Breedings closed?! *goes off into a corner to cry* 7 am...on a SUNDAY?! V_V I've never had any babies before...and I had a Xerces pairing too!

Kryos, I don't think it's very fair to whine and complain like that. You don't even want to know some of the things I (and many other people) have missed out on because it was 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 am somewhere for someone who was running whatever the event/contest was. It happens to us all. Mem deserves to close this when she feels she is going to be overwhelmed, having a breeding so early after the board opened was a nice enough treat. Don't make her feel bad for doing something nice just because you missed out. And it's extremely unfair to whine like that when you know Mem's a softie and will probably just give in because she sees you upset.
Also, four other people had an Xerces pairing... so I'm pretty sure it would be nice to give poor Mem some variation <3. I'm waiting on my Xerces pairing until next breeding or so simply for that reason, and because I like to try and make sure everyone gets to participate in more than one pairing instead of one person participating in everyone's breedings.
All in all- your time will come. I'm sure Mem will have one late at night someday and you'll be one of the few people on while the rest of us are sleeping only to wake up and realize we missed out on breedings X3.

I know that just as well as you Tigs (after all, FP is in the same timezone as me), but I don't believe that it says in the rules that you aren't allowed to comment on the irony of the ungodly hours that you people must keep! XD I would have missed it regardless, even if I had gotten up at my "early" time - just life's way of pulling it's own April fools prank on me XD I apologize if I came across any different - the Internet is not the best medium for conveying irony.

FP you're freaking crazy, what the crap are you doing up at 4am typing in the boink forum threads with your crazy babies... wait, I'd rather not know XD. No, of course you're allowed to comment, but your comment came off as trying to make Mem feel guilty about closing the breeding before you got a chance to post... which Tigs does not approve of. I am Mem's personal guard-dog/sex-kitten so I have to be overprotective ^_^. I hate April fools. Because I never partake in it, so people ALWAYS get me with pranks >_> because they're like APRIL FOOLS! And I'm like wtf? April fo?- oh right, it's the 1st of April again... I'm going to erase this day when I take over the world >_> |

LOL yeah...I was up really late that one night Xd;;; *shrugs* Rez wouldn't let me go to sleep...plus i had homework to do XD;
*nods* I agree with tigs on the not making Mem feel bad, as she has alot on her plate with this new breeding batch. But I also understand Kryos' disappointment. I remember when I missed my first breeding oppertunity and it really does suck alot XD especially when you have a pairing you'd really like. We got to remember that Kryos hasn't been as fortunate as you and I when it comes to the number of Euclides and such that we have. But yes, I also do agree that Kryos should try not to make Mem feel bad about closing the draw when she did.
Don't worry Kryos! Worse comes to worse...next time around I'll ask for a breeding with one of your crits. I'm usually pretty good about catching Mem breedings <3. But I honestly don't think you have to worry...Mem is really good about having lots of avaliblities <3 So not all hope is lost <3333

LOL...I wish it was THAT kind of homework XD; Nope...essays on Puppy Mills and a Responce to an essay on the Death Penalty...really happy stuff Xd;;;;
