((Thank you /sooo/ much, Mem-luff! I was hoping to get to participate ^___^.))
--Mem's Intro-- The wind was both a blessing and a curse that night. Not a soul was left outside when the hoards of Euclides, Amuni, and Defore made their way across the commonly packed streets. The stink of animal and the commotion they made kept the weary homeless from straying too close. All of them, there must have been thousands, were headed towards one, tiny building. A shack of a thing, really, with broken windows and peeling paint, battered walls and boarded doors. The creatures slunk through every open entrance they could find, and soon it too was swarming with agitated Euclides and their cousins.
Arry watched this all with nervousness building in his gut. A single murdon would not be able to control these hoards of animals if they decided to attack. Minor fights had already broken out within the group, mainly between the Amuni and Euclides. A few dead, bleeding bodies were scattered about, and more were being nipped at every minute. The majority had split apart to be with their respective species, prefering not to mingle with the others. Arry would be more than a little relieved when this was all over.
Finally there came a gentle prodding against his mind, and he slipped off of the long legged table he'd been sitted on. It was time to find The Five.
Oh Zar. This was going to take some time.
----------------------
Alrighties ^^ This is the Open Pre-Hunt roleplay. Seeing as the Hunt is going to have major plot-influence over the entire board (eventually), Mem decided to let you guys play here.
Those who have done up applications for the hunt may also roleplay their characters here, if they'd like.
Keep in mind that -all- Euclides/Amuni/Defore have been summoned here, so you may RP as many of your pretties as you'd like.
This is will only be open until the 10th. Mem is also not going to be participating in this very much.
By participating in this, though, your character will probably have a better chance at being accepted. AND any non-character Euclides/Amuni/Defore might get mentioned in the official introduction for the Hunt Start. >3

((Alright, I'll allow this ^-^;; I was getting a tad confusing over there. No more of these pre-hunt roleplay things.
Tigs-luff, could you copy & paste Mem's intro for the second one? And add Pre-hunt roleplay to the title of this?))

Jirakaebi had taken a liking to being alone, and so while everyone was down causing a scene or socializing, she was blissfully hiding in a vent, peeking through a grate-less opening. A face came into vision, and she made a swat, only a little upset that her gloves were still on all four paws, and therefore she couldn't have dealt any toxic damage. Pity.
A short distance from her, of course, was Akaesaiba, more than likely the youngest one there. She really didn't have much interest in anything except observing. Luckily, she'd fed just before that strange message, so her bloodlust was at a minimal level. However, having to watch all these trobbing veins, the spill of blood through battle... it was starting to make her lightheaded. She headed for a less crowded corner and focussed on getting her slight hyperventilation under control. Her crimson eyes settled on eerie fluorescent green sparks in the darkness. Well, lovely, now she was hallucinating.

Jasib watched both the rush from the Call, and the gloved creature out of pure curiosity. The Lapine moved about the madness, enjoying the fuss and adding to it every now and then. But the one hiding in a vent caught her attention, and she slowed to watch the creature, who not before long began to hyperventalate.
She debated whether or not to reveal herself, the creature didn't seem to want company. And the Lapine was no longer in the mood to fight, it was strange that she was in that mood to begin with...
Soon enough, the Masculine Female stepped into view of the creature and coughed slightly, a pathetic attempt to get the creature's attention. "Gooday!" Her words slurred together, and she wondered if what just escaped her mouth sounded anything like what she intended it to. And what she intended it to was true at all. Something a called upon the her, she ran from her prey and was on her way to God knows where. Not exactly the perfect definition of a Good Day.

