts were heavy, but he allowed himself temporary relief. No need to torture himself before this lovely creature.
Instead, he focused his attention upon Akaesaibi, fascinated by her actions. She was unusually excited, and it leaked to him, leaving him with a soft sense of pleasure and amusement. He couldn't be distressed around her, not yet at least. It would ruin her mood, and Jien could not bare to do that to her.
"You've grown to your full form." He acknowledged her change with a smooth, charming smile. She was lovely like this, fully crafted into the woman he had expected her to become. Kujien's hopes could not have been better met. "And you appear to have acquired quite the lovely trinket as well."
Her concern was...touching? Kujien couldn't quite read the emotion that flickered beneath his subconscious, even though it belonged of his own mind. He was numb to such things, but this beautiful female seemed to be slowly wearing his shell thin. Kujien still couldn't decide if he liked that or not. His walls were in place for a reason, and a logical one at that, it would not be good to be swept back into the raging flood of emotions.
Though...perhaps he could simply wet his paws on the river's edge instead of allowing himself to get swept away?
Hollow eyes flickered to her touch upon his arm, and a cold smile accented his pale muzzle as Kujien allowed some of the tension plaguing him to drain away. Perhaps it was best she know? Indeed.
"In a way, yes." Kujien murmured thoughtfully, shifting into his anthro form and folding his softly furred arms. Finally, Kujien allowed himself to relent to his own logic. It was best she know, there was no reason to hide it from his most intelligent Puppeteer. "I'm sure you've heard of the dark Lord, Jiarokumo?"
