So like a goddess was she destined to destroy only the most beautiful? Well, it would certainly eliminate some competition, even though Tari had always known herself to be a particularily striking femme. But either way, the concept was still a little unnerving if only because she'd rather cleanse the earth of those who would not be missed, than dine on a lovely thing that might belong to a Puppet Master or worse... "I suppose I'll find my own preference either way. Call me a coward but I'd rather not accidentally devour a Puppet Master's pet in my quest to consume beauty. I've heard too many cases of that..." The last word was pure distaste, though only a while ago she'd been apathetic about her life, now it seemed she had a desire to keep it.
Go figure.
"Then I suppose I will not feel shame or embarassment in you accompanying me. No, if you enjoy it that much, I'd rather you come along. I owe you, at the very least, a little enticing amusement." He was a peculiar breed of nasty. The kind of nasty you couldn't really call someone out on because they were so careful about it, and so ready to justify their actions and preferences. He certainly had a million and one reasons why everyone should do things the way he saw them to be ideal in his mind. It bothered her none, so long as there was logic in his words she could consider it.
"And you truly believe that? Unfortunately it seems sinning of that kind and more are far too common in youths of any age. We kill, it is what we do, and that in itself is supposed to be such a dreadfully bad sin is it not? Don't fool yourself in thinking all temptations and similar types to mine are as... self-controlled at this age." The look in her eyes was sad, as if she felt she was missing out due to her cowardice. True, she'd made a pass at the handsome male, but he'd refused and even if he had not she could not have honestly answered whether or not she could have gone... all the way. Or even most of the way.
She still had much to learn. Much more than that to overcome, even. Her body swerved in a quick movement to the side, her tail flicking up at him in deliberation as she looked around. She certainly wasn't interested in grave scavenging, so hopefully she was not the only one visiting this old graveyard who was still alive. A scent on the wind told her that another had either passed recently, or was just coming to pass by soon. Her head swiveled back at the male, showing him that she might have a lead. Dark, piercing eyes scanned the area as she crouched low to the ground, stalking. Her body radiated a series of excited shiver and shakes as the scent occasionally grew stronger, the same as her hunger.
Go figure.
