It was about the churchyard that the prince made his rounds tonight. Yes- prince. How could one so magnificent as himself be anything less? Rest assured that never did he misplace the tophat that indicated his rank, but constantly it was carried, the crown of his homelands worn in it's place. Muscular wings flapped, golden sails carrying wherever whim led amongst the headstones and masoleums. Spotting with crimson orbs and aristocratically dished ears a prime spot for landing the regal figure backwinged, fur-lined coat flaring in a pleasantly dramatic fashion as talons clasped about the brow and skull of his chosen gargoyle. Self-pleasure prompted a smile, already prominant fangs becomeing that much more visible. Ah- what a lovely one he was, scarlet pelt struck through periodically with gold. And he hardly wasted that appearance, never one to be caught slouching or even in the slightest detail careless about how he might be percieved. And what a fine spot he'd chosen! Perched here 'top decrepid gargoyle at masoleum's corner he had a fair view of the graveyard... keen ears swiveling and blood-red eyes scanning for any sign of occupation. No time like the present after all to find himself some luscious target....

She had been wandering the graveyard for sometime, it was her favorite of places. Misery and pain were her specialty, being of the Tragidy type. Within the darkness, Bina spotted a handsome creature. It's bat-like wings aglow with their golden color, but what really caught her attention was the tophat. Ah, so this euclides a Puppet Master. She knew better than to play with a Puppet Master, but talking one of such rank couldn't do any harm? After watching the the Puppet Master for a moment or so, the Mustildae made herself visible to the Euclides. Her small, yet strong body emerged from the shadows and she cleared her throat softly to catch the creature's attention. "G'day, my Lord," she said in a perfectly innocent voice, bowing her head, just to get on the Puppet Master's good side. She had not met one of his rank before, but had heard plenty to know that they can be violent, and often vain. She silently wondered if this were a mistake. She, herself, could be quite violent, but if he were to take a disliking to her, she'd be in true danger. Mind games may be hard to play with a Puppet Master. As she though, something dawned on her... what type was he? She knew little on types, nevering had the interest to learn, but she guessed him to be a Vampire. Oh, her stupidity.

Vlaj would remain for the moment there upon his perch to impress upon the other his height.... his superiority. She'd have to crane upwards her head to look upon his figure, baring that lovely throat. Wings fanned loosely to either side, adding my posture and hue to the regal aura he kept constantly about himself. Ah yes... Vlaj knew he was the best. It was truly that simple.
He flattered the tragedy type musteline with his attentions, sweeping one wing afront his figure as though swirling a cloak, and meanwhile bowing his muzzle to the female. "Good evening, pretty one." he offered finally, the voice tilted into the lower tones and an odd and somewhat germanic accent underlaying his words.
"What does a sweet poppet such as yourself do alone in the churchyard?" he inquired. Oddly phrased yes, but it was meant to add to the more romantic air he curried. He didn't come down just yet....
(EDIT: Hope you all don't mind if I pick up the bold speech?)

She raised an annoyed eyebrow. She hated feeling inferior, dispite the fact that she obviously was. She had made up her mind, she would not show anymore formality until he comes down from his perch and acts as if he were her equal. Though she knew there was a fat chance of this.
"This graveyard acts as my home at times," she enjoyed wandering between the stones, making estimates of how many fell victims to her. "Keara'Bina, most prefer to call me Bina," she felt this to be an appropriate time to introduce herself, for perhaps he'd do the same. She left her rank out of the introduction, as most usually state it with their name. Not her, though her rank could easily be guessed by her name, she didn't want to just state that she was of lower ranking than him. "Pleasure to meet you," she said, with a hint of a smile. She did want to learn more about her company, he seemed like an interesting fellow. But with Euclide, interesting can range from beautiful and wise Marionettes to Cannibals and Murders. She didn't quite know what to expect from this Vampire.

Thus given the very opening he desired, the Puppet Master flared again his wings. Outwards golden sails spread, the bat-like male using little more than a casual glide to sweep down and take a nearer perch. As talons clasped about the top of the worn headstone he'd turn the folding of wings into the flourish of a bow, fanged smile displayed.
"And you may refer to me, lovely one, as Vlaj Drakul. Puppet Master of the cast From Hell." he said, again that pleasantly deep accent flowing 'neath his words as though to soothe the musteline to whom he spoke. "Surely one such as yourself has a magnificent theatre which she may call her home..." he inquired next, tone suggesting none of the possible secondary motives he might have in asking. Yes- meyhaps the female had made a mistake indeed in approaching the strenger. He showed nothing of fatigue, but also notably lacked the scent of flesh or blood upon his person or breath. No creature, human or euclides, was garunteed safety from the romantisized hunting of the fanged blood-drinkers.

The cast From Hell, eh? That didn't sound too... pleasent. She sat, wrapping her short tail around her body for warmth. She stuck her chest out, to make herself look more important, more dangerous. "Indeed, I've a theatre to return to. However it is empty of a cast," she wondered if a cast ever would inhabit the theatre. In such a case, she'd have to find a new home, for she would never consider joining a cast. Not many Puppet Masters would accept a Tragedy into their cast anyways.
She eyed his fangs and blood red eyes. She feared little in such a dull world, but she had to admit, this Vampire was quite intimidating, something she tried her best to avoid. She wondered, silently, if she would feel this way around any Puppet Master?
"From Hell, sounds like a pleasent cast," she chuckled, the name itself sounds worthy of misery and pain, and with a Vampire Puppet Master, it must be worth more than misery.

