Kujien moved smoothly from the Forbidden Copse and into Onyx Park, never loosing a drop of his perfect elegance as he drifted into the beautiful park. However, the Poison feline abruptly paused as he came closer to an elaborate merry-go-round.
A small human child was sitting on the merry-go-round, her lightly golden hair shimmered under the full moonlight and she sang a soft serenade to the heavens. Jien seemed frozen, watching the girl with a look of detached fascination. The girl appeared no more than 10, dressed in clothes that made her look like a misplaced china doll.
She swayed lightly as the merry-go-round rotated around and around, going slower and slower as Kujien watched her. Finally her voice stopped, and crystal blue eyes flashed open as if she she had finally become aware of being watched. Long black lashes blinked rapidly, adjusting her eyes to the twilight as she rotated one final time around with the merry-go-round.
As abruptly as Kujien had paused to eye the young morsel, the girl jumped to her dainty smoky white shoes and pelted across the park. However, unlike most humans instead of pelting the opposite direction she rushed toward the two Euclides.
"Jien! Jien!" She called out sweetly, waving frantically before she reached the large Euclide and tossed her arms around his neck, face buried in soft white fur.
The Euclide cringed slightly, as if physical contact with the human child caused him some sort of pain. For a moment he allowed her to hug him but he soon pried her off with a carefully placed paw.
"Hello Lyra."
He purred out in his usual smooth, charismatic tone. Finally his hollow eyes flickered to the Bone Marionette behind him.
"Biase. This is Lyra, you are not to harm her. Is this clear?"
Lyra toyed with her dress momentarily, politely waiting for Kujien to introduce the strange, beautiful puppy to her. Finally Jien tilted his gaze to his young pet and grinned.
"Lyra. That is Biase, she is part of my Cast."
Lyra stopped flying with the hem of her dress and beamed up at Biase.
"Hi!" She chirped sweetly, crystal eyes twinkling. She didn't like the puppies as much as she liked kitties, but Biase was pretty.

Disaster stared at the human and winced covering her ears with her paws as she sang. She growled and looked at Kujien and noticed he was waiting for her. The human's screechyness was unbearable. Disaster stood her ground and lightly growled. When the human hugged Kujien Disaster went crazily confused. "But....shes a human." She decided not to fight with Kujien over this because she could tell he would not stand for it. "Yes I understand clearly." Disaster nodded at the girl. "Lyra you may call me Disaster."

Jien's familiar venomous grin tipped onto his pale muzzle. It looked almost as if he were waiting for Biase to make a mistake, eye his pet oddly. Anything.
"Of course she's human." Jien flicked his long lavender lashed tail and gave Lyra a nudge. "Go play on the merry-go-round again."
Like the obedient child she was Lyra nodded, giggling happily and turned back toward the merry-go-round. When she was close enough to do so she caught a bar and did a little run around, gathering momentum for the spinning wheel. Gracefully she swung up and onto the metal platform, perching easily and clutching another handle, giggling happily as she spun.
When she was sufficiently out of earshot Jien sat down, watching her from across the park before gazing back at Biase.
"She belongs to me... She lures prey as effectively as some of the most beautiful Marionette's in their human form." He grinned savagely, eyes flickering along Biase's form. "Humans are wretched, sentimental creatures...especially around children. You can imagine how willingly they flock to assist a solitary child."
Jien's mind wandered back to Fae, she had seemed so attracted to youth. What would she come to think if she ever realized he had 'adopted' a little one himself. The poison male chuckled low beneath his voice, but said nothing else.

"This disgusts me can we leave, I thought we were headed towards your theatre?" Disaster didnt move even though she wanted to she held back her disgust and felt like running back to her tree in the copse. It was thebest place for her to be. The best thing about it was NO HUMANS and no she had to live with one!

Kujien's dark eyes narrowed.
"Fine. We'll go."
Rising to his dark paws once more Kujien glided away from Biase, toward Lyra. Reaching the merry-go-round as it was slowing it was a simple matter of placing a paw on one of the many metal bars to make the metal wheel stop.
"Come Lyra, time to return to the Theatre."
Lyra pouted slightly but hopped off the now stopped wheel to walk along side Jien. He nudged her ahead, slowing to remain in pace with Biase.
"You will have to get used to her. I plan to keep this pet until I run out of use for it."
Lyra was skipping ahead, her pale blue dress fluttering about with each little bounce. Kujien could appreciate how attractive she might be one day. Possibly rivaling some Marionettes. Humans were vile creatures, but she was a child. Easily molded and wonders of fun.
Compassion was quite beyond Jien, unless he decided to be otherwise, however, this little creature had struck a cord with him. Rather, she had helped to inflate his ego, innocently stroking his narcissistic traits in all the right ways that saved her life without ever even knowing it was in danger.

