She would not leave him, no that was not her intention. But one who had lived on their own for so long, well, she just wasn't the most trusting creature. She forced a smile through her nervousness. Fearing such a creature wouldn't do so good for her reputation, not that she was too popular with the other Euclide. "I'm not exactly a social butterfly," she had mixed feelings about this creature. She wanted to enjoy his company, but wasn't sure how to act around him. "I enjoy the company of myself, flirting isn't exactly something I do with myself."
Her knees grew weak from standing, so she sat once again on the ground, growing lazy as the night crept by. Her thoughts seemed so jumbled, she wasn't how what or how to think, and this frustrated her.

"Ah... why would one like yourself stay cloistered and away from your fellows? Truly if you spend so much time in thought you must have much talent to offer a cast..." he said. Now, as he was upon the ground rather than the air the bat-like male would fold the sails of golden wings, the limbs positioned so as to act as fore-legs. (Think vampire bat). With his side to the femme he'd lift one wing, the clawed digit at it's peak used to gesture to the graveyard. "Perhaps you would be interested in a casual walk then? I will strive to act casually for the sake of your comfort...." This would not only give him the opportunity to speak with the femme and make her moreso at ease... but it might as well give him the opportunity to meet other Euclide. This was something of a hunt, as it were... he stalking in search of lovely little puppets and marionettes that he might bring home.

She may, indeed, have talent to offer a cast, but whether or not she'd consider joining one was another story. She was not suited for such an obligation.
Her gaze followed his gesture, looking upon the grave yard. "That sounds lovely," she said, "But, there is no need to act 'casually,' please, be yourself." Only after saying this did she realize that being himself may include draining her, sampling her blood, the fact that he's a Vampire seems to keep slipping her mind.
He seemed sincere, he seemed genuine. Slowly was he earning her trust. Slowly was she calming down, slowly was she surrendering herself to him.

At a casual stroll he would begin then, bright crimson gaze cast back to assure the other would keep pace. If nothing else, he would drop back to walk alongside her. "So this is where you lurk...yes? Might there be any sights that you could show to me, Fraulein? Certainly there must be something to see... or perhaps an area of good hunting..." Yes yes... conversation. The soothing deep tone of his voice.... Be at ease it said.... Trust me it pleaded. (OOC: Pardon- as my post length seems to slowly be diminishing.

"Not many lurk about the graveyard... humans rarely come," She caught on to the need of conversation, it seemed he was pushing it a tad, but she couldn't blame him. If he weren't to push the conversation along, they would not talk. She was thankful that he was trying to earn her trust, but for reasons she was unaware. "Tell me, what brought you into the graveyard?" Perhaps she was getting better at this whole conversation thing? She still spoke with out thinking, "I recall telling you my reasons?" She recalled telling him a lot, but learning little in return. Surely such a fine Euclides has many secrets! ((quite alright, I'm not too great with post lengths either ))

Has all sorts of spiffy secrets. Were he to share them with one of like mind, they might be seen to titter about it like schoolgirls! Well- that was more sadistic glee than schoolgirl-iness really. Still! "I suppose then that it must be a good place to allow one's thoughts to wander..." he conceded. Pause is taken to think over his responce, pace remaining constant as he does so. "While I value my cast, there is not a single female among them..." he'd begin, the cant of his voice forlorn.... as though the lonliness were unbearable. "I spend my nights in search of companionship, be it long or short in term. It is a pleasure to spend my evening with those like yourself, who will take the time to speak with me... to walk with me." now spoke in apparent gratitude. Ah, what a juicy bit of insight. A puppet master? At lost for female companionship? Impossible! But he certainly sounded earnest....

She felt no pitty for him, for she was in the same position. Few would walk, talk, and be with a Tragedy, one of such misery. "The graveyard supplies a wonderful place to think, yes," she often came here, and to other graveyards. She loved their dark, mysterious quality.
"Well, I am sure that, in such a cast, there are some who would object to the presence of females?" She was sure that this cast had all sorts of Euclide with such quirks.
The fact that he was looking for companionship hit her with surprise. Why would such a creature have to look for females to bow at his feet? She had expected him to have a harem of fair Marionettes back at his theatre. Now, she supposed that wasn't the case.

