The wind howled through the streets of the lonely England city, carrying rain and fog along with it, in thick blankets of undesirable weather. It was frightful, the way the window shutters slammed and banged against the walls. The way a few, needy people scrambled around the alleyways for shelter. And storm clouds kept rolling in.
It was on this, disgusting day, that you would be summoned. That five or six humble people would be called to do their creator's bidding...
"Bloody wind, they're never going to pick this up in this weather!" Arry growled under her breath, narrowing his already narrowed eyes and his two sets of arms fruitlessly tinkered with what looked to be a very low-tech radio,"Even with superior technology, we're defeated by a little moving air!" If he had been one of the original Murdon sent to Earth, he probably would've mentioned missing Zar's calm, faithful weather.
The radio clicked to life, buzzed out static, then shut off.
"Grargh!" Arry stepped away from it and pointed one of his long, bony fingers at the radio accusingly,"If I have to go out there and collect them myself-"
Click. Brr.
The radio spurred to life, and a long, eerie whistle, too high-pitched for any human to pick up, screamed through the room. Arry whinced and clamped his hands over his ears.
Well, at least it was working.
"Your creator needs you. Come to your creator. Your creator needs you. Come to your creator. Your..."
"What in god's name is that?" Emmy's nose wrinkled in disgust,"Your creator needs me?" She twisted her neck to stare up at her brother,"Isn't Mum dead? And I'm quite sure I remember eating father..."
Alec blanched and nodded his head to his sister's....unusual question,"I rather doubt they...it...it's talking about our parents, Em. I think it's, well-"
"A sign from god, the all mighty?"
Alec nodded and plucked his top hat from his head,"Something like that."
Emmy stood and stepped towards one of the shady windows, overlooking the city. Below the wind furled and hurled itself through the streets, carrying trash and garbage with it, and tossing them about like flies. There were a few scattered humans about, all hurrying towards their homes.
"Well, if it's a message from god, the humans aren't getting it."
"We are, aren't we? And we're half human."
Emmy shrugged and turned to face her brother, leaning with her hands on the window sill,"Our senses are heightened, dear brother."
"YOUR CREATOR NEEDS YOU. COME TO YOUR CREATOR. YOUR CREATOR NEEDS YOU."
The voice grew louder, more insistent, and the siblings were forced to cover there ears. By god, that whining drone and crackle of static hurt.
Then, a thunder of footsteps sounded above and below them. Both their heads snapped upwards, eyes wide and curious. Emmy pushed off of the window, brow furrowed as she stepped towards the hallway door. She grabbed the knob and twisted slowly, opening inch by inch...
And something slammed into it and hurled it open. In front of them, Euclides upon Euclides were running down the hall, all like mad dogs bent on one thing. Each and every one of them were racing towards the theatre doors.
With a jolt, Alec scurried across the dusty floorboards to the window. Sure enough, the wretched, windy streets were filled with Euclides and Amuni alike. Were those a few stray Defore as well?
What the hell was happening?
"They've been called, M'lord'ku. They're coming."
"Good,"a dark hand stretched out and slid over Arry's bald scalp,"Good. Weed out the one's I want, and send them to me."
"Yes, M'lord'ku."
"Now leave. I have work to do."
"Of course, M'lord'ku,"Arry dipped his head, and turned to leave.
"And Arry?"
The young murdon glanced over his shoulder.
"Make sure to pick only the best."
"Of course,"he offered a half-sided smile, then left the room.
To the empty room, the deep rumbling voice of Yuukuj muttered,"I don't want any screw ups. Not if there's the slightest chance to return to Zar."
Euclides, Amuni, and Defore have been called from all across the globe by a mysterious radio signal. Each one was compelled to travel towards one little nameless town in England, where the "Creator" stays. They go for a purpose, but what purpose is unknown to them.
Arry, the Creator's right-hand neuter, has been given the task to choose 5 perfect Euclides, Amuni, and/or Defore, to complete this mission.
This, is the January Hunt. It has a plot. It will not be an easy hunt, nor will getting into it be simple. There is no entry fee. To get in is free. But there is a contest for who gets to join the hunt.
The Entry Contest
To enter, and therefore to be accepted, as a Hunt participant. you must come up with an interesting and original character. This is the character you will be using throughout the hunt, so make sure it's someone you want to roleplay. If you've been accepted, you will receive your character as an actual Legacy Critter.
Rules:
1. It must be a Euclides, Amuni, or Defore. Keep in mind that your species will effect the type of critters you'll find on the hunt. If you choose to become a Euclides, it will be difficult for an Amuni to willingly join you.
2. You may not use rare types, artifacts, patchworks, mix-types, puppet masters, cheifs, or popes. Mem might be a bit iffy on giving out male marionettes as well.
3. Please keep mutations, such as wings, spikes, etc, to a minimum. Winged/Spiked/Finned/Etc. characters have a lower chance of being accepted than regular ones.
4. You may only enter one character.
5. You may not use previously created Euclides/Amuni/Defore for this.
6. You may not use breeds that aren't Euclides/Amuni/Defore breeds.
7. Try to be as original and creative as possible when making your character.
8. Please check for spelling and grammar errors.

You will be required to roleplay, obviously, for this hunt. Mem will only be allowing 5 people to enter. Anyone who is in possession of a hunt ticket is automatically accepted. They are still required to fill out the entire form, though, and must obey all rules, or Mem will take their hunt ticket away.
As stated before, this is free. No gems required to enter.
There will be 25 critters to find on the hunt. These may not all be found, and any left overs will be kept, sold, auctioned off, raffled off, or added as a contest prize. The current number of each critter to be found in the hunt is as follows:
