Forgotten advice of the day for the Evil Overlord: I will maintain no association with sidekicks who em-ploy prostitutes. While such entertainment doubtlessly relieves my comrade of the wearying burden of the Heroic Struggle, the women met in this fashion tend to filch artifacts needed to defeat the Evil Overlord, act as his spies and/or assassins, carry unpleasant diseases, and (worst of all) get me in trouble with my True Love. Ljubikae sauntered in the door of Might Xerxes's theatre, her walk noticeably triumphant and her smirk speaking volumes. Or, it would if her mouth wasn't occupied by a small golden trinket which she happily spat onto the floor once she was several feet in. She then sat down and proceeded to groom and preen herself, feeling every inch worth her salt this night. What a prosperous hunt. Not only had she successfully manipulated the mind of Lord Herald's personal attendant, but she had directed the man to steal his Lady's favorite ring, his engagement present to her so many years ago. The gaudy piece was set with a diamon the side of a pea, surrounded by emeralds of the highest quality and set in a large hunk of gold. He also left a small note, well enough tucked away that it could be assumed 'hidden' but obvious enough that his lady would notice during one of her routine paranoid searches, under the man's pillow. She had liberally perfumed it and had another of the Cast's marionettes plant a lipstick-ladden kiss on its back. What a delightful mess this would make! ((I believe the two of you requested something...different? XD Short, but I was in a hurry.))

Stretched out luxuriously on the floor quite a bit away from the door was a rather large, rather handsome canine. His coat was a deep smoky color, misted with blue and painted with intricate, yet beautiful crimson marks from his nose to his tail. These marks became steadily less intricate as they reached his tail, where they became simple swirls. His head lifted, a massive thing to compliment his body, and pupiless, but not entirely blank visionaries scanned the room briefly before landing on a familiar frame, the one whom he heard enter the glorious palace. A small, simple smile graced his muzzle and he rose up onto all fours, coming to his full glory and set his limbs into motion, carrying himself lazily over to his fellow follower of the God King, onyx cross bouncing with each step. Tri-colored auditories perked forward, his interested in the discarded trinket momentary before he turned his gaze to her. He spoke, his voice just a lovely as he was, smooth and somewhere between deep and average with a hint of something else. Good Eve, profitable night I take?(( I <3 Maxis ))

The femme lifted her head, poking it out of the mound of pillows she was inhabiting off in one cornor, when she heard the sound of soft metal hitting the floor. She followed the arch of gold with her eyes when it was spit across the room, paying little attention to the others as she leaped from the pillows and chased the trinket across the room, scooping it up in one delicate paw as she came to a stop a mere inch before she would have crashed into the wall. Paper wings rustled lightly on her shoulders as she sat, eyeing the pretty like it was the last shiny thing in the world. She cringed when she realized that her fellow cast members might well have seen her and her mad dash for the ring and lifted her head, soft smile on her face, eyes peering out from her mask. Her black marked, orange fur shone, afterall, it was well taken care of, the femme being as vain as she was. She stood and took a few steps forward, the trinket somehow having been tied to one of the scarves hanging form her legs. "It would seem that your night was highly productive." Once she was close enough, she dipped her head and took the ring off of the scarf, dropping it back at the other femme's feet.

In her grooming, Ljubikae didn't notice the pretty marionette's mad dash for the discarded bauble, nor did she pay any mind to the canine until he raised his eyes to her form and spoke. She looked up, soulless white meeting pale iris, and smirked like a raccoon that just got into the garbage. "Profitable's a good word for it, yes. So is productive," she said in response to the other female. "If all nights were like tonight, our lord Xerxes would rule more of the world than he already does."
The puppeteer laughed and stopped her grooming to saunter towards the pair of them, silvery fur gleaming in the lamplight. She sat down next to Maxis and curled her fluffy tail between them, tickling at his side and paws teasingly. She'd had her eye on him for a little while now and made no bones about hiding her intentions. Still, the diamond glittering on the ring distracted her from other thoughts at the moment. It really was a beautiful, if gaudy, piece. "That little beauty will cause trouble for our friends on Shadwell High Street. Do you remember the troubles we've been having with Lord Herald, and do you remember his pretty, unstable, paranoid little wife? If she doesn't kill him before the week is out, I'll be sorely disappointed."
She sniggered to herself at the thought. Humans were so horribly easy to manipulate, especially when they gave their weak-willed servants run of the place. Poor little Chadwick. Dreams of his act would likely be haunting him right about now, but there was nothing he could do about it. She wouldn't allow him to run from the premises, nor would she let him confess his bewildering deed. Let him think himself possessed. It was more truth that he could realize.