((Jira wasn't hyperventilating, she's just fine ^^, Saiba was the one hyperventilating. Bloodlust was getting to her a little.))
Jira blinked once and had a paw ready, making a sound low in her throat. But, she decided, if this one felt like conversation, she could at least say hello. "By your definition, maybe." Okay, so it wasn't exactly 'hello', but then again, she wasn't exactly happy to be there.
She at first, didn't know whether this creature was male or female. Now, just because she was a freak, didn't mean Jira was unnattractive. No, she was attractive in the way that badass girls are attractive. They just are. So if this was a female mistaking her for a man and attempting to hit on her, perhaps vent-hiding just became a little less appealing. And if this was just someone being social, well, they must be half crazy.
The tension was like a fine wire, and the thought of watching it swing down and dismember everyone made Jira laugh a little to herself. No, she wasn't a fan of wasteful death, but she did have a little bit of a dark humor. She didn't know what she was doing here, honestly, she had plans to make, contacts to get ahold of. A revenge to create. But, something compelled her to stay. Who was she to just get up and leave, anyway?

((This is continued from my post at the first RP, so it starts abrubptly))
Sangjaheil smiled at Jadereith's submission, stepping lightly off the mustildae. He looked around the crowd, wrinkling his nose lightly at the still packed room. There seemed to be alot of Blood types about, all in various forms of the lust. A young one stood in the far corner, he noticed becuase of the dazed condition of her eyes. It was not that he was normally sociable, it was that she had chosen one of the more withdrawn atmostphere. He slipped over, standing a distance away from the female. He looked at her over his shoulder, his mane slipping alluringly over one eye.
"Concentrate on taking deep breaths, it might work," he said, his voice soft and offhanded. He was excellent at controlling his bloodlust, but he wasn't sure if his methods would work for the others.

Saiba looked up suddenly and turned her head. She could taste it everywhere. Normally, she was excellent with her bloodlust, she'd controlled it for nearly an hour when in conversation with Biase and the puppet master. But that was easy, they were two solitary figures, and were not sweating and shedding blood around her. The heat from the bodies crammed around her was suffocating. But she breathed it in, nodding to the one who had approached her, aknowledging that she had heard what she said. When her breathing slowed a little, she stepped back.
"Stay back. Please." She requested, the simple words unusual for her. Even though it was hardly a sentence, she usually never spoke unless someone asked a question of her first. Perhaps it was the fear of giving in. Almost an adult, she knew she could channel her bloodlust into other types in part. This was more frightening than the thought of ripping into the male's neck before her and feeding off him. She was a little bit of an innocent in that respect. Probably the least sexual creature she knew.

"Hrmm," Jasib was slightly taken aback by the creatures warm welcome. "Well, it may not be the most splendid day, yet I think it gives us all a chance to get to know one another?" It may be difficult to talk to one so reluctant to converse.
Jasib was technically female, though she wouldn't admit that if asked. And friendly conversation was exactly what was on her mind... half crazy? Ha, she's of the Insanity Type! The Lapine's a gender confused, Greek obsessed... freak. She sighed, perhaps she should continue on her way to...where ever. She certainly wasn't called upon to converse with this creature, however such a thing could be possible, anything could be possible in such a situation. "Well, anyways, I'm Jasib." She didn't give her full name, rank, or her cast-not that she had one-for no particular reason. Why was her full name important if she prefered to be called 'Jasib'? And she had already guessed herself to be of a lower rank than this creature.
Jasib returned to nursing a wound on her paw, retreived before she came across Jira, awaiting her responce.

Almost shockingly bright was this jovial lapine as he propelled himself amongst the grouping with a shove of muscular hinds, pelt the color of pond scum shining faintly from brushing along many a sweat-dampened body. Darker patch of peacock green seemed carelessly splattered over muzzle and rump alike, bright golden spots shining only upon the darker-furred areas. And if his natural appearance weren't odd enough, he was absolutely covered in trinkets and baubles of every sort, the lot of them set into noisy jangling, clattering, and clinking as he drew himself to a halt.
"G'day, lads 'n lassies!" he greeted with something of a rakish smile, the many trinkets laden over his figure noisily announcing his motions as he swayed back his weight, lifting forepaws from the crowded flooring. He must have had considerable luck... as for all that the creatures were a roiling mass about him, not one brushed quite near enough to topple him down again.
"Allow me to present for your viewin' pleasure a chance at one o' my lovely baubles! Merely ante in an item o' your own of equal worth and we let the dice do the rest!" God alone knows how, but somehow the dextrous little fellow managed to scoop out a pair of six-sided die. "Just give your own a toss! Can play for higher, lower, or...." he scooped out a third with his other fore. "...'twixt! If ye choose to play 'twixt with higher risk, you get yourself a nicer bauble." He was like a thrice-damned salesman! But who could blame a fortune for enjoying a streak of good luck?

