Oh, hahah. What an ironic title.

I really shouldn't be doing this, buy Mem's Muse demands that she, at the very least, proposes the idea. Please keep in mind that this whole...thing probably won't be starting up any time soon, if it starts at all.

Mem has gotten it in her head that she'd like to start up one of those...dog-breeding-communities. A sort of...sim-game, like the NCC (Nordic Canine Club). With stress put on show and breeding, and extra stats added to the dogs (such as height, weight, conformation, and other such things important to show). Something a little more...involved and realistic, compared to those "collect as many as you can" canine-sim communities. After all, having lots of doggies is great, but wouldn't you like to earn a name for them?

And, because Mem is all for roleplaying, there would be an optional roleplay area for the dogs as well, and perhaps a point system that may allow their "stats" to increase/get better/become closer to optional breed standard.

So...is anyone up for this? Good idea? Bad? Suggestions?

Hmm That sounds like a good idea...my only worry is that it might not be as active as the LC crits ad such >.>; seeing as most people here are addicted to euclides more then anything else XD;. Its also good to be really careful with games like those...as alot of them have serious copyrights on them ; So it would have to be something sorta unique while still being in the same idea and such. I would love to be a part of this idea <3 or rather adopt and such...

Out of curiousity what kinda dogs would be adopted out? Just like...everything and anything?

I love stuff like this, but once it reach a certain level of complication it's just not fun to me anymore ;_;

I'd honestly suggest furry-paws.com if you want to play a game like this, because if you split your attention between crits to make a new one you will likely swamp yourself and end up losing interest in both. And honestly- I'd hate to see this place hiatus again or see the new ones go the way of the noul

I'm going to have to go with Fera on this one. You already keep shoveling more and more onto your plate as far as the LC are concerned, you have what, four seperate LC adoptables going now that the pirates have started to be shoved into the mix? XD

I have a plot. So I'm going to do up the site, and toss the idea at you loves again. I certainly won't start anything until the summer, at least, seeing as I'm doing stuff here, and I've got me a book to write.

But...I'm very fond of the whole kennel-thing. And my plot.

XD For the hell of it, I'll give you a quick run-down.

Summary:

Some sort of disease has caused infected humans to mutate into zombies, biting or otherwise exchanging any bodily fluid (spit, semen, sweat, blood, etc.) spreads the infection to others. Zombies want to eats the people, yadda, yadda, yadda.

The non-infected people find a section of five islands (indonesia, perhaps? I'm not sure yet), and move there. They make a few trips to the mainland to fight the zombies, regain some land, and find out that none of the dogs have been infected (where-as the other animals are zombie-fied). The people take as many dogs as they possibly can back, and begin to breed them and the like, focusing on strength and speed, etc. They're hoping to build up a whole bunch of them to send them off to the islands to kill the zombies.
