Sadly Disappointed.

OK, I have been waiting ever since I saw Pirates 2 to see the thrid one. I went to see it last night. . .I am VERY disappointed obviously. It just didn't live up to the other two and I HATED the ending. Not going to ruin it for anyone else, but in my mind, the whole movie was just badly done. Granted, sequals very rarely live up to the original, but after the second one just being fan-freaking-tastic, I expected the same from the 3rd. It was slow in the beginning, got a little better, then just SUCKED at the end. Seriously, I have never seen a more disappointing movie.

I am probably the only one with this opinion, since everyone that saw it before me just raved about how incredibly awesome it was.

I.... really enjoyed it myself. I thought it far better than 2, and damn close to outdoing the first one.... Maybe I'm odd?

The only part that really threw me off was Jack in Davey Jone's Locker. I guess it was appreciative in a sort of experimental/surreal way, but it just was kinda...non-sequitur? And I thought it moved a bit fast, but I thought it was fair enough to tie everything up. I'm not extremely fond of either Will or Elizabeth, but...you could tell something like that was going to happen ^^;;

So yeah, it wasn't as good as it could have been, but I liked it. The effects were good, good moderately solid story, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion *snugs* It's much harder to say that you didn't like a popular movie than it is to go with the flow. But definitely, I can see why it wouldn't be everybody's cup of tea ;D

I had a really great time with it, myself. ^^ Thought it was way better than two, and had a complete blast with all of the action. I liked Elizabeth well enough before - she was okay, in my eyes - but now I adore her and her actress quite a bit. She played her part very well and kicked major ass. XD All of us left the theater in an absolutely euphoric mood from all the action.

That's what my family goes to see, after all. Action, piratey goodness, and Jack Sparrow. 's what was delivered. ^_^

I thought it was overall pretty well done, tied up nicely, but nothing in my mind will out do # 1 - NOTHING! XD 2 I liked a lot of the ideas that went around, but them using a Sinaloan milksnake and a Burmese python for "scary-ness" really didn't go over with me well...more negative publicity for snakies Personally, I loved the ending...XD Then again, it might have had something to do with all of the extra lines my boyfriend and I were throwing in...XDDD

I ....um....I really liked it. An awful lot.

It nearly outdid #1 for me, (didn't but...nearly) I just really loved how everything came together. <3

Don't get me wrong, I liked the movie, but it just seemed like. . .I don't know, something was missing. I'm not even sure what, but there just seemed to be something lacking. I really just hated the way it ended.

@kitty - With the sequence they did after the credits (anyone who didn't see it PM me if you want me to tell you what happened) they have pretty much made it so that there can't be a sequal unless they do one thing, and then it would just ruin it.