Jira almost laughed aloud, apparently it wasn't as obvious as she thought that she wasn't the social type. Get a chance to know each other better? Really, what use was there of it? It's not like most of these Euclide would ever even speak to each other again once this... whatever it was, blew over. However, a polite attempt at conversation deserved, at the very least, a small response in return.
"Jirakaebi." She said simply, not offering a shorter form. Curiosity left her to see if the femme/male would just choose a short form, or if he/she'd leave it long. The name given to her implied female, and so she was inclined to treat her as any other femme she'd met. Despite the fact that it was still hard to discern, by look, exactly what her gender was intended as.
She noticed Jasib nursing a paw and smirked darkly. There were more reasons than anti-social nature that kept her from foolishly strutting about amidst the mass of bodies. If she needed to get somewhere, she had excellent navagational skills, and would happily choose the high route. She didn't make eyes at the wound, nor a crude comment, it was none of her business, and none of her concern to be honest.
When the strange excitable male came over, she began to curse this headache-filled day. Too many happy, oblivious, naive creatures packed into one space. It made her head hurt. She was being judgemental, yes, but she was also not in a very wonderful mood. "I have no need of valuables." She said, glad that the shadows and her fur easily hid the necklace she wore, hiding her hypocricy and preventing further questions from being asked. She had her reasons for the seemingly purposeless necklace...
Akaesaiba was just near enough to catch the jingle, and while she waited for the male in front of her to make a move or give a response, she allowed her attention to focus on the lovely items with a childlike awe. She'd always had a fondness for beauty, and felt that to be beautiful, she had to wear beautiful things. Not to mention, the shiny polish of the precious metals and jewels kept her mind occupied, and away from the bloodlust. It was a good thing.

Hajard set merrily to juggling the three dice, allowing the hypocracy of the femme's comment to slip. He was no more than a script-writer after all... no need to antagonize those whom might be of higher cast. After all, those he angered today might test his luck tomorrow. His trinkets of course varied in value, though there was certainly enough polished metal and shining gemstones to dazzle the young blood to her blackened heart's content. With a bit of a whirl, he'd turn to face her. A die was offered forward 'tween the toes of his paw. "Per'aps you'd like to try your luck, little lassie? I'm bound by my die to respect the result of the roll... Have you an ante?"

Sangjaheil gave a shrug, showing he had no intention of moving closer to the female, and turned his face to the crowd. She was a child still, at least in his view, but she showed some remarkable control. She would get better, perhaps. It didn't hold his interest for very long, others seldom did. He was just waiting for that voice to explain just why they were here, in this stinking cabin, other than somewhere else.
The Lapine bounding through the crowd certainly made things much less comfortable. He didn't like jewelry, flashy things that made too much noise, and they brought back memories of the Marquis' castle, where everything was draped in wealth, those gorgeous rings catching in cold jerks as they ran through his fur. Jewelry served to enhance beauty, and he needed none of that, his beauty already having shown itself to be a dangerous seduction. Still, he watched in interest to see who would step up to the Fortune's bold challenge, surely with all the egoists about there would be plenty players. And he had the feeling more would be losers than winners.
The sporadic brightness of the baubles hurt his eyes a bit, more used to the darkness than their sudden gleam. He moved his head sideways, regarding the lapine through the thin veil of his mane, and also catching a secondary glance at the child behind him. She seemed entranced by the beauty. No surprise, his mother had been the same. Some nights she would go hunting and return bejeweled, glittering like Selene, Moon Goddess. He had watched her dance once, for one of her richer prey, her lithe human form bedecked only in a net of diamonds. With that, Eris had caught her. Yes, these jewels brought nothing but pain in his eyes.