Kujien tilted his hollow gaze between Biase and Lyra for a moment, grinning in his usual charming way.
"Good. You would not remain in this Cast long if you could not follow a simple order not to gorge yourself on every human you saw."
The feline chuckled, watching Lyra skip ahead of them. Her summery blue dress seemed so out of place in the dark night but it amused Kujien nonetheless.
"Is that so?"
His tail flicked absently, an amused grin on his maw.
"For being nothing more than a 10 year old human, she takes care of herself quite aptly. Better than some human adults."

"Well I have made an exeption but just for her other humans I shall not." A breeze swept over the park and blew her hair in the wind sending a chill down her back. "Well its good that she takes care of herself. I dont think you could help with the coming up female problems she'll be having once she becomes a teen. You wouldnt understand but your lucky you have me because ive been through these problems and i still have them."

Kujien continued to walk, but his venomous smile became more kindly.
"Of course. I won't ask you to give up your usual diet, just to ignore this one."
He understand Biase's distaste, after all he still had issues being touched by the little creature and they'd been together for two years now.
"Female problems?" Kujien blinked, staring at Biase for a moment. What sort of problems did she have? He shook his head, attention returning to Lyra. "What sort of problems would she have? She's exhibited none."
Ahead of them, Lyra was still humming in her graceful pleasure. Occasionally she'd do a little twirl mid-step, as if dancing to the music of her hum. This was another thing that Kujien enjoyed about her: she had a good sense for music and could be used for entertainment on the stage.

"I would not tolerate it if you were to bann me from eating meat." She craved food at the moment but didnt say anything."Yes female problems. Well for one she will have many changes to her body, She will be depressed alot, She may get a smart mouth, You must NOT and I repeat you must not hit her in her chest I will hurt you if you do because that will hurt her badly and I know how it feels." Disaster thought of him hitting her and what she would do to him if he did.

Kujien snickered and shook his head.
"Of course you wouldn't, why should you?"
His head cocked lightly to the side, bright eyes remained fixated on her as he moved nimbly through the park.
"I know about the physical changes in a woman's body." He had seen plenty of human female's before, and could see no reason why her maturity would cause many issues. "I have any reason to assault her." Kujien's hollow gaze flicked over Biase once more and away to focus on Lyra, her defensive thoughts were all but see-through. "Nor would I attack you."
Long tail flicked, gaze shifting between his two Marionette's. The doll-like human and the graceful canine. Jien was rather pleased with his collection so far.
"As for depression, I couldn't see why. She's rather happy most of the time."
The Poison feline had no choice but to wait and see. Depression would be annoying, as would snappiness...disobediance. No, if she were to show such traits she would not remain his pet for long, but a nice snack. At the thought Jien licked his lips lightly, eyes sparkling, however until then she would remain his perfect little pet.

Disaster suddenly sat down. "Hey Lyra to you wanna play tag with me and Kujien?" She smiled. She hadnt had any fun in her life for a while and she guessed she could try to make the girl happy while it lasts. "How about it Kujien wanna play?"

Kujien paused, his expression perplexed and vaguely unhappy.
"Tag?"
Lyra, on the other hand, let out a delighted squeak. "TAG!" Animated china doll spun lightly on the ball of her foot and sprinted back to her Guardian and his new Marionette. "I'd love to play tag, Disaster!" The child cooed out, bouncing lightly on her feet in excitement.
She paused, momentarily, however, and glanced at Kujien.
"Do you want to play Jien too?"
Lyra knew how Jien felt about her touching him, or even others...but it was worse for her. Lyra didn't mind, it was part of their friendship, she respected him (when she remembered to) and he wouldn't let anyone eat her. At ten she was smart enough to know that the lack of physical contact was much easier to handle than being chomped on by the beautiful Biase.
Jien eyed the child momentarily and then simply shook his head. "No, pet, you play with her." With great care to how gentle he was being, Kujien lightly nudged Lyra forward with his paw. "I'll watch."
Lyra giggled with delight and her crystal blue gaze danced back to Biase. "Who's 'It'?"

Kujien blinked momentarily. Did Biase just call Lyra or himself an old hag? Lyra was no where near old, and Kujien was not a Hag as he was a male. Shaking his head the Poison male sat back upon his haunches and watched Lyra and Biase play.
Giggling with delight Lyra nodded and shot off into the park. Her mind was on one destination. The Maze. She and Kujien had spent much time in the Maze when she was younger, its turns and dead ends were now long committed to memory.
Kujien had once told her that most mazes have the same basic structure, or at least ones with creators of average intelligence. However, this Maze had not been created with the same lack of creativity as the others and was therefor harder to determine the dead ends.
Week after week, however, Kujien had brought his little china doll into the Maze, winding through it with her until he was sure she knew each turn. It was a helpful retreat from trouble and a blissful way to pass time.
She now planned to use her precise memory to her advantage. Lyra was well aware that she was not faster than any Euclides, which meant she would have to rely on the fact that not many creatures had such an apt memory as she.
