www.ff12.com/downloads/desktop/FFXII_fran.jpgThat's the font, it's a little revealing, but I'd totally do it just to wear the hair and the awesome claw-toe boots (I know someone who is Amazing at making cosplay outfits and could do Fran easily), now the back is kind of brutal in the fact that the bodysuit ends very... thong-like XD. It sucks when you have to modify costumes but the gaping tummy, thigh, and butt areas are just a little brutal for public wearing X3. I've never had this problem before, I guess Final Fantasy has just gotten more rampantly sexual with the revealing outfits as of late :3. Anyone ever done a particularily more revealing cosplay than what you're used to? Was it embarassing to be at whatever anime expo you were at, or did you find a lot of other people decided to do it too?

Thats a pretty awesome cosplay, I wish you the best of luck with that. I've never cosplayed before...though one day I hope to have a V cosplay costume. And maybe my partial fur suit...yeah...that would be sweet. Hmmm...Id be embarrassed to maybe wear something like that at a party or something...but like...at expos...theres always girls dressed rather skantly...and they seem to do it just fine XD. I guess i can't speak from personal experience...but I wouldn't be to worried about it...it's not like you would be the only one wearing a thong cosplay XD;. But yeah...I'd probably try to fix it so that con kids don't try and molest you...I get molested EVERYTIME i go to con...and i wear a shirt and jeans Xd;....can't even imagine wearing that...not because its embarrassing...but you just know your going to be molested by just about everyone  ;;;; But yeah...good luck with that cosplay! |

I tend to cosplay in more modest outfits, simply because I have a rather bad body image. That doesn't mean I don't ogle people who do dress like that, however. XD It's certainly easy on the eyes so long as the person has the body to pull it off. Knowing you, you could pull it off no problem.
*wibbles* I'll be heading to Otakon this weekend cosplaying as Aeris from FFVII, so I'll be oggling and taking tons of pictures. XD

I've only been to one expo before, and it was small, so the molesting was at a minimum thank god . I've only heard one really bad story associated to a... more revealing cosplay a friend of mine did, it involved horny old french men and romantic propositions of dirty motel rooms x_O, I felt bad for her indeed XDD. |

Yeah...Anime Expo where I live is pretty intence ;. Its HUGE. And as a cosplayer...you can't go anywhere without getting stopped about 5 million times XD;. Not bad if your a cosplayer...but as I am not a cosplayer...most people go "Oh you want to take a picture of me? Here Arielle, hold my bags!" It gets kinda annoying when your the bag lady for 7 people >.>;;;; Oi I want to cosplay so badly...if only not to be the bag lady XD; Yeah...like...its pretty terrible...I had a friend who dressed up like a naruto character...and literally this woman clung to her...and like...wouldn't let any of us near her... I was like "Ugg...I love anime...but the fans are retarded". I wanted to slug that woman so hard >.>;. And yeah...my friends wearing even MODEST clothing...like LAYERS got molested...I can hardly imagine wearing what you are going to try to XD;. So I guess....a word from the...not so wise but kinda....just...stay away from grabby hand people (because there are so many at cons >.>  and always have someone there with you to fight them off just incase >.>; |

...wow. That's insane! I wonder if they'd get the hint if people starting running away in Fear? XD I certainly would politely inch away and then make a break for it. Clingy random people would fill me with much nervous fear. And the molesting would just get some poor kid knocked out XD. I'm surprised there isn't a big rule like... no molesting those cosplaying or you will get... uh... punished somehow. Being bag lady would suck, tends to be why the people I know get hotels for a night and leave their stuff there, also one of my friends just had a bag compeltely dissapear when she turned her back for literally two minutes that would suck. They didn't have a bag lady that time XD so think of how many bags you've saved! You could be an anime superhero next time... super bag saving lady? :3 |
