Apologies for the fact that I've barely been around/have been delayed on RPing/etc. I'm trying to cram as much as I can into my summer, and things got crazyhectic! I'll attempt to get caught up, though =) Also, I'm curious... does anyone else here go to Renaissance Faires? And, if so, which ones? I spent my weekend bouncing from place to place (I swear, I must have crisscrossed most of NJ) but a chunk of it was at a little faire. Got a bunch of exciting joust pictures and stuff, wooo! (If anyone cares to see, pictures are here- www.wanderingdruid.net/pix/ww/ ) Anyways, I think I've only really got an RP with Kitty going at this point, so I'll try to get a response up supersoon, and paging done for my newer LC, woot. yay! |

It's wonderful. <3 Huge and full of overpriced but amazing shops with quality wares. The food is the kind of thing that will clog your arteries even as you eat it happily. XD

I live in Maryland. Stevensville, which is on Kent Island, the place that connects the Western and Eastern shores via the Bay Bridge. I'm here for the summer and winter, since I go to school in PA, but it's my home and I've always lived in either Arnold or Stevensville, both in MD.

I think I'm going to a Mystic Realms larping event this summer. =D I worked at the New York Ren Faire in Tuxedo. It's a good Faire! When does Maryland run? Oo, I'll look into that! I go to Markland events... they're like the SCA, just fighting without any fantasy overtones, but I don't actually fight. I'm just the moral support wench.  Never actually been to a larp before, so my friend Adam (one of the ones in those pictures) may be taking me, woo! |

Wow, that's crazy. XD She was my roommate at college this past year and a very good friend. I met Matt briefly at Otakon as Zechs from Gundam Wing, so I definitely remember him. That is a WAY small world happening. XD
Maryland Ren Fest usually runs between August and late October, though you'd have to check the website for the exact dates. Each weekend has a theme, so come on a weekend with a theme you like, ie. pirates, oktoberfest, scottish, lovers, etc. So much fun!

That's awesome! She mentioned roommates at one point, so I assume that was about you! Hehehe. That is so crazycool. I love when things like that happen! That picture was taken as she was getting Matt addicted to WoW, lol. Hmm, depending on internship stuff and when I'm going to NYRF, I'll try to get down to Maryland  A lot of people I know go, so it would work out well, I'd think. And maybe there could be meeting up and frolicking! I'm definitely going to look into Knight Realms, and I'll poke Adam about it, too! *dancedance* I still can't quite get over the whole meeting-people-from-here-without-realizing-it thing, ee! Matt and I work on events together, adult-themed renfaire sort of things =D fun stuffs! |