Large auditories swiveled in the direction of the Marionettes scramble, missing it for the most part as well, but the unusual sounds, especially rustling paper, had snagged his attention momentarily. He'd always been intrigued by Masquerade types, and always had to quell the urge to steal their masks as well. It was a childish desire, but at least it was a logical one.
His attention, however, flickered back over to the Figment Coon, ears swiveling to capture her words clearly. A grin appeared upon his muzzle, lighting his face up a bit as well. Yes, let us await the day our Lord acquires a golden palace. Now offhandedly that would sound like a sentence that had anything to do with what she had said, but in all reality, it did. The golden palace represented a grand wealth and fame no mere theater could quite express, and if Lord Xerxes were to acquire one, it would certainly symbolize him quite well, well, in the eyes of this Martyr anyhow.
He shifted positions now, coming into a sit for it was far more comfortable a pose to take when one was conversing, especially with a pair of ladies that possessed the looks the two near him did now. Twas merely one of the perks of living under Xerxes rule, and it was almost enough to distract the still mildly sleepy Canine from the conversation it's self, but he returned to it just in time to get the main gist of the what she had said. Perhaps on a slow night we should do a little... spying... see how things have unraveled. He aloud a light chuckle to escape his maw. Ah, humans, such silly things.
His attention returned briefly to the Marionette, but then the pretty little puppeteer was at his side, her tail speaking volumes for it's owner. He wasn't one to find the attentions of a female dis pleasurable, males however, were another story. In fact the only males that held any sway with him were Lord Xerxes and young Phantikaeja, even though the boy had chosen to leave his mentor and deny his Lord his talents. However, without the boy around, Maxis could give into some, uh, more grown up pass times.
And his gaze slid back to the figment, the grin upon his muzzle shifting from pleasant to sly and back again. He liked to play things a bit more... subtly.

T'larryo watched the other two, smile creeping across her lips as she moved to rub her body affectionatly against theres, tickling against Maxis' chin before laying at thier feet and rolling over to bat at the ends of Ljubikae's tail. The ends of her scarves dangled over her belly as she slowly grew bored with her new game and rolled over to sit in front of them. She had been listening, finding the whole thing rather amusing.
"You know, we could always take the spying one step further if things don't go as we would like and kill him ourselves if she doesn't do it. Make it look like an accident, or better yet frame his pretty wife for the crime." She winked, her mischvious streak playing havoc in her mind. A deep purr rumbled in her chest and she took to rubbing against the other two once more, pleased with her idea, whether or not they liked it was another story entirly.

"A golden palace for our golden lord," Ljubikae agreed easily, the flattery slipping from her tongue more casually than it used to. Life under Xerxes had taken some adjustment. He was unlike any Puppet Master she had ever served before, but the benefits he offered to his members made it more than worhtwhile to join his 'kingdom' and its populace. She adored him, but could never have joined him if she were a Marionette. As a Puppeteer instead, he granted her the freedom to take any mate she chose, rather than having her sensual life dictated as other actions were. She appreciated it and served him to the best of her ability.
It helped that many of the tasks suited her just fine.
Her patterned cheek fluff curled upward as she smiled, sharp fangs visible. T'larryo's suggestion struck a chord in her. She delighted in games of intrigue, especially when she could dabble her paw in the mess. The complicated twists and turns appealed to her sense of aesthetics. Even moreso, though, she had a few little secret weapons up her sleeve that her companions didn't know about. She'd informed Xerxes of her abilities, of course, but any others were told if she needed or wanted them to know.
She looked to Maxis, his own subtle response teasing at her and proving a sharp contrast to her now seemingly tacky suggestion. Ah well. If he still expressed an interest, then the game was still on. "You know, a thought just occurred to me. Espionage is a delightful game, but leaving without dabbling in the game would just seem so...silly. Why don't we play a game with the lady's mind at the same time as we play with her emotions?" If possible, her smirk widened into a cheshire grin as her mind began whirling through the possibilities. "Wouldn't it be even more delicious if she found not only a perfumed note and her precious ring stolen, but also began hearing voices? Even better if she thought them to be things she actually heard, rather than just figments of her imagination."
((...dayum, this has the potential to be really fun. XD I'd forgotten all about her spiff-tastic abilities. Whee!))

