READ EVERYTHING! Requirements/Plot have been slightly revised.
Title: Dear Unfaithful
Genre: Horror
Rating/Warning: R for Violence and mature themes
Synopsis:
"Get out! Out! And take that...that wench with you!"
The door slams. He stumbles down the steps, slick with rain and stripped down to a measly undershirt and pants. Naked in the eyes of the gentlemen and ladies that huff and hustle by with their noses in the air, vermilion blushes across their cheeks. His lady friend helps him up off the cobblestones and brushes him off. A truce. He had her, at least.
Sudden white-hot pain against his cheek. The streets are deafened by a crack.
His lady friends turns on heel, leaving him wet, alone, and disgraced.
Such is the life of the unfaithful man who cares not to conceal himself.
But you don't know that. Or if you do, you don't care. After all, you're careful. Or perhaps too messy, with women (or men) who worship you like the Deity you think you are. Cheating, lying bastard. Pigs like you should be punished, tortured, locked away and forced to eat the very key that's stolen your freedom.
You don't know. Or if you do, you don't understand.
Either way...you're about to find out.
~*~
Tired. So...tired. Don't want to open my eyes. Don't want to wake up.
Wait.
I wasn't sleeping.
I was...
You're awake. You, and five others. Euclide, Amuni, Defore, Humans...a jumbled mess of species that have no intention of getting along with one another. You're not feeling too cozy toward -them- either. But that's the least of your problems. You're not where you last remember being. To the very extent of your knowledge, you're in some sort of dungeon. Locked away behind bars with no idea of how, when, or why you were put here.
Amid the fighting growls and screams someone pipes up, waving a slip of wrinkled parchment in the dusty air. "I found something!" they holler, and after a bit more shouting the group settles down long enough to hear what it was.
"Dear Unfaithful,
You know what you've done. Now, I'm punishing you for your sins.
This room is locked. No one will come for you. You won't find food, nor water, nor escape. You Will Die Here.
You are in the dungeon of a castle specifically designed to accommodate you. No one knows of it's where-a-bouts, those who built it have been killed, and those who venture too close will also mean a painful death. No one. Will come for you.
But I'm a fair person. I'd like to give you a chance, if but a small one. Throughout this prison there are notes. Hints and clues to help you find your way free. Carefully hidden and perfectly disguised clues. I advise you too look hard. Be careful, though, each clue comes with a price you may not be willing to play.
You are in this room for a reason. You are in here to die. You each know what you've done. You each know why.
Good-luck.
- Ta-ta, R.S"