Ah... but how he wished he did! This was, spoken less romantically, the purpose of his hunts.
"Those with whom I share my cast are all male, and each has his own opinion of females, and where they belong. Thusly to avoid inconveniences, it's been agreed among us that only puppets or marionettes of the femenine persuasion might join the cast. To do otherwise would unfortunately invite conflict." Nice way to put that she'd get mauled if he took her back, wasn't it? And he did after all prefer his women lively... After all, the better their health the more he could drink.
On he strolled! Oh, he thought, my kingdom for some inspiration....

"And, if I may ask, what are your opinions on the subject?" She found herself giving up to the Puppet Master, he was certainly fascinating, and would keep her occupied for hours on end, for she'd never grow tired of his... charm? The legends were correct, Vampires are quite seducing.
How could females be looked upon as anything less than equals? Certainly they had advantages over males, as did males over females. The only reason, in her mind, that would explain such behavior was homosexuality. Though, there may be homosexuals in his cast, she was sure they weren't all of this sexual oriantation. He most certainly was not. So why have such a bleak outlook on the female race? She'd leave this question unasked.
And, as her mind wandered, she thought up more questions, all of which were best left in her mind. Would he, if he were to drain her of her blood, kill her? Would such a thing be painful or sickening? She almost wanted to ask, cannibalism and vampires seemed to interest her. But, if she were to ask, wouldn't that be like consenting to him tasting her blood? Yes, best not to ask.

Thoughtful is his responce, though he spoke it as though at ease. "I believe that the ladies should be as a marionette... their duty nothing but to be as beautiful as they are. Why bend their shapely back and shoulders with work and harsh duties?" A romantic way to put it, to say the least. Certainly he was practiced at reading a person and responded to those things they wished to hear. And still- he'd yet to properly lie. It was so much more challenging to do this without lies...
And a shame indeed that she did not inquire about his eating habits. Then again with his fangs so prominant as they were- he was willing to bet that she would eventually. Every female did. And as long as he encouraged her curiosity she would grow bolder, hopefully broaching the subject and giving him the start he needed to convince her to tarry with him.

Farther up the path there stood a large mausoleum, guarded by tall stone angels, arms outstretched toward the sky. Some great family was buried here, probably one of the aristocracy, but none of this meant much to Jaku as he lounged, draped over the arms of one of the angels. Idly he cleaned his blade, already marred and spotted with blood and flecks of gore. The moonlight winked off the steel, sending a beacon through the shadows. He had heard voices, indeed, had been hearing them for awhile. Seemed Vlaj had caught himself a female, and was working on his seductive game. What the other puppet master saw in the females that kept him in pursuit was still a disdainful mystery to Jaku, when he cared to ponder it at all. Still, he had hunted and eaten, and the night was still young. He wondered how well Vlaj's game had become, compared to his own. Surely the "prince" would not mind if he joined the little game, well, come to think of it, he really had no choice in the matter. He smiled slightly, waiting for the two to stray up the path toward him. He would greet them then, if they didn't see him first. This new pet of Vlaj's was in for quite a night.

((heh, poor Bina's in for it, lol))
Hmm, a reasonable answer, one that she did, indeed, crave to hear. "Good answer," She smiled a gave him a nod, "However, does this mean females should not work? Surely we cannot leave everything to the handywork of a male?" She wouldn't be completely happy with any answer he could come up with. She was, of coarse, not suited for the life of a Marionette. That was obvious to the casual on looker.
Once again she looked upon the Puppet Master, gazing in his beauty. Such a fine creature...
But as they walked the path, passing the graves of the dead, she noticed a canine figure in the distance. And as the grew even nearer, she guessed the figure to be another handsome Puppet Master. Now being in the presense of two Puppet Masters, she felt slightly overwhelmed. She had just now begun to trust Vlaj, and now another?

Soothing tones continued, though with little more than a flicker of largely dished ears to indicate it, he knew his fellow was here. He'd feign indifference for now, and keep to the hope that Jaku didn't try to ruin the game he had going. Trust the canid to ruin it, and foil his catch...
"Females should not have to worry their lovely heads about such trifles...." he said, one wing lifted and the finger at it's top gestured in a dismissive wave. "Lovlies like yourself are something to be treasured and appreciated, not set to such stressful duties...." Feh- best to get as much charm in as he could before the other came down to foil his fun....