Well now, the handsome canine found himself in quite the favorable position with two very lovely ladies in a rather close vicinity to his form. His somewhat bushy tail swayed slowly from side to side in a rhythmic motion and a grin remained upon his muzzle. However, triangular dishes continued to swivel to and fro collecting every word that was released from either of the females own muzzles. The games they spoke of rather intrigued him.
Spying and medaling, well that was something he could do, and something he could definitely go for as this eve had been rather, dull. The only humans he'd managed to come about had only riches that were either fake, nothing their lord would be interested in, or non existent, he'd have to remember not to work that part of town again, least he wished to displease the provider of such... fine things.
I'm game if you ladies are.

With a pleased smirk, Ljubikae stood and fluffed her tail at Maxis. ”Wonderful then, just wonderful. We’ll have to get together and pay an unexpected and unseen visit to the Herald estate tomorrow night. For now, however, I’m going to report to our lord and catch a few hours of much-needed rest.” The ring made its way into her possession, raccoon-like hand grasping it firmly.
She stretched, spine arching and neck stiffening as she held her muscles tight, then released it all and yawned before heading up the grand staircase. Hopefully their God-King would be pleased with her work.

((With Nyx currently unavailable, we can just say that her pretty girlie wasn’t ready to go and head out with the two of them. That way, if she comes back and still wants to play, she can have her arrive at any time.))
Darkness cloaked the pair of Euclide as they made their way to the manor house of Lord Herald. The mustildae had a small pack slung up and round her shoulders, resting comfortably against her side. In it were several items that may be needed for the night’s fun. She trotted confidently, knowing the way by heart and avoiding several time-wasting areas like the one Church that was far too close to Amuni territory for comfort.
”Having fun yet?” she murmured to Maxis as she scrambled up and over a wooden fence, her build making it easier to do. She waited, wondering if he would climb or leap.

Auditories swiveled as he listened, catching every word that came from the mouths of his present company, playing the eternally good listener. That grin never left his muzzle even as he nodded his head, bidding them adieu for the evening. Sounds fairly intriguing, count me in. Fare thee well my dears and good night. And with that he dipped his head before turning, sweeping his tail as he did for a bit of dramatics. Soon enough his mottled coat was blending in with the darkness of corridor he'd chosen, swallowing his form completely in no time at all.
_______________
When the evening approached he was more then ready for a bit of fun, and more then willing to let the swirled lady take the lead, she was easy on the eyes AND knew the way far better then he, so it was useful and not entirely in bad taste. His form, much larger then hers, blended in with the surroundings better, his coat's dark hues turning him into a moving shadow.
However, the fence proved to be a bit of an obstacle seeing as canines weren't exactly the best climbers. He watched her scurry over it and took a few steps back to give himself a bit of room to make sure he made it over, he'd rather not embarrass himself in front of such a pretty lass. He found the jump to be quite easy and landed gracefully on all fours on the other side, joining her. Yes ... but the real fun hasn't even started yet. He grinned, fangs gleaming in the night.

Ljubikae unashamedly admired Maxis's form as he cleared the wooden fence, pleased that it proved no deterrent to the shadowed male. If he'd had difficulty with such a relatively simple obstacle, she would have been forced to reconsider her plan to accommodate a less competent companion. That was certainly not the case in this instance. His body was as fit as his mind was sharp, and where the one had initially attracted her, the other pleased her as well. She could very easily see herself having a tryst with this male.
"You're very right," she agreed, turning to continue down the right side of the fence. "The real fun will start once we begin fiddling with the lovely, paranoid lady's neat little world. She recently hired herself a new handmaiden, a homely, mousy thing with absolutely no will of her own - just how Lady Herald likes them. They don't question her word, don't attract her husband, and don't stand a chance against a mind as sharp as yours. I'll have the servant draw her out, that pathetic little man already dominated, and you can nab her sweet little will."
Scurrying along as she spoke, her natural gait a raccoon's shuffle, she reached the wrought iron gate of the impressive manor house without delay. Staying out of sight, she followed the much more ornate fence left until she reached a patch of prickly bushes that grew quite close. There she uncovered a less-thorny patch to reveal a hole she'd dug, leading under the fence and into the compound. "It attracts less attention than scaling a ten-foot fence," she murmured demurely.
