Oh, snap, skillz xD We actually have to read that next year, I'm dreading it slightly, for english classes always have to read aloud and some of the actor renditions are horrible >.<
Umm...Mercutio, because I love that snarky bastard <3 Either a mustildae or a skinny feline, cuz that's what pops into my head ;D And I would love it if he were a marionette, but if its asking too much a script writer will do just fine <3
Thanks Mem, you're a sweetheart, I feel like I should draw you something specialz *wickedlaugh*

Of course, its Shakespeare after all ;D Mab and Merc, mmm...
R & J, for all its inane soap operaness, will always hold a special place in SD's heart, for it was her first Shakespeare play and the french musical that kicked off her obsession ;D
SDs first official role was Hermia in Midsummer's Night xD I got to yell about scratching out eyes x.X

I requested Mercutio months before we started Romeo and Juliet.
Mem's not much for soppiness, and I've always loved Mercutio. I memorized his Queen Mab speech before we started. Which was pointless, because we didn't actually have to act any of it. x.X; Nurr.
I always get very angry when we do Shakespeare. No one knows how to read it properly ''>_> I didn't get a role when we did Midsummer Night's Dream, 'cause the teacher insisted males play males and females play females, and I simply refuse to be a female. Rawr.

I cried when we started MSND, I was so frustrated with the class. Took my best friend aside (who played Lysander) and taught him how to do it, line by line.
Then the teacher smothered praise on him, and I was jealous and grumpy. James can't read Shakespeare for beans. ;-; Nar.

Actually SD didn't do a good job, b/c the teacher wanted to push fluff in the end, and I was not going to lay my head on Lysander's shoulder so help me gods >.> But I did a good angry Hermia <3
Tell me about the reading. It's in monotone, and people think you must put a pause at the end of every line, even when there's no indicated period or comma *wince*
Mercutio <3 I love him and his double entendre ;D *squee*