Saiba tilted a head towards the male who had spoken to her briefly, and when it seemed that his interest shifted, she couldn't say she was really that wounded. Appreciative of helpfulness, she liked it better when others knew where to draw the line. There was a point between helping and babying which was a good place to settle for one her age. The young lady approached the lapine curiously, for it seemed none else would. Really, she had little to lose. She cared not what others thought of her, and there was only one way to learn things in the world.
"I'd try." She said, accepting the offer. She waited for dice and perhaps instructions to be given to her, it was his game after all. Not to mention, she was new to this, and didn't want to embarass him by making him seem a vender for misunderstanding young ones. But really, they were such nice colours and made such soft sounds. She had had something like this, the one who had called inside Saiba's cave, she was decorated in something elegant and beautiful. The memories were nice for her, a contrast to the hidden stroll down memory lane which the male beside her was taking.
She honestly didn't believe she'd win, she was not naive, especially for her age. It was more or less the experience that she was in it for. Because after this, perhaps she'd learn to incorporate more games into her daily routine. Games of luck and chance, they always seemed so exhilarating, so unpredictable, and so frightening. A tightening in her stomach reminded her to think... pleasant thoughts, and so she focussed on the most beautiful thing near her and waited, shooting a curious glance to Sang, but saying nothing. It was her way.

"Ah, sweet lassie. I shall teach you the game." he said, setting the die in her own paw. "We start with a simple game. Very simple. Now, normally I require an ante to play a game. A bet. However, seein' as this here's yer first game, I think we can make an exception." Knowingly he'd look to where her own gaze aimed, and be it one of his many pieces of twinkling jewelry he'd remove it without pause and carefully- by use of his teeth.
"See now lassie, this is what I shall bet. We skip your bet to meet, because you're so bonnie a girl." That accent made the word 'girl' sound sort of strange, the i stressed oddly. "We play a game called uppers. I cast my die... you cast yours. If your die shows a higher number than mine, you keep your ante and win my ante. If yours throws lower, I keep my ante and win yours. Simple game, yeh?" And with so much said, he carelessly cast his die. Merrily the six-sided piece would bounce about the floorboards, eventually falling still alongside the trinket he'd placed, four dots of ink visible.
"Not a poorly roll!" he exclaimed before sweeping one paw in a gentlemanly fashion to the young blood-type. "Now blow on yours and cast it. It's always good luck to have a lovely lady blow on your dice." he encouraged.

Enko was overwealmed by the amount of creatures in one small area when he had finally reached the place were he could meet his blasted 'creaters'. He snarled slightly to himself, but not much more came from his clamped jaws. So many creatures. They all looked the same...feline, canine, ursae...and other such builds, but there were many unfamiliar ones. Was that a fire type? No...it couldn't possibly be, unless it was diseased...it was throwing up blood regularly...and as far as he knew, his type didn't do such a discusting thing. Was that a plant type? No...it couldn't be...some very unfamiliar colors. Markings, faces, mannerisums. Some where recognizibly Defore, while others he only had to sit and wonder what they were.
He was soon becoming very uncomfortible with the presence of so many beings, and decided to get away from them by heading into a secluded area, only to find that it wasnt very secluded at all. No, in fact it was holding some rather unfamiliar characters indeed. He suddenly grew frightened. What if they were some new type of Cionre that he didnt know about? His fear overcame his anger. With the amount of creatures around they could eazily overtake him, and not long ago he passed some corpses of what looked to be the strange new types and defore alike! This place was a killing ground, and he had to be careful. He couldn't move, his muscles tencing slightly. What was he going to do? Maybe he should run? Maybe if he stayed really still they wouldn't notice him. The Red husky colored canine with elegant antlers stayed where he was.
((Hope you guys don't mind if I jump in ^^; ))
