TREASURE ST. PAWN SHOP
[/size][/u]
For a pawn shop, Treasure St. is surprisingly well cared for. The floors are scrubbed and sparkling and everything seems to have its proper place on the (well-dusted) shelves. It's not a large building, by the paint is bright and cheery and the atmosphere seems inviting. Adjacent to the polished door is a small desk and register, behind which sits a very large mountain-type defore. She smiles pleasently at you, and seems nice enough but you'd best not pickpocket in this store.
"What can I help you with, my dear?" says the defore. "We've got all sorts and sundries from the world over. Let's see if I have what you need in stock..."
.// RULES
- Items may be paid for with secor, Game tokens, or with other items of equal value.
- All values are merely suggestions. Items here my be haggled over to your hearts content.
- If you wish to purchase an item to gift to another character, you may do so, but you MUST state who the item is going to and why in the form. This is to prevent individuals from using secor from one character, to purchase items for one that is inactive/hasn't earned enough themselves. There must be an adequate in-character reason for this gifting.
- Once you've traded an item at the pawn shop, you cannot switch back. All sales are "final" to the extent that you would need to start an entirely new transaction to "re-buy" your old items.
- Once an item is in the pawn shop, anyone can try to purchase it. You agree to this when attempting to trade your items.
- Once an item has been traded to the pawn shop, you no longer have any control over it. It may go to anyone, an NPC, or simply be kept at the back of the shop to collect dust. Or it could be tinkered with and changed.
- In order to purchase or trade for items, you must respond with an in-character post. (You will get reply points for doing so.)
- You may not attempt to purchase an item that is not on display. Any items kept off the shelf are done so for a reason.
- You may not reserve an item from the pawn shop.
- More than one character may attempt to purchase the same item. Bribery is the pawn shop keeper's best friend!
- Requests to purchase can be denied at staff member discretion, for any logical and fair reason.