"I find them pleasant, as you say. We think very much alike, my cast and I." the vampire began, slow and careful steps edging him nearer the female. Yes, he was still atop the headstone, but there was a difference between perching at it's center and positioning himself upon the closest edge so as to 'unintentionally' loom just above.
"Surely even so capable a female as yourself finds an empty theatre to be a lonely...." he'd insinuate next, vibrant and somewhat predatory gaze turned away as one wing was used in gesture. He looked generally 'away' as though he would be lost without companionship. "And you are a magnificent example of your type.... but I cannot help but wonder after your rank, Fraulein Keara'Bina."

She shifted her weight. For what reasons did he want her rank? No matter, she'd tell him. "Puppeteer," she said, letting her voice slighly whisper her words. Her tail twiched in annoyance, he most certainly was intimidating. The Mustildae's eyes remained stone, and she did nothing to hint her nervousness. Though such a fine Puppet Master as he would most likely pick up on her fear.
She had not heard of this 'From Hell' cast, perhaps it was new? She wasn't much of a social creature, and wasn't in on all the new gossip, so it was possivle that there were several casts in which she was unaware.
She took a slight step back, away from the Vampire as he edged near her. She thought she should say something hot or coy, but nothing came to mind.

Again the bat-like Euclides flared wing-sails, implimenting a flap or two to carry him over the retreating female, only to land with a deceptive lack of sound 'pon opposite side. "A shame..." he murmered, voice dipping in volume. "Truly a shame mein schatz." Were she stunned enough for him to take advantage of it he would sidle nearer, lifting one slick wing to coil it about her cool body. Ah- while not terribly warm of the flesh himself due to his sailing, that lovely coat he wore was plush and rich in feel. "While I would prize you above all others, my fellows accept only females of particular ranks. However- this does not mean we cannot pass the time in each other's company...." He spoke in that alluring whisper her preserved only for the females he persued. Oh- if only she would accept. It was so much more pleasurable to hunt casually among his own than to hunt bluntly and lethally amongst the human-kind. This way he could spend a pleasant evening with a female. If nothing else perhaps his rank would convince her to accept....

The Mustildae sat on the cold ground after he came near, no longer stepping away, allowed him to get closer. 'Mien Schatz,' she had not heard anyone speak this before, any language, other than her native tongue, was unfirmiliar to her. She knew not of the German language, she was even unfirmiliar with Germany itself.
"What did you have in mind?" She held her chin high, only looking at the Puppet Master through the corners of her eyes. "There is quite a lot of time until sunrise," She turned to face him, sporting a half smile, "We may bore each other." She wondered, though not to mention it, why these 'others' would not accept a Female Puppeteer, a sexist bunch, perhaps? It mattered little to her, she knew that Marionettes were a more sought after rank. Nevertheless, she couldn't help but to wonder why a Female Puppeteer was not worthy of a position in such a cast.

Who knew where the odd euclides had discovered german? He'd known it for as long as he could remember.... It was odd indeed as most of them spoke french, but he'd simply found a knack for the harsher more gutteral tongue. Odd... but what was normal about this guy?
"Ah- but so much time gives us opportunity to do anything we might desire...." he murmered, those great dished ears folding in a way meant to be seen as soothing. What was with that funny hat he wore anyways? "And I could never grow bored of so lovely a creature as yourself...."

Lovely? Rarely did anyone find a Tragedy to be lovely, most think them to be miserable and pathetic. Was he being genuine, or sarcastic? This is where her lack of social skills come into play. If only she had the basic skill of conversation. Though, whether he was sincere or not, Bina was, indeed, flattered by his words.
She was beginning to feel more comfortable around this Vampire. Perhaps she'd even grown fond of his dangerous charm. But there was one thing that she had been curious about since she first laid eyes on the creature, "Why carry a tophat when you've that beautiful crown?" It was, indeed, and odd change of subject, but we already know that Kaera'Bina lacks conversation skills. She was sure that he had more in mind for the night than such pointless conversation, but there'd be time for that later. For now, she wanted to learn more about this fascinating Puppet Master.

He certainly made every attempt to sound genuine. After all, how was he going to get her to allow him near enough to sample her vitae if he didn't attempt a bit of charming first?
"The tophat is a symbol of my station, pretty one. Regardless of how I prefer the crown, I must keep the tophat so as to show others that I am a puppet master..." A faint shrug is made, before wing tightens gently and temporarily it's hold about her. 'Twas something like unto a hug. "This is the way that things are."

It was a simple enough answer. But did he have to carry a tophat to let others know he was a Puppet Master? Surely no one would think he was a Puppet! Though, he was fine enough to be a Marionette. Suppose he wants everyone to know that he is of a higher rank.
He most certainly was earning her trust, but she was still nervous. After all, he is a Vampire, and she remained unsure of whether such a creature should be trusted. She shrugged and sank away from his hug, not wanting to offend him, but she was still fearful of such a creature, dispite his odd charm. Once she was free from his hug, she cocked her head slightly and looked at him with an expressionless face. "I suppose I'm not used to such affection?" She said, eyeing the Vampire.

Probably she was correct, but this was simply the way that things had always been and always would be. Ever did puppet masters keep their tophats. As for her sidling away.... he'd not force her stay by any means, though the lengthy digits between which the sails were stretched would reach after to linger almost wantingly 'pon her fur. "A crime, mein schatz.... One such as yourself should practice daily the game of taunting and turning away unworthy suitors...."
