FILIBAI'S - SHOPPE The Shoppe you seek is up a rickety staircase and through a door that barely rests on its hinges. You hardly see it as the entrance to a famous store, but you followed directions and they led you here. Taking a deep breath against the musty odor emanating from the cracks in the door, you turn the handle and let yourself in.
A thick velvet drape blocks your path and you push it aside impatiently, only to be greeted by an oddly chilling sight. The bright blue creature sitting in front of you on a cushion is one told of in legend, her four arms juggling several brightly colored pieces of fruit and her lipless mouth emitting some strange, lyrical sound that you’re unable to decipher. She looks up at your presence and stops her play, standing more gracefully than you would have expected from such a tall being.
“Yes?” The sound is a purr in your mind, both chilling and fascinating. “How may I help you today, creature of Yuukuj? Have you come seeking my services? Do you really think you’re worthy of my wares?” It’s obvious that the Murdon is amused by you in the tone of her mental voice.
Taking a deep breath, you organize your thoughts and voice your request.
