I think it's fair to say that snagged names are kind of wasted at this point unfortunately . I can't see Mem accepting entries from posts that have been edited after 12:00 because that would be effectively cheating .

LC Species: Defore Type: Torrent Appearance/Color: The base colors of the torrent-type range from a midnight blue all the way to a vibrant cerulean, this brindled through by markings of white, grey, or a pallid blue. What's most intriguing is that the brindling is always fairly straight, and set at an angle that mimics sheeting rainfall. It's not uncommon for a paler white or grey to 'mist' about the feet and ankles of torrent defore, taking the shape of socks. Personality: When it rains- it pours! Torrent are an aspect of one of the forces of nature, particularly- that of the water element. Predictably, torrent types are well able to withstand a good deluge, nevermind that they're downright incredible swimmers. Able to hold their breath for an extended period of time, many a water rescue from flood-swelled rivers is performed by this very type. Personality-wise, torrents are quick to simply get past something and move on as though the personal slight never took place, as eager to pass to an easier state of being as rainwater is to trickle along the easiest path. This doesn't however mean that they forget- as someone who's acted that way once may well do so again. A torrent's wrath is perhaps not over-difficult to provoke, but it's certainly impressive. Words come always before blows, and in a downpour that pays sure homage to their names. Many a foe is caught off-center by the harsh truths or profanities, and their moral brutally lowered so that any fight to follow is incredibly one-sided. Any other information: The understanding by most is that toreents are simply the more severe examples of the rain type, though through consistant pairing off amonst themselves, they've become thier own type with their own original traits. Common mutations amongst the breed are a consistantly soaked look, thwier fur weighted down by water and dripping. This isn't a consistant thing, but again- it's not uncommon. The wrath of a torrent type is rumored to bring rain, which often means the poor creatures are plagued by those in need when the weather turns too dry for too long.

That's assuming the cut-off is at noon. In case it's not untill midnight, I'm going to continue on. I feel like letting them sit there is a rediculous after calling dibs and all.

LC Species: Defore Type: Tempest Appearance/Color: Tempest are oft a base white- but can vary to a light or even a dark grey in fur tone. Darker tones when present are usually gathered into splotches or blotches that are (ironically) cloud-like, and there is always at least one yellow mark somewhere upon their bodies. Most commonly this takes the shape of a yellow blaze, but can be more or less prominant dependant upon the defore. Personality: Somewhat similar to their torrent cousings, tempest renowned for their temper. However- they are far more fluid of emotion. It's easy indeed to provike a tempest into a wrathful fit, and if you know them well enough it's just as easy to move them past it. Tempests are mercureal to a point, revelling in each intense emotion as it comes to them before whisping to the next. As many think them useful for their intensity as think them crippled by it, for while they can certainly be destructive or overbearing, there's few creatures indeed that are able to love as deeply or care as truly as a tempest can. Any other information: Often decked by wings or wind-tossed manes, tempests are impressive beasts indeed! Those maned are likely as well to have lush tufts at the end of their tails regardless of breed. Those without manes often sport tufted ears, and it's not unknown for feathering to make itself present at joints that might normally be tufted. Even those tempests without wings profess a love of flying, often taking themself to great cliffs or the like to feel the wind across their pelts. Vestigal wings are a potential trait as well, though those who posess them are commonly jealous of those with wings that function....

if it was midnight I think she would have said 12:00am wouldn't she? As AM implies midnight and PM implies noon. I'd just hate to see you put all that effort in and have it be for nothing D:.
Also, not to be rude at all because I know how hectic and inconveniencing life away from the internet can be, but this has been open for like... a month XD and most of the dib-called types were made on like the 8-10th I believe, so it's not like there wasn't enough time.

LC Species: Defore Type: Undertow Appearance/Color: A variance of blues, undertow type defore are all but black at the feet, their color lightening as it spreads uo their sides, with the lightest point being at the spine. Often their eyes are shadowed by a dark mask-like marking, and small gatherings of bubble-like circular markings often decorating here and there. Be it brow, shoulder, flank, or wherever! Other markings found in older defore are ripple-like stripes over the top of their backs, their spots having faded as they matured. Personality: Undertow are some of the more morbid of the defore types, but then again when most of your experience is with sunken ships and drowned corpses, wouldn't you be? They've something of a sick fascination with death, and while they'll certainly save their own kind when there's need... they're the sort to 'suffocate' a drowned-type euclides when it comes down to a fight over territory or for their life, as they're able to stay out of the water longer. Any other information: Undertow are one of the more dangerous defore types, not too very distant from the drowned type amongst euclides. Consistantly they must remain submerged, able to leave the water and breathe air for perhaps an hour or two in a day. Understandably, undertow commonly look to be soaked or swimming, rather happily at home underwater and oft accompanied by either an aquatic companion, or some object they've found sucked down by the undertow. Common mutations are fins, gills, and webbed feet.

*shrug* People get them mixed up sometimes. And I'd rather write it out too late than have snagged all those types just to let them sit there. If nothing else maybe Mem can use them, even if I get no prize because they're late. It's still helpful.

Good point, Mem does always need extra types. Hopefully if it did close at noon there weren't enough types to satisfy what she needed so that she can slot some of these ideas in . Tigs likes watery types XD.

If she lives to next week, she should be fine...she was born premature though, and didn't absorb her yolk sack...so she's very thin, but at the same time her stomach is all swollen and bloated...she could very well have gotten an infection with her guts hanging out like they were, and if she does, then the first sign of anything being wrong will be her death. But, so far, she's happy and energetic, so I have faith - sending healing thoughts her way would be much appreciated - I'll take some pictures later on...^^;;

Is P.M not midnight?
Midnight. S'what I meant. Makes things easier for me, because the board tells me what made it and what didn't.
-yawn- I am exhausted. But I shall read these over. Hopefully I'll choose winners sometime this weekend.
Room cleaning time now.
